We had a horrible Easter morning 2014,, coming downstairs to learn the the rat control people had not done their work properly (PGS pest control: AVOID!!!!!) and put the rat poison in containers. Our old Yorkie, Harry, swallowed some of it during the night and vomited it up--but we didn't know which of our three dogs had swallowed it. We called up our vets, but they were closed. They referred us to Park Vets in Sidcup and they were FANTASTIC. Not only were they open on Easter but they waived one of the consultation fees (we only paid for two of the three dogs) out of pure kindness, and had the facility to do ALL THE TESTS ON SITE. The horrible news was that Harry was already sinking (he WAS old, but very dear) and they advised he be put down so he didn't suffer more, which we did. These vets have to be some of the best in the country. They don't just have every possible feature but they're very caring. read more
