5 stars for menu and food quality. But honestly this location just sucks. I don't think we've ever had an order be 100% correct. We order out from here a ton due to convenience and location. We've had a straight up raw burger not once, not twice, but three separate times. They constantly forget sauces, add ons (which cost extra), and even main ingredients of the dishes. The menu is way too limited to be forgetting to add things to the meals. It's so sad, because the food is so good! The service just is so bad.

My favorite tacos ever. The aoil is beyond delicious, the fish is seasoned perfectly, and the pico de gallo is so fresh. Get it every time I come to Shawnee!

I love twisted fresh, the food is great. Servers are nice but this place is never clean when I am there. Never, ever, ever. Also slow vs other spots.

Tried Cajun chicken tacos but I couldn't get them down, very dry, very very dry. Don't know if sauce was supposed to be included but as is I don't know how regular humans chew these things. I was at a disadvantage because I ordered for delivery. So spent $20 for stuff I had to toss in trash. This was a fail for me.

Buffalo Chicken Wrap

Enjoyed a quick lunch at Twisted in Shawnee. The service was quick and fresh. The Buffalo Chicken wrap was tasty and hit all the right flavors. Only one thing I wish was different is the celery in the wrap - wish it was a smaller dice instead of a chunk. I would definitely order again!

I. Freaking. Love. This. Place. Period. It is honestly one of the best fast casual restaurants in the country. There are a few places where you can get highly delicious and extremely nutritious food. You typically have to sacrifice one for the other, but not here. You can have both! I'm waiting for them to franchise their restaurants so I can just buy one myself and eat there every day for lunch and dinner. This is a family favorite where we all get something different and we all love it. Then we come back again and try something different and do it all over again and love it even more. My problem is is that I can't stand or just one thing what I would like to do is order for wraps and be able to stomach them all in one sitting. That's the toughest thing about this restaurant is trying to nail down something you want from the menu that has tons of great offerings. I also highly recommend catering because that's an easy way of ordering tons of stuff and being able to sample almost everything on their menu. They do a great job catering and the food product and quality is just as good as you were ordering it at the restaurant. Overall this is a solid place for any meal, anytime, for any purpose, be at sit down, takeout, catering, they can do it all and they deliver it perfectly. Every time they open up a new location in Kansas City I will be there to review it and give them five stars. Keep it up!

I liked the many healthy, tasty options including wraps, bowls, salads, sandwiches, burgers, tacos, burritos, and kids meals. My chicken gyro as a salad ($8.00) tasted great, with plenty of fresh ingredients, and tasty grilled chicken. The portions were filling, and the prices were fairly reasonable, especially including the rewards program. The service at the counter was helpful and somewhat fast (nine minutes) during lunch, while the dining area was clean and nice. Very nice!

Chicken is dry and the food is just so so. They have gotten my order wrong a few times but the kids still love it.

I got a burrito that wasn't fully foiled wrapped. Asked for it to be wrapped better. Didn't get a "Sorry" or anything.

Everything I have ordered is delicious. A big step above other fast food. Takes a little longer, but worth the wait.

Good food especially the tacos. The only bad experience I had was when I ordered right before closing time and the food was sent even warm.

The menu is huge, packed with endless combinations of classic favorites and unique twists, so there's truly something for everyone. If you dine in, do not skip the complimentary chips and salsa bar. Warm, crispy chips and multiple salsas ranging from mild to "okay, I feel that" spicy--pick your poison and enjoy. Delicious all around. I've stopped in several times and keep coming back for the No. 20. It's incredibly filling and almost always leaves me with leftovers to take home (which I consider a win). Every meal has been consistently good--I haven't had a disappointing bite yet. The restaurant itself is clean and comfortable, with plenty of tables and booths. The staff is friendly and happy to help you navigate the menu if you need a little guidance. Reliable, tasty, and easy--this place is definitely worth adding to your regular rotation

We go on Taco Tuesday since most of the street tacos are $1.49 each. They have quite a few proteins to choose from and a few more that aren't on the special price. The tamales are also delicious and very reasonably priced at less than $2 each. They have puerco rojo and pollo verde. I've tried both and love both! There's also a market and in the back is a large meat market. I grabbed some Pastor to cook at home last time I visited. The only negative I have is that as a small business, they run out of certain foods so you need to be ready to change your order if you go later in the day and it's a market so the ambiance of eating there is not anything special but I many folks just get it to go. Otherwise, I really love Mi Pueblito and think it's a gem many people don't take advantage of in JoCo.

Walking in you'll find it's a very bright, cheerful atmosphere, very clean, with about ten tables (I think), and two tv's playing Spanish music. The people are nice and very efficient. Chef Joseph is phenomenal. He was manning the register when I went in. I'd never been to a Mexican & Salvadoran restaurant before. I'm familiar with Mexican American food, a little bit with truly authentic Mexican, and not at all with Salvadoran. Chef Joseph came out from behind the counter and sat at my table explaining the menu to me, the dishes, the flavor profiles. He gave suggestions on what order based on what I told him I liked. I got one of the combo dishes mainly because it offered a variety of proteins and side dishes. I also saw several more items in the menu that I knew I wanted to try on my next visit. The food was delicious! I surprised myself by finishing the whole plate. I was also delighted to find La Cocina De Mary had atole. It's a traditional cold weather drink made with masa harina, milk, and spices. My tia made it when I was a kid, so there's fond memories. This one was better ... and lucky for me tia isn't on Yelp and will never read this. They have soft drinks and a few alcohol drinks that I may try next time. The one that's a bloody mary except with beer instead of vodka sounded interesting. Next time I go, I'm taking FPO with me. This is a great little place and I hope they're there for a long time to come.

Don't judge a book by its reviews…read more.. I've done some looking at this place and felt very skeptical coming in. I wasn't even sure if I was going to enjoy myself but boy was I wrong. To start off Rafael, at the front was very funny and made it very comforting. He made conversation with us and was very accommodating. We also received free chips and queso which was my daughter's favorite! The place itself is very calm and just seems like a chill spot to come for a quick eat. I ordered the steak tacos and veggie burrito (which Rafael fixed up for me on regular price with no extra charges for adding fries). We enjoyed our food and had a great time. Everything was delicious and Rafael did a great job on making this a good time for us. I wasn't really a big fan of their horchata but they had other good drinks available. I want to add that I feel like we started receiving special treatment because they realized we were yelpies so I don't know how service is on a regular day. Altogether, I'll be coming back here again!

For 2 tacos, menudo sauce, a drink, onion, and pepper, it was about 10 dollars. That is extremely reasonable! We also enjoyed the interior because it felt home like. My favorite part was the chips and queso, which was the perfect balance of creamy and salty.
