January 2021 All…read moreValley Home Care 5 star rating, Home Care We were researching Home Care and Skilled Nursing facilities for a family member requiring long term 24/7 care and discovered All Valley Home Care. We decided All Valley was the best possible alternative for our loved one. Owned and operated by husband and wife care giving team Doru and Gigi Gheaburcu - are skilled, knowledgeable, friendly, caring, personable caregivers providing residents with a beautiful, spotless, personalized and socialized homecare setting. Ranging from simple assisted living to the highest level of care required and medication management Doru and Gigi, along with the house Skilled Nurse Marilyn Durbin, are kind, attentive and work hard to specifically tailor, monitor and adjust to the needs of the resident. Doru and Gigi serve three hot, delicious and varied home cooked meals plus healthful snacks every day. We can tell you the residents appreciate the home cooking - especially if they've come from an institutional setting like a hospital, rehab or skilled nursing facility. We especially appreciate the caregiver to resident ratio - 1:5 at All Valley vs. what we found at most skilled nursing/caregiving alternatives at 1:18, 1:19 or higher ratio. We found this to be is especially important for residents requiring attention/assistance for everyday activities - feeding, sitting, standing, dressing, bathing, etc. In support of the caregivers are on-call doctors, therapists, physical/occupational therapy, social workers, a chaplain - really any service you could think of. We found All Valley to offer the perfect combination of care and service for our family member. We would easily recommend All Valley Home Care to family and friends in need of assisted living/any level of home care/hospice care for a loved one. Best Regards, Jim & Claire V Litchfield Park, AZ

Please take the time to read this review!!! My grandfather…read morewas a resident at Park Senior Villas (PSV) in Goodyear, AZ, from August 2020 to August 2022. For some health background, my grandfather had a stroke in 2015, which left him partially paralyzed. He additionally had a hip replacement a few years later from a fall. My grandfather was also a type-2 diabetic, but it was always taken care of well. Since November 2021, my family has noted inconsistencies with my grandfather's care, which is important to highlight here. My family struggled with contacting him and visitation. He was suddenly provided insulin. This was strange because my grandfather was always insulin-resistant. However, when we asked why he was being given insulin, we were told it "helps his kidneys." In Jan 2022, my grandfather was hospitalized for a kidney infection. However, no one in my family was notified. It wasn't until we went for visitation that we were told, "Your grandfather is not here; he is in the hospital." Regarding other inconsistencies, he was never given a proper meal that applied to his dietary needs as a person with diabetes. He was only fed what everyone else was eating. As time went on, my grandfather was steadily declining in health. He began to show drastic bodily changes; his body/face was severely swollen (signs of edema). Additionally, he had unexplained scrapes/scratches/bruises all over his body. From here until August 2022, he was in & out of the hospital for high blood pressure, low blood sugar, coughing up blood, and pneumonia. In August, he remained in the hospital. Then we were told that this was it. He was in renal failure. His kidney function was at 13%. We moved him to a hospice, where he died on August 30, 2022. It all happened too fast. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THIS FACILITY. Utilize the Arizona Department of Health Services' "AZ Care Check" on their website to review the numerous citations, penalties, and fines the state has against the owner of Park Senior Villas: Jannea Downs and the facility itself. The other reviews here are correct: she managed this facility without a managing license. They do not provide what they are supposed to provide; they do not care like they are supposed to care. This is not the first family this facility has failed. DO YOUR RESEARCH. AZ Care Check: https://www.azdhs.gov/licensing/index.php#azcarecheck - Type "Park Senior Villas."

I reached out to Sage Hospice, Primary & Palliative Care hoping to receive the comfort-focused, home-based support they publicly claim to provide. Instead, I was met with deceit, slander from the medical director, and a cruel emotional bait-and-switch -- not once, but twice. My first interaction with the Sage location in Tucson involved a care specialist who seemed to express genuine compassion. When I explained that I live in Sells, AZ -- a rural tribal area -- he assured me we could work around the geographic issue if I had a Tucson address for appointments. I provided one, a relative's address, and he acted as though I was a good candidate for palliative care. But behind the scenes, their medical director -- who had never evaluated me, never spoken to me, and had not even reviewed my case thoroughly -- labeled me a "drug seeker," claimed I was "seeking for high doses of opiates," and refused to provide care. This reckless accusation came without a single clinical conversation. I have extensive medical documentation confirming the severity of my condition. I was seeking palliative care, not addiction services. Furthermore, I have NO history of addiction, it does NOT run in my family, and I've never abused pain meds. I was and am seeking RELIEF for my uncontrolled severe pain, pain that has utterly debilitated me and destroyed my life. But instead of Sage helping me, I was cast aside and stigmatized. That alone would have been enough to earn this review. But then, several weeks later, Sage reached out to me again, asking if I still wanted services. Desperate for help, I said yes -- because I'm suffering every day with no relief and no one else will help me. They gave me hope again. Only to betray me again. After this second round of false hope, I was finally told the truth: Sage "refers out" for pain management -- meaning they don't actually offer palliative care at all. For crying out loud, the verb "palliate" means TO RELIEVE!! Pain management is the cornerstone of palliative care. I used to be a hospice nurse in the past, so I am very well-versed on palliative care, both end-of-life palliative care (hospice) and palliative care for a serious, life-altering disease (which is what I need badly). To claim to offer palliative care but refuse to actually treat pain is misleading at best and fraud at worst. Refer out to WHERE? In southern Arizona, pain clinics are almost exclusively interventional-only, which means they reject patients with complex, high-level chronic pain unless they agree to invasive procedures or stop taking all pain medication. I am far too sick to endure their hoops and unethical demands. What Sage is really saying is: "You're on your own." Sage Hospice, Primary & Palliative Care falsely advertises compassionate care and symptom relief, but they do not treat severe chronic pain and they will stigmatize you behind your back. They will waste your time, raise your hopes, and disappear when you need them most. If you're suffering and seeking real palliative support, avoid this company. Their actions left me more isolated, demoralized, and abandoned than ever -- and I am still in excruciating pain.

We reached out to Noble to see if their Palliative Care service might be helpful. Oh boy was it! They were very quick to get in touch and Sarah got a sense of what was going on, and helped with some initial calming and support (which was much needed at the time and had a real impact). Then we had a few more meetings with Nadine who we can't thank enough for all of her support and caring. They both made a real difference when we needed it most. They helped calm our thinking, and boost our emotional strength, resilience. They helped us settle down, become less confused and stressed out, and that allowed us to deal with the situation, to do what we needed to make tough decisions and get thru some very hard times. If they hadn't been there to help, our lives would have gone sideways more than once. The impact they had on us may well have saved my life. The default path we were heading down when we reached out to them had a hidden life-threatening risk that we likely wouldn't have avoided. Being able to find our way to a better path made a huge difference. For anyone considering Noble, I can tell you from our experience, these folks are wonderful! I am keeping their name & number because I can't see ever working with anyone else. Thank you, Noble. The people here are absolutely the best!
