Had an appointment and when I showed up early the kid told me to wait in a parking stall. I waited about an hour until I got fed up of being ignored. A family member of mine had the appointment after me and when they asked they said "oh I'm sorry, we totally forgot about him". I don't care how long a company been in business, if they're consistently treating their customers this poorly then I wouldn't recommend ANYONE to waste their time with people who don't value yours. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. I don't ever write reviews and this is my first one but I could not go without leaving a warning to anyone considering this place. First off when I went to pick up my vehicle it was still dirty. Their shipping package is supposed to cater towards PCS vehicles but yet carpets were still dirty. Cup holders left dirty and many areas untouched. Items listed in the package details not completed (headlight restoration). Had I not gone behind and cleaned after picking up from them the vehicle would have failed inspection to be shipped. But that's not the worst part. When we went to pay the owner tried to charge double the price showing a fake pricing chart that is not what is on the website. Luckily my wife pulled up the chart directly from their website. Once they were proven wrong the owner got upset and still charged us incorrectly. I do not recommend this place if you are trying to ship your vehicle for a PCS move. read more

I've never gotten my car detailed before but got the coupon from Living Social & gave it a try. Nice guy & his wife own this business & they were swamped by the coupon redeemers. I had to try a couple times before I could get an appointment. I was satisfied w/the job, especially the interior cleaning. It's hard to have your own small business these days, so I give props to these folks who are working hard to give good customer service in tough economic times. read more

Treat their customers like family and treat your car like their own. Price is VERY affordable compared to those other guys. Got my hard watersports pit like it was nothing. My car looks like as when I first purchased it. Getting ready for my annual visit. Happy New Year 2020!! read more

NOTE: This review is not about the quality of work that this company provides. I called a bunch of time to schedule an appointment and nobody answers the phone. Being this was my first time dealing with this company I didn't feel comfortable using the online appointments. After about five days in a row I finally get someone on the phone and scheduled an appointment. The day of the appointment come and i have the 10:00 am first slot of the day. I get there early about 945 and no one is around. I start calling the company and nobody picks up. I ended up waiting until 10:30 and still nothing so I picked up and left. There were also two other customers that came and left while I was there. WTH! They also have a early drop off box in the bay if you trust it...I DONT THINK SO. I heard really good things about the work they do but if you cant even get your car worked on whats the point. read more

I'd like to give 4 stars for the service and products but sadly 3 stars for the outcome of the actual detailing. I'm kind of on the fence about this business because I took my minivan here only 1x and to be fair my minivan was very dirty because we just purchased it used from a family with 2 young kids. So there was choke sand, hand prints, dirt , dried food etc every where. If you check out 20 20 Auto Detailing's website, under their specials they have an end of the month deal where you pay cash and get a discount on the service and you have to leave your vehicle with them all day. For $250 cash, we got both the "Maintenance" Package (which normally retails for $270 alone) and the engine detailed, which is an additional charge I'm not sure of the exact price tho. Either way it was a very well priced deal. What I think happens here, just from what my husband and I saw, is that the the owner or someone takes these "end of the month cars" on the side or top of their usual appts and just does it when he has the time. Because it was just 1 man, trying to work on our car and when we arrived at the end of the day, he was far from done, but to his defense he was hustling! He was vaccuming one spot for a long time to get all the sand out. And because we couldn't necessarily wait another hour or 2 AFTER the time he said it would be done, we got the car back a little sooner than the worker felt was ready. Plus we felt bad because his kid was there hanging out and it was close to dinner time....So there was a lot of spots missed (like a dirt/coffee splat on the steering wheel or dirt and crumbs in the back seat belt clasps) but the general mess and the obvious areas were cleaned up really well. There was no sand anywhere when we got it back. Again, to be fair, I will take my car back again just to make sure, because I was expecting a little bit more. Especially after reading a 5 star review from the first (and only) yelp about this business. So to recap: Pros: -Quality of products used (he used a clay bar instead of just cheapy wax and that itself is very labor intensive) -Service; friendly and honest worker we dealt with (sorry forgot his name! ) -Pricing; the end of the month deal is by far very competitive Cons: -Had to leave the car there all day for end of month special -Did not have car finished on time, as specified (close of business) -Not as clean as I would have hoped but the guy worked hard by himself. read more

