Had a WONDERFUL TIME last night with the wife for a little birthday celebration! What could be better than a little beer and axe throwing!!!???!!! The staff did a great job of talking us through how to throw and within minutes we felt like pros! We were able to reserve online beforehand and we walked in and began at our scheduled time! I would recommend this to anyone regardless of skill level. It was really fun!!! Can't wait to go again with friends!

We can't remember our Axepert's name, but he was great. Overall, it's a 10/10! We had an absolute blast. We had a group of 12 and I was a little nervous that while we waited our turn we'd be bored, but we were far from it. We were very engaged and it brought out the competitive nature we all had! The games we played were so much fun! The experience was definitely one we won't forget. The only negative I have is that it's rather pricey. $25 a head is a little more than we thought it would be when we booked. Had some pitchers of tea or water been included, I may feel differently, but to stand around and throw axes only, Its a bit steep. I think there would be a higher return rate (from our group at least) if it was a little more reasonable per person for what's included. All in all, we had a fantastic night!

Had a great time! Went around 9:30 pm on a Friday night and didn't have to wait. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Well worth it.

Had a great time throwing axes. Booking online made it easy to get a lane, and the staff couldn't have been any nicer.

We love to do brunch on Sunday's and John the bartender is one of our favorites. He is very personable, friendly, on top of his game, and takes really great care of us. The server assigned to our table was openly hostile toward me from the start and made comments and gestures that felt mocking and aggressive. She made it clear she did not want to serve me and did not return to our table until another staff member was flagged down. At no point did I feel welcomed or treated professionally. I was there with friends for a birthday celebration, and despite that, I felt uncomfortable enough that I had to leave early for my own peace of mind. No guest should feel singled out or intimidated while dining. I'm sharing this because the food itself was solid, but the service issue was serious enough that I hope management addresses it so no one else has a similar experience. To be noted: This occurred on January 8, 2026, beginning at about 6:30 PM.

Big room with a tall ceiling, big seating capacity, large number of TV screens, including a VERY big screen on the freeway side of the room. And yes, sports on the TVs, but the cantina doesn't feel like a bar. Emphasis is on the food, not the drinks. And the food is mostly Mexican food, not much American bar food. The selection is smaller than what you'd get at Elena's or Casa Ole. On the other hand, this is a place to come with your buddies to hang out after work, whether to watch the game or not, and have some food on the side. I was trying to decide between the super burrito and fajitas. Reyse told me that the burrito is the most popular. I went with the beef fajitas. And they were good. The beef was pretty tender, and had a strong taste to it. Put the beef, sauteed onions & peppers, and rice & beans into the tortilla, and you're good to go. The quality is up there with most Mexican restaurants. As for Reyse, she was good, professional, and friendly. I went to Modelos its first year in operation, for an early lunch. As I was leaving, a lot more people were coming in. I wonder what it's like when a big game is on, like Texas v. Oklahoma, or the Astros trying to get into the playoffs, it's probably filled with people. With the high ceilings, I think that it might get loud but not uncomfortably loud. Modelos appears to be a hit in Beaumont. Yeah, even if you don't like sports, it's worth going to Modelos to get some high-quality south-of-the-border grub at a normal price. Go on over to get this party started.

We sat at our table for more than 20 minutes waiting on someone to at least ask us if we wanted water! The wait staff kept walking by us, making eye contact, yet nobody waited on us. This was our 1st trip into this restaurant, we were excited to try it. NEVER AGAIN! They weren't busy!! Our 1st impression wasnt a good one. First, the hostess acted ticked we were even in their establishment! I thought maybe "it's just a bad day for her, let it go ..." Next, we were seated only to wait for our waitress to NOT wait on us ... at all. After a long wait. we left and vowed to never be back. I called to let the manager know they may want to pay attention to their establishment. The call got quiet and we got "I'm sorry ... the manager - she stepped out" And here we are days later - still waiting on that call back! Hey, manager! You may want to teach your team "teamwork"
