They have been featured on A Current Affair and their regular 'Hottest Burger' eating challenges create a storm of You Tube clips and Facebook photos. Any burger that comes with a health warning and a 'Recovery Kit' has to be quite a meal to tackle and not one that I am personally going to try. I am regularly in the area and I can always tell when some poor brave soul is attempting the burger, the sounds you hear are hilarious. Aside from Mega Death burger, they actually have delicious wraps, breakfasts, burgers with generous fillings and their homemade sauces and dressings are amazing. If you feel like a coffee, this place is one of my favourites, ask for Jess, she makes a lovely creamy coffee.

Maybe this why the Boss Hog has his headquarters here, who knows? It's really worth a look even if you've been to a Hog's Breath before. I think the business has got a fun thing going for it, and it reminds of the Bubba Gump shrimp restaurants in the US and so I have a little soft spot for it, I admit. The food is good, the toppings are tasty and the steaks are always tender, cooked as they are over 18 hours using an amazing slow roasting technique. My friends have a definite thing for the curly fries and aioli and we do tend to get there at least a couple of times a year so we're still having fun there.

I didn't hear back about it until I went to the register, when the staff member told me that they checked the hair with kitchen staff, it didn't belong to them, so that's that... Other than that, it would have been 4 stars

There are pictures of citrus everywhere, which adds to the idea of an 'oasis' (on my tropical island, there would be citrus trees, fo' sho'.) Everywhere you go in Cleveland, it seems that being able to order a caesar salad with chicken ($15.90 here) is still big news. Skip this, and go for a seriously old school food bar treat: the steak burger. They take a more sophisticated approach to an olden goldie, but still keep in the classic details. It's made with a rib eye fillet steak, tomato, lettuce, EGG, BEETROOT, and tomato sauce ($12.90 with chips). The only thing that's missing is pineapple! I nearly died from happiness while I inspected my burger for all of the promised ingredients. The coffee is quite nice too. There's no table service, you have to go up to the counter and ask for what you want. You take a number and sit down and wait while your food is made. All in all, I quite like Rafferty's. I was more than happy to have to lean over my plate while I ate my burger because it was so juicy. I wiped the juice off my chin when I was done, but the grin still remained. That was the best burger I've had in a long time.

I was finding it hard to find a suitable replacement until I came across Tomato Brothers. Then I learnt they also have cocktails - perfect! I am yet to try even half the menu but so far everything has been great. Top on my list is the brucchetta, raja tandoori pizza and the parma nova pizza. The toppings are fresh and you get that unbeatable wood fired taste and aroma. Crunchy and rich in flavour. They have banquets available which I plan on trying in a few weekends time. They are only $25 per person, how cheap is that?
