She made rude comments to him and about the doctors that had referred us to this facility. She told us the worst part of the procedure was going to be the numbing, which my son said he didn't think worked because he felt every move she made and it was nothing short of torture. Her bedside manner was horrible, the procedure was rough and painful and she would not give him any pains meds other than OTC, even though she made his pain worse. Had she explained truthfully what was going to happen we would not have let her continue.

I want to start by saying Dr Choquette is a great doctor! He always returns calls and is very…read morewilling to answer questions and makes time to see you when possible. However, their billing department and reception staff - not so much. In order to make an appointment for nasal surgery - which I still had lots of questions about - they made me write out a check to "hold my place" this check was for the remainder of my deductible. AKA a lot of money! This check that was going to "hold my spot" was deposited after I explicitly asked if it was going to be and was told it was only going to be cashed AFTER the surgery. The whole process was very confusing. You actually need to go into the office to make the appointment and to drop of said check. So I needed to take PTO to do this - the whole process took 1.5 hours! Each time I asked a question of the reception staff they made me feel like an idiot for not knowing the answer and acted like I was questioning them - I was just confused, nervous and scared. They also had the wrong insurance card stapled to my paper work - when I asked them to confirm they called the correct insurance I was very rudely answered that they already have called and I just needed to give her the check and sit down. Finally I got to sit with a nurse for 30 seconds where she told me I couldn't have the surgery for a couple months OR next week - my choice. No questions were answered and I walked out of there dazed and confused. So I'm out a bunch of cash, my nose hurts and I'm patiently waiting for my surgery date.