Living Social coupon = amazing deal! Hooray. I have never gotten my car detailed and so I wasn't expecting very much more than a car wash (especially since the coupon was so good). I was super pleasantly surprised when my car turned out wayyyyy better than how I had expected. I scraped my front bumper ~1 year ago and they took all the paint from that off! The inside was nice and clean, the rugs and trunk were vacuumed, and the car was as shiny as when I first saw it :) I really feel like this was money very well spent! I'm not sure why everyone else had such a problem with calling them. I was able to get through right away and make an appointment with the number on the coupon. I got there at 10:15am and was first in line = done at 12:30. There were places to eat nearby and I sat at Starbucks while waiting. Although it's not really a garage (more of a covered area with a place to wash and wipe down cars), everyone was very nice and professional. Hints: watch the video on their website (http://2020autodetailing.com/) of how to get there. The directions are key and very helpful! Go early so that you're first in line. The website asks that you schedule an appointment online, so I would suggest that. Maybe the other people had problems with the phone not being answered because everyone there was working on a car, I'm not sure. Anyhow, I will definitely consider going back if I need my car cleaned and detailed again! read more

First time at 20 20 Auto Detailing today. Their business line (phone) needs to be fixed. They are open at 10am, and I'm a punctual person. I have a job also and because they're open at 10am, near by my office I thought I'd give it a try. I arrived 15 minutes early, and WAITED 15 minutes. No one was there to help me!!! A stranger walked by and I asked for assistance. He told me to leave my key at a "drop box". What the heck is a drop box? WHERE IS IT? And why would I trust it? First with their shady business phone, now a drop box? I don't think so. Finally someone showed up and I explained my main concerns. RAIN/WATER SPOTS. Which was done wonderfully. My car looks brand new, but ONLY ON THE OUTSIDE. I'm not happy with my interior at all. Honestly, I feel like I got a $100 carwash and not an auto detail. I was easily able to spot sand on my floor mats, obviously my leather seats wasn't washed because I found scuff marks (also on the bottom of the drivers seat, possibly from a shoe). When I asked about it, he simply said they didn't have the "special Japanese sponge" that removes scuff marks. He said, "anyday now it should arrive... come back and we'll take care of that for you." That was nice of him, but shouldn't he have mentioned that to me when I dropped off my car??? I don't want to make two trips. It's my understanding that there are higher levels of auto detailing. Partly it was my own fault for not getting all the package details. A friend even told me I got ripped off... Try Midas he says. Better research next time. *Lanson, thanks for your comment. I appreciate your offer and like I said partly it was my fault for not knowing what levels of details you offer. Being that it was my first time detailing my car, didn't really know the right questions to ask- it would help if you gave out a flier or something with detailed informations. No hard feelings*. read more

I finally took advantage of my LivingSocial coupon for one "complete me" auto detail for $35 (regular price is higher, depends on your type of car). I am guessing this deal was pretty popular. A couple of points of frustration/challenge for me: - The phone number listed on the coupon wasn't working or at least sporadically working when I attempted it. Best and super easy approach is to schedule the appointment online through the business website: http://2020autodetailing.com/. I received a confirmation email - so good to go after that. Not sure if there is a better contact phone number - The location of the business has changed, different from the address listed on the coupon, so I had a hard time finding the place. But in all fairness, the location is updated on the company's website and there was a sign near the turn-in entrance with the updated location. I posted pictures of the general area - figured I could help out other people. Another note: I get lost or confused easily. :o) Anyway, the auto detail took a few hours, so I parked myself temporarily at the Starbucks down the street. This visit was my first auto detail experience, and I am very satisfied with the results. The car is looking good. Bottom line: I'll be a repeat customer - love the results and the reasonable price. read more

The quality of the product and service, makes 20/20 my detailer of choice. I come from a sales and service background. So when I look for a business to patronize, I look for all the qualities I would expect my own customers would want. Lanson and his charming wife never fail to go that extra mile. The Glare product line is top performer. Don't be fooled by others claiming to be authorized dealers. 20/20 Auto Detailing is the only authorized dealer of Glare products in the state. When my friends ask how I keep my ride looking so good. I tell them to go see Lanson at 20/20. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG. read more

Came here while back for a ceramic coat, paid around $300, looked good at the time but honestly have no idea if it really was ceramic coat. He doesn't publicly offer it but says he can do it, seems a little fishy. Anyways, I'm the type that probably wouldn't care much as long as they keep a good relationship. However, I made an appointment here for their basic wash, no one was there when I got there. Guess if I'm not dishing out $300, my time is not valuable. Won't be taking my cars here anymore, regardless of the convenience. read more

I'm not sure how 20/20 does it, but their techniques and products are unsurpassed. I believe their unique Glare line is what gives my BLACK car a finish that makes it look new everytime. I specify black because everyone else that has serviced my car has made it worse by making swirls in the clear coat and not being able to remove the hard water spots. Somehow, 20/20 was able to make my black car lose those annoying imperfections like the scratches, swirls and spots! Thanks 20/20! read more

