This vets was local, so I booked in and the vet didn't show any real connection with him at all. It was all very impersonal. When he tried to stick a thermometer up my dogs bum, he bit him... The vets response was to say that my dog would be hard to control and I'd never be able to trust him. Well I'm sorry, but if he'd tried to do it to me, I'd have bitten him too!! 5 years later and my dog is the friendliest, happiest hound ever. He's tolerant even when children try to climb on him and I'm glad to say that I've found a good vet who likes animals. I would rather drive my sick pet 20 miles than send him to this place again.

The vets have always done their job. I have seen 2 different vets. The last one I saw perhaps came across a bit short in his mannerism. I think personally the practice and the environment comes across a bit cold and unfriendly. That said I have had no bad experience here. I think I would just prefer a warmer friendlier place for my little dog.

Dogs, cats, chinchillas, guinea pigs, rabbits. you name it. My dog starts quivering the moment he gets into the car park. But we know that he is in good hands when he gets here. The staff are all brilliant at their job; all professional, courteous, and off course, they are all animal lovers. I was touched by one of the vets who saw me and my family coming in with our very sick cat a few months ago, and went off to get a box of tissues for us. 20 minutes later we were all crying in the treatment room as we said goodbye to our little bad tempered fat cat. She was very respectful, and let us stick around while we composed ourselves. Thankfully, I don't always come in here with a worried or sick pet. I pick up dog and cat food here; they have plenty of the specialist brands, like Iams.

I visit this pet store on weekends and although it does get quite busy it's a nice friendly shop to go to for your pet's needs. They sell everything from dog collars and squeek toys to live food (such as worms!) The staff know a lot about various animals and this makes them the ideal people to speak to if you have any concerns or questions (after your vet!) Best place I know in Teddington for pet supplies.
