Food is crazily expensive!! I ordered the mozzarella sticks, a burger and some chicken strips. The amount of money I spent for 3 items not even good quality food was 70 dollars not including the tip. The burger was okay, chicken strips were not good at all, the mozzarella are definitely over hyped good but way to greasy and the best food item I had gotten was the mac and cheese on the side of my chicken strips. The waitress was sweet, but did talk too much felt like I had to have a full conversation with her instead of actually ordering my food. I do appreciate friendly service workers although i'm hungry let me order then we can chit-chat!! Really nice inside love the lighting and atmosphere. Called this location about 5 minutes before 11am to place an order and was told they would not take it, they didn't open until 11. It was a big order for a lunch meeting so that's why I didn't place it online. I found a much friendlier place that wanted my business. read more

Last night I went into this restaurant to have supper. I usually dine here at least once a week. I sat down and waited 20 minutes for my waitress to come take my order. 10 minutes later another waitress came and asked me if I had ordered a coke. She then brought it to me. I sat there for another 30 minutes, watching everyone around me get their food. Finally, my waitress came and questioned "Why don't you have your food yet?" She went to the back and then returned telling me that my food had been sitting there ready for 20 minutes, and that they were going to have to reheat it, and then send it out. At that point I told the waitress that I was good, and I got up and left. The whole experience left me feeling like this establishment doesn't care about their repeat patrons, and that whoever is managing this place basically allows their waitstaff to do as they please. Horrible. Ordered a $60.00 delivery to work for lunch and when it arrived they gave us the skillet queso instead of the white queso AND no chips. When I called to let them know the girl said "did you order it in door dash" I replied no it was through yalls app. She said....hold on. No apology or anything and when she came back she said we can write your name down for next time or you can come get it now. OBVIOUSLY wouldn't have had it delivered if we had to come get it regardless. I was honestly shocked. She never apologized or anything and was rude. They ABSOLUTELY can not get a to go order correct. Eating inside is not too bad. They do make a really good margarita ( I have to give them that). The food is pretty good, but I am not kidding 95% of the to go orders I have gotten have had something wrong. I order to go quite a bit because of 12 hour shifts at work. Bar area- people are allowed to smoke INSIDE. This is so offensive to nonsmokers and people who actually want to live out their full lifespan. I understand this is small town Orange and we are a little behind the times but in this case we need to get with the program if we care about the health of the community. So I live in Los Angeles, and I thought I'd order dinner for my folks in Orange. I called in the order, and they wouldn't take my card number over the phone, and said they'd take my card when I arrived. This is new as I've given my card before over the phone with Chili's, but fine. New protocol. Whatever. I told the girl on the phone the situation and she said "just go to the website and order". So I did, and the website was a shitshow. Every time I tried to put an item in cart it gave me an error. So I basically sent my Mom to go pick up for for her to pay for. Cool, cool. Oh and then, you'll love this, I call back and explain what happened to the girl on the phone and she says "Yeah, your Mom came in and paid for it", to which I responded "Ok well can you put it back on her card and maybe take my card number, this is just really awkward and I'd like to fix it. By the way your website is a mess." She said "Again, sorry, we can't take the card number over the phone for security reasons" and then also admitted "yeah we know the website is a mess. Lots of people are having problems." This is comically bad customer service, and a perfect way to lose a large tip. Being one of the few restaurants in Orange with an extensive menu and a bar, it is unfortunate that this Chili's is not a more inviting establishment. We arrived for dinner last night and were welcomed with temperatures one would find in a refrigerator. The floor was full of trash, including the remains of a cigarette, which was still there when we left. It took more than 10 minutes to get a drink. After we ordered, we were informed that that they were out of quinoa, which came with one of the dishes. This is fine, but to replace the quinoa with something that wasn't already on the plate, there would be an extra fee. Our server was pleasant, although not very attentive. The food was OK, and on par with what one would expect from Chili's. The manager needs to put more attention into the store. read more

I'm not sure how to feel about this place because its inconsistent as #&!* Let's be honest, the only reason I repeatedly come here is because Orange, Texas seriously lacks in restraunts that serve a vast variety of foods & drinks.... so Chili's has turned into that place to have a low key "girl's night", family outing or quick date. I eat here more than I'd like to admit... and every single time it's a different outcome. I've had times where the food taste simply amazing with spectacular service.... then there are times that have been so horrid I've ended up getting free meals and apologies. I think it all boils down to whose cooking in the back and who you end up with as your waitress/waiter. I can say the two times I've had any major issue the manager on duty went above and beyond to make the situation right. It got started a little rough as the hostess seemed a little slow and unmotivated to do much. Lots of standing around while you could see tables that needed to be cleaned, etc... meanwhile, she had 3-4 groups of people waiting. That was a little disappointing. There are only a couple of people that work here that are why I come back and they are both bartenders, and honestly the only good service I have had here is from them. So if Drew or Peaches are not tending bar, don't bother staying. I should've heeded the reviews. Started off great. Host was friendly. Server took a little longer to get to us initially but no worries, we aren't super picky. Got our order in and all...everything was fine. Meals came out after a bit of a wait and the server apologized for the delay, saying he didn't want to keep my burger back there waiting any longer just getting cold. He said they were still waiting on fries--which I didn't have with the meal. About 5 minutes later my fries showed up. I had asked for another drink then. Probably 5 minutes or so went by, still no drink. I had to waive him down to get that. That was kind of par for the course with the guy. Even after we had eaten our side salads we didn't see him again until our meals came. He hadn't asked if we were ok or removed our salad plates--which made for a little awkwardness when he brought our food and was trying to negotiate where to put it on our little two person table. Another thing that got me with the server is when I pointed out to him that there were cucumbers on my burger. He told me they weren't cucumbers but were their home made pickles. They were cucumbers, and I corrected him and just told him it was fine and I didn't want to argue about it, I was just letting him know. By this time I was almost done with the burger. I think some more server training is needed at the location. We like chilis and will only be in town for a week. Chili's Bar & Grill serves excellent Tex-Mex type food. Their prices are reasonable for the fine quality of food your recieve. the service is prompt and courteous. They also offer "call-ahead seating" so if you are in a hurry or bringing a large number of people, call them and they will have your table waiting when you arrive. (Pleas be courteous yourself, and arrive on time so as not to "hold up" their tables and wait staff, as it would be sad to see them stop this wonderful service.) read more

There is an awesome variety of foods, friendly service, and a very relaxed environment. I go to Chili's at least once a week.
