I'm not from TX, so I never really caught on... Twin Peaks... but when I got inside, it aaaaaaallll made sense. This is an upscale Hooters at best. The food is pretty good, considering. TONS of TVs to accommodate all of your sporting entertainment needs. Nice COLD beer and beautiful girls at your service. The double stacked pulled pork nachos are just ok... It's not double stacked and like most nachos, there's a lot more chips than topping to scoop. The chicken tenders are great and the mozzarella cheese bits are pretty good as well! My first visit. Took a bit to be seated, but waitress checked on us quickly. She didn't fit what I expected...she was not engaging, and didn't seem very excited to be there. I found the millionaire bacon burger (if I remember the name correctly) and my wife ordered a Cobb salad. The burger was outstanding, and my wife really enjoyed her salad. She snagged a bite of my bacon from my burger and liked it so much, she ordered an appetizer of bacon to go with her salad. I left very pleased with my meal, and was surprised by my wife when I asked her if she'd come back and she said she would. She is gluten intolerant, and gluten free options are lacking on the menu, but the salad won her over. Hopefully next time, the service will be a little more upbeat and enjoyable read more

Waited for everything from the moment we walked in. I had to go take silverware and napkins from another table. Drinks were so slow I didn't even order a second. Coworkers ordered drinks that never got put in. Two of us ordered the pot roast / don't recommend it. The ones that ordered steak said their meal was pretty good. Well opened a few weeks ago and thought we gave them time to get it together. Arrived with a party of 8 and immediately sat down however we did get here at opening. There is a growing line though now. Food was okay. Was not the impressed. Actually more concerned about the service. Everyone got their food at different times with 3-4 mins between took about 20-25 mins for all the food to completely come out. My grilled onions were literally cold. Nothing was warm or fresh about them. Had to ask the server three times to fill our glasses and now sitting here without any ice in them. Hoping to try again next them again next month. Will let y'all know then Update. Went there tonight BC boss was there and wanted to talk. Sat down and right off the bat a blonde manager asked me what I was drinking. My coworker and I decided to give twin peaks a try yesterday...and we were both glad we did. Being both female we were a little intimidated walking in, it was predominately male. But we forged forward and so glad we did. Our server was amazing, she made sure we had everything we needed. And our food was awesome! My coworker had the Cobb salad, the grilled chicken on it was perfectly done! I had the turkey avocado mash sandwich with sweet potato fries and a Greek salad. Decor is pretty cool like a giant log cabin. Very short menu comprised of burgers, a few homey staples ,and beer, they take extra pride in their tap beer which they keep at 29 degrees. This is cool but it does lead to an iceberg in your beer which when it melts...well who loves watery beer? They also call their sizes "man size" and "girl size". I get it, but boarding on sexism. The restaurant has been open only for a week so i'll be critical but nice. The place itself is beautiful and the waitstaff was professional and nice. There were no normal startup problems i could tell like not getting orders right or not knowing the sections. Good training. Only complaint was with the food itself. Venison chili was excellent. Fish tacos had good flavor but they way way way overcooked the fish. It was tough and flavorless. Bread pudding was great but the icecream served with it was probably the most generic, tasteless, plain, cheapest vanilla ice cream ive ever tasted. Hopefully they will correct at least the fish cooking in the future. Great experience otherwise. Update: tried more items and nothing has impressed me. Burger was ok, nothing to write home about. Was looking forward to finding a good meatloaf here but it looked and tasted like something from a frozen dinner. Blahhhh. read more

Smoked brisket tacos were awesome and service was good. However, a failing grade for management. There was a large out-of-control group who should have been asked to leave. While they were extremely loud and annoying, my issue is that they completely ignored the social distancing and face mask requirement while moving throughout the establishment. Unfortunately, my table was in the path between their table and the bar. Multiple times I had drunk, unmasked individuals within a couple feet of my table as I am trying to eat. I asked my server why they are allowed to continue. She said they had asked them to stop, but they ignored it. Not a sign of a manager anywhere. I frequent this breastaurant in Austin often. Due to my overbearing enthusiasm for this chain, I can speak frankly. Half of the food we ordered was great; the other mediocre. Some requests were ignored. What really got me flusteted was the service. You expect a center level of charm from a lady show casing her goods for an over-than-average tip, but to be grossly neglected, is well... disappointing. I travel a lot and usually alone. I'm 59 years old educated retired military. I often eat at the bar in restaurants because I am alone and don't want to sit by myself or take up a table for 4 when it's just me. That said if I eat at this location and get a table, I get my drink and dinner without producing a credit card and running a tab first. If I go to the bar I'm asked for a credit card before I even order. That's the sign of a low class joint. I can go to Papadeauxs across the street and and not asked for a card up front. Twin peaks should up its game. If it were a dive bar it might be different but it's not the kind of place where folks get drunk and wander off without paying the tab. I'm told it's just policy. It was a Friday night and we expected it to be much busier than it was. Should have been our first clue! Quick to order and our food was quick to come which is great but all down hill from there! No silverware on table and took about 10 minutes for them to bring it to us, so good was cold by the time we got it.
