I was planning to sell my wife's Honda Accord and needed someone to really give the car a nice clean inside and out. After looking on Yelp and seeing the positive review, I called Lux's and Washington was able to fit me in the same week. Weekends are busy for him but he had a helper show up just after lunchtime on a Friday and that person worked till nearly 800 pm that night! Washington oversaw the work and probably spent over 3 hours himself. At first I thought it was a bit pricey for an interior clean and detailing, and an exterior wash, including cleaning off the engine a bit, but after considering the total number of hours they put in, I think they certainly earned their money and did a great job. Very satisfied with the cleaning, and attention to details. Even my domestic inspector (wife ;) was impressed. This is my second time taking my car to LUXS. I will never go to anyone else for my car detailing. I spilled compost in my back seat and my car had this horrible smell! I had took my car to a different place but they were unable to get the smell out my car(I spent $300). I took it to LUXS and I was assured that my car would be perfect. During this mandated stay at home period, my neighbor decided to maintain her patch of sidewalk grass next to multiple parked cars. She weedwhacked the entire passenger side of my car. My one year old car was peppered with tiny scratches, whirls of dried grass clippings, and whatever else that damn contraption could buckshot into my vehicle. As soon as the car detailers were allowed to open for business, I went searching for someone to fix my problem. Thankfully with very little notice, Washington was able to fit me in that afternoon. I dropped off my car and brought up a few small dents my work neighbors made while they tried to get into their work van and with paint sealant/dent repair combined my bill came equal to my insurance deductible. Maria took the keys from me with the promise that she would treat my car like her own baby. Sunday afternoon I was surprised with texted photos of a car shiny enough that I didn't recognize it. The sealant needed 24 hrs to cure and Washington said they would be willing to bring my car to me when they were done. The quality of care, level of service, and professionalism was top notch. They even said if I get paint corrector from the dealership they'd be able to fix some of the more outstanding blemishes gratis. Yelp reviewers were right once again! Washington from LUXS Detailing did an awesome job washing, waxing, cleaning and making my in-law's SUV look like it just rolled off the dealer lot. I've had my own SUV and car detailed a bunch of times by dealerships and mobile detailers before but LUXS Detailing has by far been the best. The level of cleaning detail was impressive and I'm not easily impressed. The grandkids dirtied up their leather interior and it looked like dried up hot chocolate all over the back seats instead of the the gray color it's supposed to be. Washington was able to get all those stains removed and even buffed out a couple of scratches from the exterior paint so it's barely visible. My father in-law was impressed with the exterior and interior cleaning and he even told him "good job" which is a big deal because he doesn't give out praise unless he really means it. I am midway through a detail with this company and Tyler has been THE BEST. I am getting my husband's Durango detailed as a gift to my husband for his return home from deployment. Lord knows I used and abused my husband's car while he was gone and Tyler literally got on his hands and knees and used TWEEZERS to clean out the pine needles from my Christmas tree. Due to rain, my detail had to be cut short, but with the promise to finish the job on a sunnier day. For about 5 months now I've dedicated myself to fostering two girls, sisters - 6 and 7 years old. Through this time my 2014 Dodge Durango "Citadel" fully loaded, Leather interior with chrome package was put to the test! I had little bits of old play dough, glitter, dirt and mud foot prints on the back of my seats and in between the cracks. I'm usually very organized and clean but during this time, I gave up!! I could not keep up with the girls. So yesterday their adoption papers finally cleared and was flown out to meet their new family. Today I woke up determined and ready to get my car back into the state it was prior to becoming a foster parent. In doubt that I would be able to get an appointment to detail my car today, I headed over to Tony Autoplex Carwash and washed the exterior and they wiped down the interior. I was not satisfied so I searched and found Lux Detailing on Yelp. I called to request a quote and Washington (Co-Owner) wanted to see my car to better assess and get me a quote. When I arrived, Tyler and Washington talked with me and quoted me for an interior detail and engine cleanse for a price I could not back down from. Tyler was most helpful as he was able to accommodate me and take me in the same day!! He also dropped me off at home ensuring my car will be in the same condition as when I first bought it. Through the whole process Tyler sent me text updates and photos of what he was doing. I felt really assured my car was being taken cared of. Once he was done, Washington came by and picked me up and drove me back to pickup my car. They both walked me through and showed me every nook and cranny ensuring I was a satisfied customer. I contacted LUXs via the "contact" page on their website; I received a call back shortly after. Tyler (the owner) called me and asked a few questions regarding the services I wanted. Tyler said he could schedule me for the next day (which was quick), but I said today would be better due to other commitments. Tyler graciously fit me into his busy schedule and made arrangements to meet at my home. Having not met Tyler before I thought to myself "that's nice of him to accommodate me so quickly." I met up with Tyler at the specified time, and he greeted me as if we had already known each other. He set up his equipment and started on our vehicle. I had to go back to work, but luckily my wife was home with our kids and was able to provide anything Tyler may have needed (we always treat people doing work for us well). A few hours passed by and I returned home from work, and I was astonished to see Tyler still working on our vehicle. It looked marvelous to me, but apparently marvelous isn't good enough for Tyler. He said he genuinely enjoys doing the job and besides the job needs to be done right. I introduced my high school boy to Tyler, and I told my son to help Tyler out and learn the ropes on detailing a vehicle. Needless to say, they bonded well. A few more hours passed and Tyler is still going, it was late in the evening, and we had no outside lighting for him. Any other detailer would have been gone in 2-3 hours because it's all about the money! Not Tyler, this man said he would be back to finish the job! My son and I were amazed hearing him say that. The majority of people who own businesses are in it for the money, and Tyler is clearly in the business because he loves what he does. That alone speaks volumes. I called at 6:30 in the morning and he was so kind as to make a last minute appointment for me at 7am. I was hesitant at first, because of the cost. I have a new 2017 Lexus ES350. Washington set up an appointment for me the next day at a time which accommodated my work schedule. He drove my car to his place since he could not work at my townhouse complex, and he returned it on time and looking great. He cleaned the entire car (inside and out), including all the hard to reach places. He also used clay bar and sealant to provide long term protection for the exterior.
