The crew is very experienced and the materials are great quality. They started by improving the soil, then made sure I had input about where the rocks and plants were placed. They turned on the water and made some small adjustments to the heads and noted that several of the pop-up heads were not rising and lowering smoothly. He informed us that we would have to oil the heads. In addition, they noted we have 7 zones and the 6th zone was not working. However, they could not locate the 6th zone and, therefore, we do not know where the 6th zone is and if that would impact our underground sprinkler system. I was disappointed in their service for the following reasons: 1. We have a Rainbird system and Mile-Hi specialized in Rainbird (according to their website) yet, they told us we would have to oil the heads. We are not sprinkler and irrigation specialists and would think that as part of their turn-on service they would ensure all heads were calibrated and properly functioning. 2. The fact that they could not identify Zone 6 makes me wonder if the technicians that were sent out have been properly trained to work on Rainbird or any sprinkler/irrigation system. It seems now that we have to find another Sprinkler/Irrigation company to finish the job.

A tree root crushed a sprinkler line. I had Manuel out to give me a quote for a leak in my sprinkle…read moreline. He had me turn on the zone and he walked the path of the sprinkler and found the real problem. A tree root had crushed the sprinkler line. He is like the sprinkler whisperer. Came back the next day and fixed both problem areas. Tamped the soil and replaced the sod. Can't even tell where he dug up the sod. Price was exactly as quoted. Understanding the circumstance, but also willing to wait for the right team, I responded and asked the business to let me know if that changed in the future, as we have several projects in our home and are hoping to bring the same team aboard for all of them. I then received the attached response offering a completely different explanation than before. Rather than acting with integrity, the business elected to tell a lie, as the project was likely not lucrative enough for them. I made no reference to my budget, but the business assumed I would not be interested in paying their prices. I would like to offer a two-star rating, though, as the communication was quite prompt.

This company charged us $650 to mow our 1 acre property. They came with one push mower, their…read moreriding mower was 'broken'. The work was fine but...they charged an hour travel time to our property and extra again because their crew took an hour and a half lunch because their truck battery was dead and needed a jump. We'd already charged it once while the crew was at our property. Before the crew was done, we noticed that a window on our RV was shattered, apparently due to a rock that was thrown during trimming. Accidents happen and the owner sent an email saying they would pay for the window. The owner apparently changed his mind and wanted the claim to go through his insurance. Ok. Two weeks later we are still waiting for an insurance approval or denial and a late charge was added to the bill for the mowing.

I made one mistake when I hired JR's Landscaping in Evergreen, CO--I should have hired them sooner…read more JR's has done a stellar job maintaining our yard--raking pine needles, mowing, weed-wacking and blowing the decks and patios. The crews have consistently arrived on time, greeted us warmly, worked quickly and steadily, and each time they have headed out, they left us feeling both relieved that we didn't have to do the work ourselves anymore and pleased that the yard looked better than when we did it. As I watched them work outside this morning, I said to my husband, "That's the best money we ever spent.". Thank you so much for taking such good care of us.
