Many times they will have live music and the staff happily is dancing and enjoying the residents. I love the family atmosphere they provide. Many times they go on outings with the residents. After much searching, we found the park at surprise. From the moment we pulled up, it already felt right. When we walked in, we were so amazed at how wonderful this place is. All of the employees and all of the residents are unbelievably super nice! After touring the full facility, my wife and I were sold. So many wonderful amenities, so beautifully decorated! My wife and I both know that if we looked hard enough, we could possibly find a place as nice as the park at surprise, but we knew we wouldn't find a place that was nicer. We figured, why continue to search, this Place is not only wonderful, but it is a wise decision for my wife's dad. We shared our hearts with dad, and he trusted our decision. The last three years have proven this to be a complete nightmare The revolving door of staff and nurses is insane how many different people have been hired and have left voluntarily. The current executive director Cindy based on my observations and experience does not have our loved ones best interest at heart. I would not recommend anyone place a loved one in this facility and run as far as possible. If you place your loved one if you have any experience like ours you will have difficulty communicating with staff, you will have difficulty communicating with your loved one, they will make it difficult for you to obtain government services to help take care of your loved one such as Medicaid or hospice. The nurses are not empowered with the ability of common sense and critical thinking. They will tell you one thing and then be very hypocritical about the exact same thing they just told you about. Be very careful if you have a loved one in here document everything we have recordings of overdosing my grandmother, documentation of violating change of command for controlled substances, we filed several reports with adult services and with the state licensing board who did in fact find a few of the concerns were valid.

They constantly work with the medical PA to give our parents the appropriate and best medical care the PA has determined they need. Whenever there is a concern or issue they have kept me advised and we work together to resolve the issue for the best interest of both our parents and us. We have nothing but good things to say about the owners and caregivers. They are truly a god send during our parents declining health issues and I wouldn't have my parents anywhere else. Being in such a caring family oriented home was very important to us and keeping our parents together was a prime concern that has only been doable because of the staff here. Thank goodness my mother had her own kitchen andrarely are in the dining hall. Pool, hot tub not heated past summer. Management assistance changed monthly. We moved over to Soltice.
