Chad and the finance guy made me welcome and the process was super easy. After quoting me the price they found out I was a veteran and knocked another $250 off the already great price. I had the same experience as Jeff J. The first time I visited the Indian showroom, sale staff were "all over me". I had visited the dealership several times and even bought a Honda there, but once I settled on an Indian, I had difficulty deciding on a specific model. After first couple visits, no one said hello or even greeted me. Then test rode a Vintage and decided it was the one and agreed on price. Was told by Mgr., the unit I rode was probably sold and he would know the next day. I said OK, if its sold, just order a new one and mgr. agreed. No word next day or in next several weeks. Very sad as most sales people were excellent, except for Indian. My salesperson seemed to struggle with even basic questions. I love the Indian brand but this dealership is doing a great disservice to the motorcycle community and Polaris. read more

Brought my dirt bike wheel in the be changed with a spare one and I had them do this for me and I come back and they didn't even mount my other wheel on the rim. The service front desk guy argued with me saying that was the wheel that I needed replaced trying to convince me that they were right and I was wrong, I had to show proof of my other tire being BRAND NEW. They finally change my rim into the tire I wanted on there and I come home look at it close and the dirt bike tire was all crooked and poked out the sides of the rim it was so bad I could see the tube inside. Worst place to get your service done here, will never trust Twigs again they also ripped me off charging me $100 for a terrible job. read more

Well, after a good visit the first time where salespeople were all over my wife and me, this time was a dud. I rode up 55 miles because it was great weather. Looking forward to a test ride of a Indian Scout. Now, I don't know if it is because I rode up on a BMW, Or my New Mexico plates. But I stood around about 15 minutes waiting to discuss a test ride. Not one "can I help you?" nor "we will be right with you". I have been taken by the Scout and plan to buy one soon but it probably won't be here. Last week I was riding through Hagerstown on my way back to Leesburg when I decided to stop at Twigg Cycles to look at the new Indians. I had not been to this dealer in quite some time and was impressed how they created a separate show room for the Indian brand. As I walked into the showroom I was warmly greeted by a gentleman named Kelby, who I found out later is the general manager. I told him I am really a Harley guy, but these new Indians are calling me. I also made it clear I was not buying a bike now, and understanding commission sales, did not want to waste his time. Kelby said that's fine and still offered to show me some neat things about the bike. We had a good conversation about Indians and the motorcycle business in general. It was a great experience, especially when you consider I was just "kicking" tires. As someone who was in the car business for 24 years, I would rate this a perfect customer experience. If I ever decide to add an Indian to my collection, I'm confident Twigg Cycles is the place to go. read more

I never write reviews but I must in this case. My family and I did a trip to Maine from North Carolina and the roads in the northeast ate my tires up. They were to the point that there was no way my wife and I were going to make it back home. We were about 2 hours out from Hagerstown and called on Thursday. They said they were super slammed and I wouldn't have my tires on until Saturday. (We had a timeline to be back in NC). I just told them about the trip and they told me to bring it in ASAP and they would see what they could do. I had new tires in 3 hours that same day. I didn't ask for any favors. They just provided outstanding service. And cheap too!! I was so blown away by their ethics for travelers, that my wife and I are going to go all the way back when we get our next motorcycle. If any business deserves my hard earned money, it's Twiggs. We really can't thank them enough! read more

This is my 3rd interaction with Twigg's, first time was back in October 2016, wanted to buy an Indian Scout Sixty bike, we didn't reach an agreement and I ended up buying from another dealer. However, I returned back and bought all my gear from them because I loved their customer service (Chad, Ben, Kelby, Dan, Keith). Fast forward to December 2016, I felt that I need edto upgrade to a bigger bike (yes in 3 months), I bought my Indian Chief Dark Horse from them. It was a great experience, this time they didn't let me out of the showroom without a bike. They picked up my old bike from Leesburg VA and delivered the new one as part of the deal because the weather didn't help to ride (at least for me). Overall and compared to other dealerships (cars and bikes) it was a great experience. I will definitely return back for any upgrade or other purchase. Oh . Yes, they even helped my wife pull a surprise, she called them and bought me a cover that was delivered with the bike. That's called going the extra mile. We had a very nice experience here this afternoon. Keith was such a funny and knowledgeable guy. I'm glad we met him. Five stars for him. We didn't feel pressured to buy and were told many times that most people don't buy on their first time to a bike shop. We told him upfront that we were only there to look. We walked around and checked out all our options from different levels of sports bikes to cruisers. The prices seemed fair but I can't really judge it since I haven't been to any other shops. They have a decent-sized inventory inside and even more outside. They also have a section of all pre-owned bikes. Overall it seemed like everyone was friendly and I would consider purchasing from them when the time is right. read more

