Slowest return process EVER. And most unprofessional, also. I had to do a return for a Kohls.com purchase . I had the receipt on my phone with the barcode, etc. It had only been less than a month since I bought it, so I knew the time frame was not the problem. Two cashiers and a manager could not figure out how to process the return. FINALLY. 40 minutes later, a fourth employee comes to the register and finally got it figured out. Really? Really? I still can't believe the lack of common sense these people have. I thought I was being Punk'd by Ashton Kutcher. I've never had a more horrible return experience in my life. Be careful what you buy at Kohls.com. Employees have no idea how to process an on-line return. It will take a minimum of four employees, and A LOT OF TIME to get it resolved. I'm up here in Redding usually at least twice a week, so I like to use this Kohl's store to do all my Amazon returns. Not that I have a ton of returns, but when I do I come here. The return line is not bad usually and all I do is drop of the return with a return label and scanned and off we go! The Amazon credit is processed almost as soon as it gets scanned and a few hours later the money is back in my Amazon account. The staff seem like they know what they're doing ... at least for Amazon returns. As for the rest of Kohl's ... I really don't have any shopping to do here. Every once in awhile I'll get something like a t-shirt on sale for like $5.00 or something. It's a very clean store. The parking is easy and I noticed they have a ton of handicap parking if that's what you need. read more

Pretty flawless system going on here with Amazon returns. No need to box up, print out any labels - show the barcode from Amazon, they scan it and taa daa! Bonus: Kohls gives you a receipt with in-store percentage off. Oh and another bonus, they're bathroom is huge and clean...well the men's bathroom at least. read more

Kohls has gone so downhill in selection, prices, and service. Above all else though, the Kohls credit card is a scam. The company doesn't send out a bill until 2 months after you make a charge so you are always late and charged a late fee. Best advice- shop elsewhere and definitely do not use the kohls card! Don't know why these big box junk dealers haven't figured this out yet: get more of the common sizes, less of the uncommon sizes. Every time I waste a trip coming to these places they are out of my size, a common size. Only carry small to xl, XXL etc.. every time never fails. It's not just Kohls, everywhere. Will have to order online and will have to pay shipping, they won't order at the store and have it delivered to store like some other places do. Also, prices are sky high like every where else. This review won't let me put less than 1 star - this Kohls doesn't even deserve that. All I wanted was to pay for a candle - when I walked in there was one person working in the check out and about 6 customers waiting to check out. I spent a few minutes picking through what was left of the Yankee candles and by the time I got back to the check out that same cashier was till there by herself and the same customers in line plus an additional 5 or 6. After about 15 minutes of waiting to pay I was about to give up when a guy came up to open the next line. I should have gotten his name - he was an absolute jerk but, he was an Asian gentleman (in case the store manager actually reads this). I simply commented that I almost decided it wasn't worth standing in line for a candle. His snotty comment was that there is nothing you can do when people call out. I would be happy to provide some training to the person who schedules check out staff if that is the prevailing opinion at Kohls, it is something that can easily be corrected with a little forethought. Oh how I have to agree with the bathroom statement. Best bathroom in town by far. always clean, always smells nice and, get this, they have a "family bathroom." WHAT??!!! Little mini toilet for the little ones. Awesomeness right there. Everything always seems to be on sale, and who doesn't like a sale?! Friendly staff, if you need shoe assistance, theres a button to push for that, and they are fast! My only complaints are the clearance shoe section.....someone clean that ish up and arrange them by size please. And more checkout lines open on my lunch break. That is all. read more

They have great selections on clothes for any age & size, great seasonal items, toys, housewares- decor, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, shoes, beauty, jewelry, and purses. It has everything! They have excellent customer service. They let you combine coupons too! This store is always clean and staff are readily available to help. I love that they constantly have sales going on. Your "pick up today in-store" order becomes a "ship to store" order once you pay. Their online system doesn't know the store inventory, but will sell you items saying they are in stock. Once you checkout, they take payment IMMEDIATELY! Then hold your money until the item arrives at the store. I called the store AND customer service to let them know I paid for a same-day pick-up, but THERE IS NO WAY TO CANCEL, once you realize you were duped. They hold your payment (along with kohls cash) and don't let you cancel your order until it arrives a week later. I went to the store to see, and my item WAS IN STOCK, they just wouldn't give it to me because online customers are in the bag,they save stock for walk-ins.. once they have your money you're not as valuable a customer. read more

Kohl's sent out 25 percent off Under Armour clothes. So I took my 16 year old son there to purchase some U.A. clothes. After 45 minutes of shopping with no floor staff to help we found 5 Under Armour shirts. When getting to the check out we realized there were only 3 cashier clerks working. With more than 30 customers in line we waited 45 minutes to check out. Then I was told by cashier clerk that in small print on the 25 percent off Under Armour it reads only selected Under Armour items. So after all of this I paid full price and received very poor service. This tactic to lure customers in to Kohl's is dishonest and not a place I want to shop in the future. read more

Went to Coles today when the store opened, but I couldn't buy jewelry? Well it seems that even though the store is open you can't buy jewerly till 10 o'clock. Yes I know that Julie is out of high-quality, but for a cheap Christmas gag gift it works nights. So if you want to buy Julie don't come to calls unless you come way up to the store opens. Hmmm, I have been a Kohl's card holder for a long time, but the company had been hacked and I made sure they knew. The problem is that I was in a very long line for checkout and as my item was brought up,they said let them see my id and after a long wait and with customers getting upset,the clerk said loudly so everyone could hear that the fraud department was waiting to talk to me on the phone. I completely agree that they pull the overprice then make you believe you are getting a major discount. I still walk away very satisfied with what I have and the price I spent on it. It is a very large store, so a person would need to have time to shop. My daughter is expecting a girl, so we bought 11 outfits, 1 blanket, and 12 pairs of tiny socks all for only $98.00. Online Shoppers BEWARE! Ordered 5 items online. Three of the five items that arrived were not what I ordered. The store will not take them back because they do not match the receipt. I have spoken to a dozen different people in customer service. A month ago I was promised a prepaid return label. It never came. Then I was promised a credit to my Kohls account three weeks ago. It still has not happened. So, I didn't have the Christmas gifts I ordered to give to the people I selected them for and my credit card bill is due in just a few days. I enjoy shopping at Kohl's however last couple times I've been there and checking out the coupons don't apply to what you are buying; for example I purchased more than $50 on women's clothing ( which bras and panties are clothing) and I'm told that those aren't clothing they are " intimates" and the $10 off $50 doesn't apply to "intimates" although it didn't say that on the coupon. So the salesclerk pointed out to me that the coupon would say "intimates" on the coupon. Hmmmm.... if it's excluded shouldn't it say it on the back? Never going back to Kohl's. The only reason we shop there in the first place is because they always have such great coupons and I can save money there. Today I was denied using a coupon on a pair of Nike shoes and a pair of Levi jeans. Apparently these brands will be excluded from all further coupons. I ordered pillows from online and I'm assuming they came from here because I got them in one day she this is the only Kohls in Redding. I ordered 4 JUMBO size pillows and paid extra for the size. When they came, they were standard. It really pisses me off that they dont pay enough attention to pack the right size. I mean cash coupon and when I went to use it she said I had returned something and it was voided.... WHAT... no I didnt!