Got the wash and seal. When I picked up the car it looked brand new. Fabulous work. One thing to be aware of - no client waiting room. I was planning on waiting for my car, so I walked a block down the street to Starbucks and sat there for 3 hours. read more

4.5 stars is due to Lanson's persistence to keep a new customer happy. Lanson was prompt with contacting me to confirm my appointment and even allowed a last minute reschedule due to weather. The initial quality of the clean was acceptable, but I expected a full detail for what I was paying for. There were spots by the wheel wells and front bumpers that were not cleaned to my expectations, but then again I had extremely high expectations for what I paid. I explained a few areas of concern, which he kindly addressed and cleaned. He did not give me attitude or attempt to downplay my concerns. Lanson takes ownership in his work and takes the extra step to make things right. He even extended a free car wash. Will I go back? Yes. He stands by his work and takes pride in running an efficient and top knotch detailing service. Will I expect a better clean the first time around? You betcha. Would I recommend 20/20? You betcha. To be updated upon my next visit. read more

I purchased a "Complete Me" package through Living Social for $35, which normally retails at $80. I tried scheduling an appointment through their website several times and never got a response. I also tried leaving messages a couple times on the weekend when no one answered, but didn't get my phone call returned. I finally tried calling during the week and was able to schedule my appointment then. The lady I talked to was very polite. I did not get a confirmation phone call so was a little nervous about showing up. Their place was kind of hard to find and I was a little worried I was in the wrong place. I showed up about five minutes early and no one was there. A couple minutes before my appointment, they showed up and I left my keys with them and walked down to Starbucks to hang out while they worked on my car. The lady told me it would take about two hours and she would call me when it was close to done. Almost 2 1/2 hours later I got the call that it was almost finished. When I got there, the lady told me that she got as much of the sand and dog hair out as she could. I noticed that they were able to remove some paint and adhesive glue stuck to the windows. The interior looked really clean and I was pleased. The lady was super nice and friendly. As I drove away and saw my car in the sunlight, I noticed that a stain on the back seat was, although lighter, still visible, and there was still some gunk on the ceiling where I had tried to throw something out the passenger window awhile back and missed. It wasn't a perfect clean, but for $35 and not having to do it myself, it was pretty good. I'm sure if I would've noticed it while I was still there, they would have taken care of the two trouble spots for me. Overall, I would return. read more

Twenty20 auto Detailing should definitely change their name from Detailing to Ten20 car wash because they do half the job of what detailing is. I had black smudges on my bumper that were still there when I picked up my car that I was able to get off with a paper towel and a little water when I got home. the seats were vacuumed and that's it. when I pulled up my tires weren't finished but he was just sitting there on his phone even though I told him I was on my way. all he sprayed in my car was Ozium which there was a strong odor of. He had plenty of availability and now I know why. the only good thing about the service was that they sent an email and text confirmation for my appointment. I would never recommend to a friend or family member. read more

2020 is awesome! I've been to other detailers and a few days later the scratch they said was gone -came back - what a waste of money. I went to 2020 and it's been a month now and the scratch is actually gone and the waterspots and fallout is gone too! The owner is Lanson. he looks local but when he starts talking about his cleaning stuff, he sounds like a ...well, like a nerd because he is so passionate and knows so much. It was enjoyable to listen to him. His wife cleaned the inside and she somehow got the mud out (I got three kids in soccer). She was so friendly and smiley. She no scared work hard. They were a cute couple. Well, it's been a month and my Sienna is still shiny. 2020 - you gave me the best detailing experience I have ever had! Thank you! In fact, my friend just went to you and said the same thing - he agrees you know a lot about detailing since he used to detail his own car when he had time. We both are coming back in a month or so! read more

I must start off with this important bit of information: I have NEVER gotten my car detailed by 2020 Auto detailing. This review is because I wasn't ABLE to get it detailed. I wish I could! I set up an appointment online because they have what seem to be rather reasonable rates for services that suit what I am looking for. I wanted the Wash, Wax and Seal (which is a great value at $90). I promptly received an email confirmation (person-generated, not computer-generated), so far, so good. Fast forward to my appointment date. I was a little pressed for time on this day, as my appointment was for (930, and I had a phone interview at 945, which I was planning on taking at the Starbucks downstairs, which takes about 5 minutes to walk to). I showed up about 5 minutes early for my appointment at the address on their website, but there was NO ONE THERE. I waited around for about 5 minutes, and then asked one of their neighboring businesses if I was mistaken about where their "office" was located, but no. There was just no one there. To be 100% fair, I did not call the number that was attached to the email, simply because I was super pressed for time. So I left, disappointed. That was three days ago. Today, I dropped by the "office" again in hopes of being able to purchase a gift certificate for my brother, since I have heard some pretty nice things about this detailing service. But again, there was no one there. This time, I called their office number, only to hear the phone ringing at their unmanned table, which then went to voicemail. Needless to say, I can't say anything good or bad about the services they provide, and the customer service that I was actually able to experience was pretty good. Lanson emailed me back very quickly, in a professional and cordial manner. Unfortunately, I was greatly disappointed with the lack of service (and not delivery of poor service) when I showed up to their actual location. Perhaps I shall try again when I have recovered. read more

