Had dinner at Two Bit's and a Bite on a Friday night. I had the Brosted chicken. My Chicken was juicy with nice crispy skin. The service was good even though our waitress was the only sever on duty that night. The restaurant seemed to be very clean. The music chose was not my favorite personal preference, I guess. The food is always good and the ladies that work there are very accommodating we went in last night and Jeremy the manager was there and waited on us. I have a lot of food allergies the ladies help me with my orders I order brosted chicken with out breading on it I've ordered it many times I order it last night and Jeremy came unglued he started ranting and raving about how they weren't supposed to do it that way and how he was going to talk to them about it. I was there Thursday Dec 22nd at 545pm. I ordered a hamburger and soda, it came to around $13, I tipped $10, the guy told me it would be a 15-20 min wait....no problem I knew it would be longer than that...90 min later after asking twice about my order I was treated like an asshole. thanks for the 23 dollar soda, enjoy the $10 tip you really earned it, the two burgers i did see come out looked awful but hey it's possible it may have tasted good, i wouldn't know, I don't know why I don' learn my lessen about being generous with service industry workers. We frequent this establishment on Wednesdays. Two weeks ago I ordered a burger and fries I got the burger however the french fries were like fried potato sticks. Last week I ordered a hamburger and the gentleman behind the bar told me that it's too hot outside for them to make burgers. Went in last night to play pool and have dinner as we do fairly often. We ordered right away at the bar before even setting our stuff down at the pool table. Hubby drinks old fashioned and she didn't even put sugar in it. I hadn't had more than a cursory sip of my drink, took first bite of my BLT and got teeth full of hair. Ran to the ladies to throw up. My hubby had 1 of his chicken strips, but there was no way we stay and finish. We had to leave because my stomach was completely done. While I was in the ladies, hubby told the bartender and cook that there was hair in my sandwich and where I was at. When I finally emerged he motioned to me to find out if I was ok and I was not. We packed up, and went to pay and were charged for everything other than the hair sandwich, for which I started to confront the bartender, but she got a bad attitude. I didn't want to ruin the other patrons night by causing a scene so I paid and left with the intension of coming in to confront the owner or morning manager. Then morning manager, proceeded to tell me that "no matter if you drank your drinks at all, once they are delivered, you must pay for them; even if they're wrong". Flat refused to make it right. We're talking $44 for not drinking or eating or finishing our game and getting sick. So now I'll be contacting the health dept. as well as disputing the charge on my card. We used to live across the street and have been frequent customers for over 20 years. Sad that I'll have to find somewhere else to play pool. read more

However, last night their new girl Eleanor gave the worst service she could possibly manage, picked fights with just about every guy in the bar who wasn't her in her friends group, and called our group members every name in the book when she was questioned about our tab. Best pool tables in the Tri-Cities! Pool league a couple nights a week. Service usually isn't very good but is good at times. They also have darts although last year only one dart game worked. The other ate our money many times but the staff said there was nothing they could do since a vendor ran the machines. Darts available for purchase. Lots of cameras and the owner watches them. For all of you that think I am an absolute crank when it comes to my restaurant reviews, 2 Bits and a Bite is what I base my other local reviews on. Always dine with friends and we have for years and years. You can have a full lunch with bottomless (non-alcohol) drink for less than $10 (not including tip) and make it back to work in a reasonable amount of time. Quality of the tavern food has never let us down. Yes there are a few other places in the Tri's I can say the same of but not many. We quit frequenting many of the other regular restaurants when either the prices became obscene or the service and/or food got so bad. We haven't been to Shari's since they priced themselves out of our comfort level years ago. Same with Anthony's lunches. I have noticed some places I gave bad reviews seem to have gone out of business. So kudos to 2 Bits. read more

