Bullying "Customer Care Manager", Practice Manager & vets. "Customer Care Manager" who claims to be too busy to contact you when you are forced to make a complaint to listen to your actual concerns, then tells you what happened instead of asking you, having never bothered to actually contact you, but appears to have plenty of time to send you bullying emails demanding immediate payment instead, despite you being a client for over 25 years.
I used to come to this vets to see some very good vets, but they have sadly long since disappeared. Others clearly have their priorities in the wrong place. They are unfriendly, unempathetic, uncaring, constantly talking about money & unnecessary tests they want to carry out on your pet, & treat you and your pet as though you are walking cashpoints. The care you receive from one vet can be starkly different from the "care" you will receive from another. It is sadly therefore, a lucky dip & the care you receive is dependent on who you see. This vets has sadly become no different to a multitude of other corporate practices, where the vets change constantly & there is no continuity of care.
When you try to raise concerns, rightfully, they are totally ignored by said "Customer Care Manager", who spends time writing a bullying email, arrogantly telling you what happened instead of bothering to ask you, claiming they do not have time to contact you, due to their busy workload, presumably consisting of all those other customer complaints, but cannot spend the same amount of time picking up a phone speaking to you & actually bothering to listen to your concerns & finding out from you what actually happened instead. The Practice Manager, then further bullies you, dismissing your concerns, & allowing the vet you have concerns about to completely change events to cover themselves and infer you are a liar. You are then told, equally arrogantly and dismissively, to "find a new vets", followed by a sarcastic and deeply offensive "kind regards" by what is nothing more than a bullying clique effectively ganging up on you, and who make it clear they were NEVER going to listen to your side of the story in the first place, no matter what happened.
It is abundantly obvious that your concerns are of NO CONCERN here. Before you pay them, they are too busy to call you, dismiss your concerns, & demand you make payment immediately. After you pay them
they dismiss your concerns, effectively call you a liar, & tell you to "find another vets", effectively banning you from their practice for daring to question them. That is how much they care about your concerns.
I have put up with screw up after screw up at this vets, even resulting in the totally unnecessary death of my beloved pet, & half killing another. I still have the PTSD that left me with, and the terrible memory of no less than 8 of their staff standing in their waiting room laughing to themselves, completely inappropriately, after once again dismissing my concerns, and have politely said nothing, for years. This week I have spent hundreds at this vet, yet again, to be sent away with absolutely nothing, and no treatment whatsoever for my pet, and when I raise a concern, to then be lied to, and lied about, to falsely make me appear unreasonable, and have the vet completely change events and pretend they offered my pet treatment, when they absolutely did not.
When my pet died totally unnecessarily, I was far too upset to write a review, but this time I am beyond furious that they have yet again treated me in this manner, and that this appalling and casual bullying and silencing of their clients continues, and they deem it to be acceptable and routine.
This vets are a third at least, if not double the price of every other vet in the area, and all surrounding areas. There used to be a reason for this. They used to be the only vets with a hospital, and with 24 hour care, and they used to actually have good vets. None of this is the case any more, and their excessive costs cannot be justified, and neither can their appalling treatment of their clients. read more
