I figured it was past the 30 days but if they were wrong they were wrong. The manager checked them and agreed. Then he changed his mind and gave us a story about formulas used and they were right. He got snotty and condescending. After my husband and he got into an argument and then he said he will order them but they will be the same. I know other people who have had trouble with his attitude. Not a good way to keep business.

Now on the day of the appointment they are saying I can't because my last eye exam was more than 60 days, DAYS and that I would have to pay $89 more to be seen. No mention of this previously and the person that booked my appointment was all "I assumed" this and "I assumed" that. Didn't apologize or take responsibility for not checking things that she as the employee would know was required or not. No effort to work with me on a solution. I wasted my time and gas.

The first eye doctor on their list in Duluth was Blustin. So I called as I was driving north and spoke with a very pleasant associate, Jessica, who patiently listened to my dilemma. She said that all their appts the next day were booked, but she'd get me on the waiting list. Good enough... she called, there was a cancellation! I was stoked... It was time for my annual eye exam anyways. The entire staff was extremely friendly during my appointment. The appt was timely. The office may not have had as many bells and whistles as some other offices I've been in on the West Coast, but...I felt as though the doctor was definitely more thorough and more knowledgeable. Clearly they care for each of their patients, as you'd expect from a small town office. I didn't check out the frames this visit as I was only there for contacts and my visit went fast. But... The doctor is always friendly and ready to answer any questions I may have. I've never felt rushed so that he can see his next patient. It is truly a great place to be seen. I pop in once in a while to have my glasses tightened and the staff in the front always greets me and is ready to tighten them and clean them. There is a pleasant "goodbye" too as you're leaving the office. I would highly recommend.