Called and called and left multiple messages, with no return phone call. Eventually thought of looking on the internet to see if they had a website. HELLO, phone lines are broken! REALLY, can't imagine that could possibly be going on for so long! And if that is the problem, you should disable your messaging feature, so people don't expect a call back. Finally got an appt after having to drive in there to talk to someone. Was beginning to think the Living Social deal I got as a gift, was a SCAM. But finally got an appt for this morning. Got there at 9 for appt, and waited till 930. NO ONE IS HERE! Place is completely empty, gates closed! You would think that if you are running a business you would be on time. AND that if you were having a problem, you would call your client to reschedule. After having to take time off from work to drop off, ON TOP of having someone else waste their time coming to pick me up, I would give these guys NO STARS! Yelpers, take your business elsewhere!!! read more

Bought the Living Social Groupon and made several attempts at scheduling an appointment. First attempt I got an email reply stating that they were busy. Second attempt went unanswered--no follow up call or email. I even gave several days that I'd be available so that they could pick the best time. Nothing. Third attempt I got an email several days later from a Lanson Siazon on Oct 31: "I apologize I am completely booked up until the 2nd. We are trying to figure out dates when we will be able to redeem everyone, once we have those dates we will contact you. So we will honor it after the expiration." It's now Nov 20 and no reply as promised. These guys are nothing more than shady crooks looking to steal from the less informed. Don't be one of them. I don't think they should have gotten involved with Living Social if they could not provide the services offered, unless that was their original plan to begin with. I'll report my experience with Living Social and BBB. read more

Just got my car detailed by 20/20 today. Awesome job! Car looks better than when I first got it. Making an appointment request and confirming it was very easy. I went online on Friday, requested an apptmt for Monday, and Lanson emailed me to confirm later that day. Easy. Got the Wash and Seal and also had some scratches/blemishes removed. I must say that Lanson has the perfectionist eye. He not only removed the scratches that I knew about but also pointed out a few others I did not see prior. Once he pointed them out to me, he went ahead and corrected them. Then after all was done, he took the time to explain what he did and what I should try to do to maintain it now that it's perfect. Also, the products (Glare) he uses are awesome. Go ahead and do some research on it. The seal does this molecular bonding thing with the paint and creates a protective shield so that things like, rain, bird poo, fallout, etc don't damage the paint. It's awwesome stuff. My car is black and I park outside all the time, so I need it. 5/5 stars. read more

Top notch detailing! I'm terrible about keeping my car clean (food and drink spills in the mid console, sand and dirt on the carpeting and mats, tons of bird crap on the body from parking under trees at the beach, caked on grease and dirt on the wheels, you get the picture). No matter how dirty my car is, Lanson gets that baby looking good as new. They are also very accommodating to my work schedule. I drop my car off in the morning and they have my car done before I'm done with work. If I have to leave early, I just call up and let them know and they have always met the deadline. I work in the same structure as the shop, so they will even drive my car down and drop it off right outside my office. NOW THATS SERVICE! I hate paying people to clean my car (even those fundraiser car washes) but with the quality of work and great service 2020 provides, I have no problem paying for the job, which I might add, is EXTREMELY well priced for the work they do compared to other places I've seen. read more

SO, I got a "Complete Me" deal off of one of the grouponish websites for detailing at 2020. God knows my ride needed the cleaning and I was looking forward to cruising down the road in a shiny blue ride. Daydreaming about my blond hair flying in the breeze behind the wheel on a sunny day, I woke up on the morning of my detail to find we were in the midst of a torrential storm. Nonetheless, I went ahead with the service and was soooo glad I did. The staff at 2020 were awesome!!! For 35.00 (way less cuz I got the deal online) 2020 made my blue baby shine. The interior was impeccable. They got every grain of sand, every beagle hair and arranged everything so neatly!! I felt like my car was new again. I would recommend them for sure! The location was a little difficult to find, as they're in the parking structure by the airport and initially it was almost impossible to get a hold of them on the phone but that's cuz their deal ran for a mistaken 3 days instead of 1 and they were bombarded with business. Now I know why. I'll definitely be bringing my car back to 2020 when I wanna feel all shiny and new again. read more
