This is a very good Mexican restaurant in Orange. Food is always great and always a great treat anytime.

I am originally from Orange and visit occasionally. Surprisingly, I had not tried Mi Casa until today. Had a delightful experience. I had the Tacos al Carbon and my wife had Tortilla Soup. Both meals were generous portions and delicious. Also loved the warm red sauce served with the goods at the beginning. Our server, Carlos, eas great too. My wife and I tried this place for the first time and we were not impressed. The best thing that I can say is that the tortilla chips were fresh and warm. Everything else, however, did not deserve my praise. I would like to say that I loved the food, but I just can't. Have been a regular customer here for a long time and has been a favorite! Ate here today and the portions are greatly reduced. Food was still good. The weight staff was friendly but not great. Most were not wearing their masks properly. Most patrons not wearing masks at all. I would not go back knowing they care nothing about safe protocols. I have gone to Mi Casa many times and I love their chicken quesadilla. But their service lately is bad. It took them 30 min to bring a half order and while I waited I asked for more salsa and the waitress took my empty bowl and never returned. While not always "perfect", no one is, the management and staff always provide the best customer service and correct any problems with a smile. Things I didn't like about this restaurant: 1) The food was very bland. The person in the review previous to mine talked about how good the Chicken Diablo was so that's what I ordered. It had absolutely no flavor. I dined with three other friends who ordered different entrees & they said the same about their food. 2) Paying for queso. That always takes it down a notch for me, especially if it's not even that good. Other than those two things it wasnt a BAD experience so I'd say overall this restaurant definitely only deserves three stars. Just moved in town and by the grace of God he gave me a legit Mexican restaurant in Orange, Tx but had to take two stars away because they tried to charge me $1.50 for a side of sour cream and Walmart's across the street also they didn't give me any utensils to eat with..sorry that's aweful customer service in my book.. read more

Had the worst experience here ever. I blame it entirely on an incompetent waitress. We had a birthday party for a friend here and the entire meal took us about 3 hours to get through (with only 7 people at our table) because the waitress ignored us. We had to ask for our tickets 4 or 5 times with different waitresses. I ended up getting up and trying to pay at the bar. When our tickets finally got to the table, they were all completely wrong. Many of us were charged for 2 or even 3 drinks we did not order! When I tried to pay she came back and told me my card was denied, so I gave her another card. I checked both bank accounts today and I was charged twice! I will NEVER EVER go back there after that terrible experience. Also food was not authentic. Tasted more like taco bell than anything I wanted to pay thirty dollars for! read more
