Close to my office, so once in a while I will go for lunch during the weekday. I don't think I've ever been there during "party" times (evenings or weekends), so I don't know what the atmosphere is like then. But, it looks to me like it might get a little rowdy - they have a big portion of the parking lot by the door blocked off for motorcycles. Nothing wrong with that, but really more of a guys hangout than a place to take your kids. Food is hearty and not bad. Didn't like the steak salad - very bland. But the other stuff I've had there, including a Cobb salad, was actually pretty good. The waitresses are generally very attractive - I'd rate them a cut above say your typical Hooters. As a rule, the service is OK. I've had a couple of servers who were definitely relying on their looks to get by, but the other times I've gone the servers do pretty well. read more

Went there tonight for Royals game and have to say that Jordan did really great! The same could not be said for John 'the worthless owner' he was extremely rude. We were waiting for a few of our friends to show and he came to our tabke and said he had a full house and if our friends didn't show that he would be seating people at our table, which he did. I had been there since 4 drinking and saving a spot. Then I overheard him tell the table behind us that they needed to buy dessert or needed to leave. A friend of mine recommended we come here yesterday to watch the KU vs. Texas game. I had never been so I figured why not? We got there about 45 min before tip-off bc we weren't sure how packed it would get. I had the Dirty Blonde (I think that's what it was called) house beer and I liked it. It reminded me of a Blue Moon. We ordered the pulled pork nachos, quesadillas, and the queso dip to start. The nachos were huge. I really liked it until I realized there were chopped pickles on it... (I hate pickles!) I kind of had to eat around it. The tangy BBQ sauce they put on it was good though. I didn't eat any of the other appetizers, but the quesadillas were pretty well stuffed from the looks of it - not your usual flattened tortilla sandwich. My friends said it tasted alright. The queso dip was also mediocre according to them. I did taste the chicken and shrimp basket and thought that was pretty good. I like how the fries are big and nicely seasoned. Service-wise our experience was average. This place is like Hooters with a little more skin. Oh, and there really wasn't a need to come super early before the game. I've been to Twin Peaks at least 20 times. Most girls are friendly, most are cute but the some aren't. Your experience will depend on which server you get. The drinks are decent, prices on the higher side. The food is ok, the menu is limited specially for bar food. The chicken fried steak is good, pork sliders are good and their salads are good. The owner is often walking the floor and he engages customers. It's a good place to watch games and the sound is pretty good. read more

We had a group of four in our party and this was our first visit to Twin Peaks.We arrived at 7:05 pm. Three of our group were smokers so they stayed outside to smoke while I went inside to get a table. I was greeted by Becca at the hostess station and told that there would be a short delay. I asked what her definition of a short delay was and she looked over to Ashlyn (sp) who indicated that there would be a 15-20 minute wait. I told her that would be fine as it would give us time to finish smoking. I gave my name to Becca along with the number of persons in our party and indicated that we would be outside waiting to be called. I then went outside to join the others in my group to wait to be called. I made a quick stop at another store next door (15 minutes shopping) and returned to find my party inside still waiting to be called. I went to the hostess stand (7:35 pm) to see where we were on the list because one of our party members said that three other groups that arrived AFTER us had already been seated. When I asked Ashlyn (sp) how much longer the wait would be, she asked my name. When I told her, she said that there wasn't anyone on the list waiting by my name. I explained to her what had transpired and she said that she wasn't the one that worked the hostess stand. I indicated that we had already waited the 20 minutes+ that she had indicated the wait time was. Becca came back towards the stand and proceeded to walk past us totally ignoring us. I indicated to Ashlyn (sp) the she was the person that I had interacted with earlier. Ashlyn waited for Becca to come to the hostess stand and told her the situation. She gave NO REASON why my name was NOT on the list. I obviously wasn't happy by that response because Ashlyn indicated to me that I didn't need to have that kind of attitude. As Becca was waiting for a table to open, Ashlyn indicated that she could have put us at the bottom of the list. After another 10 minute wait, we were seated at a table by the kitchen. As far as reviewing the waitress (Megan), she was terrific. Very prompt with our drink order and made sure to explain the various dishes. Megan's attitude and professionalism was extremely instrumental in changing our attitudes towards that way we had been treated. As far as the food, IT WAS DELICIOUS, hot and prompt. My rating for this review is totally based on the front of the house. I would rate the food and wait staff as a 5 star. As we were leaving the bar, Becca and Ashlyn sarcastically expressed for us to have a GOOOOOOOD night and to come again. read more