First AND LAST time I patronize this business! I wasn't told until after the 5 week wait for a service appointment and I arrived to drop off my ATV that they charge $125/hr for labor. Yep. You read that correctly. ONE HUNDRED TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS PER HOUR!!!! The ONLY reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the staff WAS friendly, but I guess it's easy to be friendly when you're raping the wallet of every person who walks through your doors. As mentioned, the service advisor was extremely friendly and called me several times to ask clarifying questions about the issues I was having. HOWEVER, once I was able to prove to them I did in fact have an extended warranty (that I purchased through the Honda dealer the same day/time I bought my ATV that they said "wasn't in their system") then they couldn't find anything wrong with it. He actually said "Well, it could be just the smell of plastic because of how new it is". REALLY? It's 3-1/2 years old and has gotten plenty of use and that's what you're going with? Whatever, pal. Something tells me if I HADN'T been able to prove it was under warranty I would've got a laundry list of things that needed to be fixed or replaced. But I digress. Okay, "nothing is wrong with it" according to their tech. He then asks if I would like them to change the oil and filter. I typically do all my own maintenance on all my vehicles, equipment, etc. but just for S's and G's I asked how much an oil change would be. Y'all ready for this? A HUNDRED AND SEVENTEEN DOLLARS for an OIL CHANGE!!!! My jaw almost hit the floor. It's 3.5 quarts of oil and a filter the size of a tennis ball. Stifling my laughter, I asked "Why so much?". He tells me it's forty-whatever dollars for the oil and filter and a half hour labor. Yep, $62.50 in labor for an OIL CHANGE. Chuckling, I politely declined. I can get Honda oil and filter on Amazon around $40 and I can do it myself in my garage, without a lift or "fancy" tools in 10-15 minutes max so I think I'll save myself $62.50. He then says, "Okay. They didn't quite have an hour labor in it so your total after tax is going to be $127.XX". Okay, whatever. At this point I just want my ATV back. So a few days later I go to pick it up and I'm met with a bill of $138.XX. I had other things on my mind and wasn't thinking he had already told me the bill was $127 and change after tax so I just swiped my card, signed the paper and went outside to prep my truck while he retrieved my ATV. After I got outside I remembered the price he had told me over the phone so I looked at the bill more carefully. I was assessed a "Miscellaneous" charge of $19.76. When he came out with my ATV I asked him what the miscellaneous charge was. He tells me "Oh that's a shop fee to cover things like rags and such". EXCUSE ME????? You had less than one hour labor into my unit, didn't find anything wrong with it and I'm being charged $20 for "rags and such"??? WHAT BALLS this place has to charge people $125/hr for labor AND THEN a $20 "miscellaneous" shop fee on top of it. I am not a cheap person and I understand the point of running a business is to profit from such, but this place is absolutely frikkin UNreal! I know it won't make a bit of difference to his bottom line and I'm sure he won't lose a moment's sleep over it but sorry, Mr. Twigg. Your greed along with your unreasonably high and hidden fees has lost you a potential long-term customer. read more

Today I purchased a used 2010 Honda ST 1300 from this dealership. My sales person Chad Gordon could not be any more helpful First of all they serviced the bike before I arrived at the dealership, installed new tires on it and had to shop review the bike to assure it was mechanically sound I drove in from New Jersey to purchase this bike and they gave me a phenomenal price. Chad and one of the other employees loaded the bike on my trailer and even help me to strap it down They gave me a full tank of gas and Chad reviewed every feature of the bike. I spent four hours driving to this dealership but would do it again in a heartbeat for the type of stellar service that I received. read more

