We bought a home that had had a new roof put in a relatively recently. Our real estate agent…read moreconfirmed the warranty transferred from one owner to us prior to purchase. We encountered issues with roof leaks within 6 months of moving in. Contacted these folks to see what the warranty covered, what it didn't, and wanted them to come see what we needed. Took weeks to get them out, they lied about mailing us a copy of the warranty, finally did come out, fixed something, didn't say a word to us and left. I followed up to see what needed to be done, crickets. Finally had another company come look at- he told us there were super recent repairs. Expert Exteriors then gaslit me and my husband about what happened, saying the tech (the owner I think?) spoke to my husband before he left, when he absolutely didn't. We currently, 3 years later, still have issues we've been trying to get them to come fix to no avail. Our roof leaks in several places. We probably have mold at this point. We can't get them to honor the warranty, or even just come take a look. But we also can't have another company come look and fix it... without voiding the warranty. No idea what we ever did to make them so hostile, but they did shoddy work and won't stand by it and their "warranty" means nothing - at least to us.
