The food is pretty reasonably priced. I made the mistake of getting a jalapeño and cheese kolache thinking that was all it was stuffed with. It was a sausage, jalapeño and cheese kolache. I don't eat pork and returned it. They tried to give me my money back and they were very sweet. It was my mistake for not checking. They insisting I get something the equivalent. He gave me an egg croissant. The owners were super sweet and kind. The sandwich was good and the donuts and spinach pastry were also excellent as well. I would highly recommend this business. Getting to Kim's Donut was uber confusing. It doesn't have the name on the business, so be sure to keep an eye out for a large sign that simply says "Donuts." Kim's sells two types of kolaches: cheese, and also those with cheese and jalapenos. I never go with just cheese, preferring a bit of heat on my kolaches. I found the yeast bread was cooked perfectly! Sometimes, the inside will taste wet -- as through someone had licked them. But not those at Kim's. Also, they are huge! About the length of the palm of my hand -- and I have big hands. They also have other donuts, glazed and unglazed. And coffee. And a drive thru, which is useful. We do like this one best in all of Marshall for several reasons: 1) they make here a huge Apple fritter which no one else we have seen does. 2) the owner was nice and just gave us a donut to try since it was our first time in....see, people notice this stuff. 3) the bread, the croissant, was baked in such a way it was thinner and crispier and better than what we have tried at other places. 4) and last, the name is "Dragon Donut!" ....I would go to Dragon Donut any day over places named royal or palace or whatever...just because "Dragon" is in the name.
