Only took my dog here once when I first got the little poppet. He was a rescue dog and fairly traumatised. He had a bad tummy, infections in a few places and was scared. This vets was local, so I booked in and the vet didn't show any real connection with him at all. It was all very impersonal. When he tried to stick a thermometer up my dogs bum, he bit him... The vets response was to say that my dog would be hard to control and I'd never be able to trust him. Well I'm sorry, but if he'd tried to do it to me, I'd have bitten him too!! 5 years later and my dog is the friendliest, happiest hound ever. He's tolerant even when children try to climb on him and I'm glad to say that I've found a good vet who likes animals. I would rather drive my sick pet 20 miles than send him to this place again. read more