I'd always thought of checking this saloon out, but...I'll be honest--it scared me. I'd drive by and see smokestacks outside (people and their tobacco), and they looked scary. But I finally had a bodyguard with me, and she was up for joining me on an exploration of this establishment. I hope I don't have to draw a diagram on the chalkboard, but in case you didn't get it, this is a dive bar. So that has to be kept in mind here. The place is fairly cavernous and big. It has quite a few pool tables. The bar is long and is "L" shaped. They have an meager to average supply of beers on tap. I've also seen food specials on their sign outside. For me, the word which comes to mind: dudefest. There were lots of guys in here. I'm talking a 75/20 (or more like 85/15) male/female ratio here. So yeah, not really my desired proportions. If you want space, if you want a basic drink, or if you simply want to stagger out of a dive bar, this tavern can do you good. read more

Update: Since the review, there has been some exterior remodeling, but the most noteable change is the absence of the pinball machine. Now when I go in, I ask for my beer in a 40 oz. container so I can pour it out in memory of Medieval Madness. Two Bits is a surprising venture from the normal lunch fare. The bar itself isn't much to look at, not much in the way of character or design. But for what it lacks in shirt and tie interior, it makes up for in price, TVs, seating and in pinball machines. This joint is the only place in the area that has a (mostly) working Medieval Madness pinball machine, largely regarded as one of the most fun to play. And, as such, I've found myself changing out singles like I did when I was 7 years old just to play games. As for food - we've got the standard bar fare. Nothing exceptional except for the price. Great deals all around for solid portions and the unwavering use of onion buns for hamburgers (good choice, lads). I've managed the Ruben, the hamburger, and the wings in my visits. The wings could use some work in comparison to a Wingstop or Hot Wingz, but are still tastey (non-sauced). Hamburgers are worthwhile, for sure. They've also been very accommodating in our group's predilection to unusual or unpopular sports on their big screen TV, so it's become a bit of a destination when those sort of events come up. I've not tried out Two Bits in the traditional bar sense, so no reviews for beers and such - nor for the quality of their pool tables, of which they have a few. read more

I have officially been here two times, and I've come to learn that apparently the bartenders here are all just total cunts. They don't care about the customers whatsoever to the point where they won't even give a smile or list their drinks without demanding you spit out an answer so they can cater to others. (Despite only having just begun ordering.) I didn't even bother ordering after her rude responses to my friends and me. Not personable whatsoever. Generally you want to at least pretend to be nice to your customer - especially when the bar really isn't very full. I had an issue with a different bartender being an absolute bitch as well the first time I came here. Her attitude wasn't the only thing that was atrocious, though - People must come here for beer, because these guys can't make a mixed drink to save their lives! I sent back a drink three times to be remade, which of course made the bartender even more rude. Despite having to pay for a drink that night, I still didn't drink the drink. It was absolutely undrinkable and a waste of money. Tonight, the bartenders are apparently not much better. I didn't get a drink myself, but my buddy got this very tiny, sad, yet expensive excuse for a Trash can. It was in an average-sized restaurant glass, no can of Red Bull, and according to him, it tastes extremely funky and bad. Basically, an actual trash can's juices would taste better than what he got. Underrated and under appreciated bar in Richland off the usual Uptown circuit. Its got a big room, lots of pool tables and lots of locals who might give you the "what the hell are you doing here look". I like the fact that drinks are reasonably priced (beer, shots, mixed drinks). I spoke to a super nice guy named Alan or Alex cant remember. he was telling me about 8-ball tournaments starting up soon on thursdays and I should come down and play, his friend who i guess runs them was very knowledgeable of the game as well. I inquired how the food was and I will just call him Al said to try the double cheese if i was really hungry. I went with a single with bacon and omg DELICIOUS! My only complaint was the rudeness of the pregnant Hispanic girl working there, seems to not really like her job or maybe it is just dealing with people. On July 3rd my phone was stolen while I was playing pool at Two Bits & a Bite, I told management as soon as It happened, they told me they would look at the security cameras. I went back to find out what they had found the next day, but they did not check it out & told me to come back later, this went on for 10 days. I went back to Two Bits & a Bite on July 13th & asked did they look at the tape, they said they where too busy, I told them rather they're too lazy to look at the tape or they just don't care.