I just purchased a part from these crooks on ebay and they have now stated they have miss numbered the part. I paid them for the part and now they are stating I owe an additional $53 because of their mistake. Their response is they will send it when it gets to their warehouse. New message from: twiggcycles (27,870TurquoiseShooting Star) "To continue with the transaction we will need the difference to be paid. Otherwise we will cancel the transaction and refund your money immediately and accept the reviews." Poor Business. I would not trust these people. read more

These guys made my dream come true. Twiggs is, one of if not, the best motorcycle dealership I have ever had the pleasure with whom to do business. Mike Twigg you should be mighty proud of your crew. I have wanted an Indian since the first time I saw one a half century ago. That's 50 years if you are mathematically challenged like I am. When Polaris bought Indian and came out with their first models I thought, now I have a chance. Last year when they released the Roadmaster Elite I took one look at it and I was hooked. I worked with my local dealer and they just couldn't get where I needed to be. Twiggs was recommended to me by a friend. Despite the fact they are 337 miles from my door I started a conversation with Kelby. Kelby didn't waste any time. Within a matter of hours he was so close to where we needed to be. Within a day we came to an agreed price that made both of us happy. I went there to drop off my trade and was treated like the family that you haven't seen in a long time. Everyone was friendly and caring. Maddie was awesome and gave me a quick tutorial on the Ride Command before I had to go meet with Frank, the finance manager. Took my RZR in for the latest recall work. That went fine but I also paid for them to go ahead and grease it up. After pickup I noticed some of the zerk points werent touched. They came out and finished the spots in the parking lot but It doesn't show much about the kind of work they do. Wouldn't recommend this place for any service. read more

The people at Twigg Cycles are plenty friendly and this review isn't a reflection on them personally. This is strictly a statement of how they operate as a business. I purchased a waverunner from them. I overpaid a little, but I wanted it quickly. There aren't many options around so you kinda take it or leave it. When I purchased the waverunner I was given a $100 coupon with a handwritten thank you note on it. Pretty obvious that this is intended to be a token of appreciation, and to get you back in the store to buy some accessories. The coupon has no fine print, no expiration date, nothing other than twigg's logo on a fake $100 bill. I recently went into the store to get some riding gear, and was taken back when I went to use the $100 coupon. The lady at the register told me (paraphrasing) "Oh, that isn't a coupon. It is a promotional flyer that means if you refer someone to us and they buy a bike then we will give you $100. I would love to sign you up for our customer loyalty program though". Two things: 1. So my "thank you" for making a very large purchase is that in the event I make an additional sale for you, then I get the privilege of a referral bonus? 2. I am in your store as a repeat customer. You renege on a nominal coupon you give me, and want me to sign up for a customer loyalty program? Hello!! I AM a loyal customer and you essentially just told me to piss off. I didn't complain in the store. They have a right to do business how they see fit. I recommend making the drive to Romney cycles. They have MUCH more competitive pricing, and they don't charge all the BS of freight and prep (saving around $1,000-$2,000 on the out the door price of the bike). They don't have any gimmicks or fake $100 coupons. Just the lowest prices in the area. It is a couple hours away, but it is well worth it. read more

15 years ago (give or take) i visited Twiggs to get a tire for my Ninja. The person i talked to at the time left a bad taste in my mouth and i swore i would never be back. Fast forward to this spring. My youngest son and I have recently taken a liking to riding dirtbikes and atv's. My wife took my son to Twiggs to get some parts for his dirtbike. The parts department listened to him and got him what he needed. When you are 12 most people don't take you seriously and won't pay attention to what you are saying. My wife is clueless when it comes to anything mechanical but my 12 year old son on the other hand is not. I have him do most of the repairs and maintenance on our family vehicles not only because he likes it but to save the time of doing it myself. We have been back several times a month buying parts and riding gear and couldn't be happier. Prices are competitive with online stores and the service is fantastic. They have certainly changed my mind from how i felt years ago about the place. Keep up the good work Twigg! read more
