Especially my pin number. My last contract in Waco I came here all the time because 1) I didn't know Specs was here and 2) I didn't know Spec's was here!. I went one more time today to see if it had improved any. Again no greeting when I come in this very small location. I wandered around for 15 minutes checking the beer wine n liquor selection. Not 1 perrson offered to help or even say anything to me at all which has been the same on all my visits. If you enjoy wine you will probably be satisfied with selection. If you are looking for beer n liquor not so much. Tend to have the small bottles of liquor and the big bottle. Not many of the mid size bottles at all. Beer selection is OK. Prices compared to Specs about .50-75 cents more. Liquor $1-2 more If you are coming to just get 1 or 2 items it probably won't matter so much. If you are coming for supplies or service go to Specs. To get right to the point, you will not find cheaper spirits in Waco. The only thing that comes close is Discorte's Tuesday and Wednesday discounts. If you look closely, you'll find some fantastic deals. Citadelle gin, one of the finest available, has been remarkably underpriced for nearly a year now. Blanton's is also surprisingly cheap. The second, and I think equally important, advantage to Ward's is the helpfullness of the staff. The same people are always there, eager to help. They quickly become familiar faces and always recognize their frequent customers. The only disadvantage to this store is a lack of selection and/or inventory. Although I am able to find most every brand, it's occasionally difficult to find variety of sizes of certain brands. Their liquer and mixer section is also limited. Even so, they fit an amazing amount of variety in this small store. I highly recommend Ward Liquor. It's worth the drive even if you don't live in North Waco.

The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I always spend too much because they are always well stocked. Although this is a small location, they have a quality selection of beer and I am very picky about my beer. I drive past Twin Liquor and all the mom n pop liquor spots in Waco to come here. Wish we had them in Ohio.
