I was greeted promptly with a smile. Note - I get really anxious with getting my hair done because I know for a cut and highlights I am going to blow $140 plus ... a chunk of change for me. So I'm a call of nerves asking sheepishly for what I want .. that will hopefully grow out well. Anyway - Cue Kayla (spelling?) Master colorist? I'm easy to please but hard to impress with hair care. Plus the chairs are comfy! Very stinkin happy. Will be back to ask for her! Take a chance and try them out!

Though it was on file, they somehow could not figure out verification so I ended up not going in for the appointment. So, this was a little irritating especially since everything was fine last time. They evidently are sticklers for the insurance card in hand and it would have been nice to been informed of that. I have forgotten medical insurance cards in the past or had outdated cards but in all cases I have received the service with the medical office figuring out the current policy numbers, etc. The service I received the first appointment was fine and nothing negative to say about it. Just didn't appreciate the inflexibility at the desk. Didn't feel like they cared that they were turning me away, so to that I say 'see ya'.

I had one of the worst salon experiences I've ever had. My nails were done less than 24 hours ago,…read moreand they're already in this condition. I booked my appointment two days in advance with two specific nail technicians who were recommended to me, but when we arrived, they didn't honor our booking and assigned us to different technicians without telling us beforehand. I went with my niece, and while her nail tech did a beautiful job, mine was absolutely horrible. I booked because I fell in love with a nail design that was featured on Lux Nails & Spa's own website. I showed my nail lady the exact photo and asked for that design on both my nails and my toes. She told me she couldn't do it on my toes because the flower was thick or something of that nature, so I said that was fine and agreed to a French pedicure. I was under the impression I was still getting the design on my fingernails. We spent about two hours in the salon. It wasn't until my builder gel was already finished that she finally told me the girl who created the design didn't work there anymore. I even suggested changing the design to just half yellow half pink like the pinky on the picture and she said they didn't have that yellowmake it work, and that I should just do plain pink. At that point, I felt completely stuck. If I had been told before the service started that they couldn't recreate the design they advertise on their own website, I never would have agreed to any services. The workmanship was just as disappointing. I paid for the # 2 pedicure and she brought out the hot stones for 20 seconds on my leg. There was no cuticle care on my hands or feet, my heels were barely touched, the builder gel is thick and uneven, the French tips are sloppy, and there is polish on my skin. The photos speak for themselves. We spent $263.96 at this salon.

This place is trash. We made appointments the day before. I specifically asked for mani and pedi- I…read morewanted them done at the same time because of my schedule. When I got there, I sat down. The tech didn't even introduce himself. He found out I was from California and berated California the entire time and kept making snide comments. I asked several times about having the pedicure done at the same time and I was told that they couldn't do that because "we're not like California people come here to relax"- although I saw many staff and we're sitting around doing nothing. when I was done, I asked for a receipt that was itemized and they refused to give it to me. They upcharged my nine year-old niece and cut her cuticles so badly that she was bleeding in two places Upon check out at the desk, I insisted on a receipt which created dialogue with a man who wouldn't even look at me. He had tattoos and he was very short with me. He behaved like he didn't wanna be there when I kept persisting with the conversation. A customer started cursing me out telling me to get the F out and calling me several names. The staff did nothing to stop the situation. Tech left paint on my hands on my fingers and when I asked him to remove it he got the clippers out and started clipping my skin with the paint attached to it. Is this the way it's done in this part of the country? Terrible. Just so uncivilized and gross.
