A bit more salty than I'm used to and texture was different. I think that was because of the muscadine syrup they put on top. I'm also thinking that may be the cause the saltiness. That they add a but more salt to counter the sweetness of the syrup. It was super tasty though. We had a 6:00 reservation for ten people. It was 7:00 before we received the chips and queso. It was also supposed to come with green sauce. However the owner who was on site opened it up just for them. That's Texas hospitality at it's best. As I waited in the car for the girls, I was intrigued by the uniqueness of the property. The only drawback is that they do not have an air-conditioned area and this is the summer in Texas so it was extremely hot outside even at 6 PM at night. This would be a great place for a small event or to especially visit in the spring or fall in Texas. The venue is a nice outside garden type of atmosphere with a pavilion set with tables for eating pizza and tasting wine. We will go back when the weather is a little cooler.