Been here a handful of times and always a positive experience. My first time there I expected the food to be below average but was pleasantly surprised that the food was very tasty. TVs galore, but if the Royals are playing, expect to see almost every TV tuned to that (but any other sports bar would be the same way). Beer is always cold, they have a temp reading on the wall. Service has always been great, whether it was four of us during busy Friday dinner, two of us in middle of the afternoon (only time I would've called it "slow" in there), three of us for a late night drink, or a group of 15 for Sunday lunch. Oh and the girls there are amazing, check out the Facebook page and you can see the ladies. They know the deal, they know they are eye candy and they will flirt with you, but they provide as good of service (if not better) as any other restaurant. Also almost every time I've been there, a manager would make the rounds, and ask how everything was. Only negative thing about this place is some of the other customers. Most people are respectful but there are some guys that seem to come in there thinking it's a strip club or something, but the girls there all take it in stride. I recommend the hangover burger with either the blonde or brunette beers. read more

I've been there several times (Hate to give a review based on just one experience). First off, every time I've been there, this place has been PACKED! Never seen it less than 90% full. There's a reason for this. Twin Peaks excels in all aspects of their business. The food is very good for this type of place, the prices are reasonable, although not cheap, the service is generally better than most sports bars, and of course the scenery is top notch. This is more than just common burgers and wings, try the Pot Roast, or the Poblano Chicken, they are as good as you would find in a more upscale restaurant. The burgers are actually one of the most underwhelming things on the menu. They are pretty good, freshly prepared and large portion, but a little bland for some reason. So far, an "Average" burger is the worst thing I've had there. The Mile High Club is another winner, and is a HUGE sandwich! I have to give kudos to whoever designed the place. It's a nice atmosphere with a unique style and loads of TV's. They have coldest beer on tap in the City, and their own brews are pretty good. I like the Knotty Brunette. I have to also give a shout-out to the woman who manages the servers. (We call her the House Mother-LOL) She's inconspicuous, but always keeping an eye on things, and has done a great job training the girls and keeping service standards up. In most other places like this, I'm usually "invisible" and struggle to get waited on and forgotten when it comes to followup from a server. No so, here. Regardless of the server, they have routinely made me feel welcome and have made small talk, while suggesting I try different things and asking how everything is. I've never gone home feeling neglected or in any way dissatisfied with the service. Although the servers usually dress in the khaki shorts and lumberjack shirts, they like to mix it up once in a while and seem to have fun with it. Back to School week they were in Catholic Schoolgirl uniforms and one week they had Hawaiian Luau week, and there was Party Like a Pirate week. You get the idea. Sure they are selling T&A just like Hooters, but this place is far and above Hooters in every area. Better food, better beer, better atmosphere, better service, better scenery. I would come here just for the food if they didn't have the "scenery" but let's not let them get any ideas... LOL Don't believe the haters... This place rocks!! read more

I rarely ever complain about restaurant service because I believe servers are people too, make mistakes and have bad days, but for some reason this incident got to me. I have been there in the past with other couple and the food and service was good. On 8/24/17 however was a different experience. My girlfriend and I went there for lunch, yes we are a gay couple. First we were told our server's name would be Sabrina. Well, a girl named Kelsey greet us and took our order. Next, a different server brings out of drinks and other one bring out of appetizer. Kelsey did bring out our food. We were not checked the whole time we were there. I saw Kelsey sit in the booth in front of us and talk to that customer. When she got up she did not even come by our table. We did not get any refills either. I never play the gay card, but my vibes tell me she did not want to wait us. Okay, whatever, just ask someone else too. My girlfriend and I are excellent tippers, but that day we were not. What really me is when we observed our server with other customers while ignoring us. If Twin Peaks does not want to served women or gays then they need to let people know that. read more

I have been going to this restaurant for 3 years now. It seems that every time i visit there the food gets worse. The portions get smaller and the price stays the same or goes up. I took my 2 boys and a co worker there last Thursday because my one son was going back to college this weekend. My co worker and myself ordered the fish and chips. I got 4 pieces of fish, he got 3. They were the same size fish and they were greasy and the fries were cold. my 2 sons ordered the chicken sandwich. 3 of us got our food in a reasonable time. My one sons chicken sandwich came about 5 minutes later and it had no sweet potato fries. They came about 3 minutes later. The fried pickles, which use to be great and came in a big basket, now come in a little pot and I think we got the bottom of the bag because there was a lot of batter but few pickles and the pickles that were there pieces. About ready to abort the Peaks. read more
