I usually go to Twist and Shout in order to get an ice cream cone. However, today I went and got a burger. I was told that they were very good, but I never take anyone else's word for it. But I will tell you it was one of the best burgers that I've ever had. They did a great job. It was just right just the way I asked for it. Wow. Really, really, good burger and fries! We stopped in Norwalk and asked a cashier where the best burger in town was, and she sent us here. Lol. We pulled up to what looks like any roadside ice cream stand. We ordered at walk up window, and they delivered to our car. Huge burger, couldn't finish. Friendly staff. It's two meals, lol. This was a fantastic find on our way up to Lake Erie. We got gas across the street and considered just getting some food at the gas station. Well, I'm glad we decided against that. The setup is a little unique. It is a drive-thru but there is no intercom. You order at the window and then they just tell you to pull into a parking spot. The wait wasn't too bad although we had a screaming toddler in the backseat so the wait seemed to last longer than I would have liked. My wife and I both ordered double cheeseburgers and opted to share fries. I really wasn't expecting anything special, but little did I know that I was in for a treat. The double cheeseburger was bigger than expected and we both realized that we probably could have just ordered the single. The burger ranks up there with some of the best burgers I've had. The toppings were simple. You can get tomato, lettuce, onion, ketchup, mustard and mayo (I think). The burger was cooked to perfection. The bun was toasted and buttery. Now, the fries were just average to me. They were similar to "fair" fries with the skin still on the fries. Those just aren't my favorite style of fries. They also have ice cream. I got a soft serve twist ice cream cone. I don't think I've really ever tasted any major difference between soft serve twist ice cream. This was just like everywhere else which was delicious. My wife got a peach milkshake and said it was good. It wasn't the best peach milkshake she's had but it was still good. This place was a great find and although I rarely drive through this area, I will definitely make a stop here if I do drive through here. read more

I consider myself to be a good/excellent burger cook. People always request my burgers when they come for dinner. I'm always trying new techniques and unique ingredients. I'm never satisfied when I order a burger at a resturant, I always feel I could make it better. However, twist and shout make a phenomenal burger, its not fancy nor do they have exotic ingredients, they just make a darn near perfect. Old fashioned hamburger. The five stars for the hamburger alone. I stopped by yesterday for lunch with my son and was incredibly pleasantly surprised. The best traditional burger I've had in the area. The patties were hand pressed and placed on a soft brioche bun. The lettuce was a butterhead variety, not just a boring iceberg. Both the pickles and the tomato were thickly cut. In fact, I actually removed the tomato because it was about as thick as the burger patty and that's too much for my taste. The lady working the window said it came with ketchup and mustard (which would be fine with me) but instead it seemed more like a special sauce of some sort. Overall, an top notch burger and in a place you'd never suspect. The fries were also good and a rather unique cut, but my malt was too icy. Regardless, I'll be going back regularly as long as the burgers are always that awesome! read more

I Love the food don't get me wrong, however I have never met a group of teen girl workers that were this rude. They were clearly full of themselves and continually rolled their eyes as a group of two needed each other to put the order in. The one girl kept audibly saying to her co worker that she couldn't hear what we were saying even though we were speaking very clearly and not asking us to repeat kindly instead saying "what?!" I really hope the managers of this store either fire all the teen girls or call their mothers to whip them into shape read more

I have enjoyed several things at Twist and Shout. The mozzarella sticks, onion rings, french fries, and the ice cream, but the best by far is the burger. A thick 1/4 pound patty inside of a soft brioche bun is better than anything you would expect from a quick ice cream shop. The toppings are not only fresh but are tasty, the tomato actually tasted like a tomato, unlike what you get from some fast food places. The pickles had a good crunch and the mustard and ketchup paired well with the meat, while not making the bun too soggy. Another treat is their ice cream flavor of the week I recommend the raspberry and the blue raspberry if they have it. Looking forward to a long summer of trying new things. read more
