After a horrible experience at another store in town, my fiancee and I weren't even sure we wanted to try another place and figured what we got at the first store was "good enough." My brother-in-law's wedding was coming up in a couple of months, and we needed a place that would give us the service and selection suitable for the occasion. Austin and the staff at Tuxedo Den were very professional and accommodating to our work schedules and needs. We were given good, sound advice as which suits would be more fitting and not pressured to make any particular selection. They did everything they could to make things work. In addition, my son--the ring bearer--is not the largest fourteen-year old, and we knew that it would be difficult to find a tuxedo for him. This place is awesome. It's family owned and operated. The owner is very knowledgeable as he was raised in the industry. The prices are very fair. I used them for a tuxedo for my wedding and their price was $100 cheaper than the next competitor. I felt like I was treated like a regular customer even though it was my first time in the shop. In my case i needed to rent a few items for my groomsman like suspenders and bow ties which the owner let me borrow free of charge. I can't say enough good about the place and how they conduct business. Tuxedo Den on Hartnell is amazing! The store itself is clean and comfortable feeling, but the best part is how we are treated! Austin is a friendly guy who really cares that each guy look their best. My sons have both come to Austin for a tux for a school dance. Each time Austin listened to what style my boys' wanted and made them both look awesome. When it comes to excellent customer service, Austin is your man. He has gone out of his way before to make sure I get what I need on time. It's a much much different experience than say the one store on Dana drive. Austin's also really honest and will tell you like it is. Austin took great care of us groomsmen, making sure we all looked sharp. I even had the EXTREMELY rare experience of a collar that fit my neck properly -- for once, instead of getting slightly strangled, I was as comfortable as could be! The savvy groomsman will arrange for a "group" final fit-check, and by "group" I mean most of the group at the nearby bar, and one or two at a time at Tuxedo Den making sure the tuxes fit correctly. read more
