My wife and I visited Tutti Noi when it first opened and were disappointed. We chalked it up to opening jitters, and thought the restaurant was worth a second chance; so we visited again last night. The restaurant is contemporary, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting which is what we liked most. Unfortunately, we found the food mediocre. Fried calamari was chewy and less then crispy. I had the chicken parmigiana. The chicken was tough, the sauce lacked flavor; it would have been nice if I was offered grated cheese or fresh pepper. My wife had salmon, unfortunately bland. Our server was attentive, but cold. I really want this restaurant to be successful, it may be time for the chef to reexamine the recipes, and a fresh look at service. I LOVE Tutti Noi! The food and service are always excellent. I prefer this than any Italian restaurant, yes even the ones in Little Italy! For an appetizer we had the Antipasto Freddo, which has prosciutto, artichoke hearts, peppers, eggplant, olives and mozzarella. The appetizer was perfect because it was variety packed in one app! As main dish I ordered the cacio e pepe it's delicious, there is just enough pepper to give it a good flavor and the arugula is a great touch but is never overpowering. I always ask for mine with meat on the side, because I'm a vegetarian. Although, there was a mishap today and my main dish came out with meat the staff handled it very well. I get it mistakes happen, we're only human, but the staff was so apologetic I almost felt bad for being vegetarian! After the correction my food came out rather quickly and as always delicious. For my drink, I always love getting the Sorrentino, just a a slight lemon flavor. For dessert we had tiramisu and and affogato, which were both amazing. The tiramisu was super light and fluffy! Even after the complimentary bread, appetizer, main dish and dessert I leave full but not in a food coma which is rare with the Italian restaurants I've been to, their ingredients must be super fresh! read more

The wait staff is the only good thing about the restaurant; however, Taylor the bartender left a lot to be desired. Being generous, the food is mediocre at best. Additionally, the owner Tracy berates her staff loudly and in front of customers, which is not only unprofessional but also wholly inappropriate. I'm sure Tracy will say this is a fake review since that seems to be the go-to reply for every negative review but I can promise you will have a similar experience if you decide to chance a visit. Make sure you read this: STAY AWAY Do you really want to dine with a hostess and cook who will treat you like this: The trouble stared when: served a Lamb chop that was half FAT. The filet mignon was ordered medium rare, it was served RAW. We asked our waiter to get the hostess to address the problem. She told us that is the way it was prepared,(Lamb chop)"drop dead!" and walked away. The cook came out hostile and said there is fat in the cut and he will not do anything about the meat and stormed back to the kitchen. Only when our waiter calmed the situation did the cook substitute a raw filet mignon. When the other raw filet mignon were returned after a long wait they were under cooked as well. Their actions ruined our evening, we took the filet mignons home. The New Year's fix priced dinner, was very limited in choice and excessively over priced. The ceasar salad was good. The pasta was under cooked and average. The desset, a small plate of cookies with two mini cannolis (for four of us) and a glass of questionable champagne (was it real champagne?) at the end of the meal (really). read more

Just left my 60th birthday gathering with my immediate family at Tutti Noi in Oceanside, NY. It was simply divine. Their attention to every detail was greatly appreciated. The food and drink were so delicious not to mention the birthday Italian Cheesecake that was the perfect match to my double espresso with anisette! My boyfriend and I have been waiting to come eat here for months due to the coronavirus. Well we finally did. Gnocchi special. Chicken special. Eggplant tower... they make their own mozzarella ....amazinggggg. And we also had the shrimp Cocktail... jump fresh shrimp. Simply divine!! Not Welcomed If you are a normal person, who works hard - maybe 2 j - maybe a single mom, or not... just a normal person - chances are you WONT BE WELCOME here. Last night I wanted to take my son out for an authentic Italian dinner for doing really well academically. We found this place online, and although I've seen it before, I've never been. So we take our chances and walk in, hoping they'll have available seating. The hostess was an older woman with a slight accent. From where we were standing there were three empty four-tops, and one 6/8-top. She did ask if we had reservations, and scrunched up her face with an awkward smile while asking - and when I said we didn't she told us there were no tables. Not, it's a 15, 30 minute, or even one hour wait. Just, no. I asked if we could exit through the back door, since my car was in the back and it was 35 degrees out. 'No,' just 'no,'she said. I knew she was full of it - I'm a server and that's not how you tell customers there's no availability... especially when there were plenty of open tables. I called about 7 minutes after leaving. She answered, and I asked, "what's the wait time for 3, maybe 4 people?" "How soon can you get here," was her response. She said she'd have a table ready for me in 5 minutes!!! (If you're reading this - I gave the name Jessica). Also while leaving, a man walked in, looked at the available seating, and while standing at the door, waived for his wife to come in. They were welcomed and seated. 2 people. He wasn't wearing a suit and tie, no fancy up-scale attire, and neither was anyone in the place. Meanwhile, I was still in my work attire - I work at a law firm in garden city. I'm also a server on weekends, and also a really good tipper. Their loss. I went and spent good money elsewhere, and their server got screwed out of a great tip. ****Reply to Owner**** I kind of new you'd go with that, and I actually was hoping that would be the case (that you only really take reservations; even if poorly handled and rudely expressed by your hostess; and even if you did seat a two top that just walked in as we were leaving). That is exactly why I gave the benefit of the doubt - and I called. Not even 10 minutes later. Actually it was probably no more than 5, because I was upset. She had no problem taking a 3 or 4 top right away when I called, told me to come right over. So, that being said, my initial feelings and intuition seemed completely justified. My 13 year old son even felt it, and as we left said, 'I guess we're not fancy enough.' So yeah, given all that, I am implying that your hostess just didn't want OUR business. And that's fine, we gave it to someone else and tipped their server over 30% on an $80 bill (being in the industry and all). For a new place, I suggest you try a little harder to be more inviting and welcoming. read more

I don't understand how there are so many 5-star reviews. It is just a common restaurant at best. We had 7 o'clock reservations which the restaurant couldn't honor, so we sat at the bar and ordered cocktails. The drinks were small and weak and definitely not worth $12 each. Finally seated at 7:39. We ordered Bronzino and veal. The fish was not fresh and I returned it for pasta with clams and shrimp. The veal was not at all tender and tasteless. I gave a two-star review because I felt generous. I think those 5-star reviews are from relatives or employees. My husband and I went to the new Tutti Noi Restaurant in Oceanside with a group of our friends. The restaurant impresses upon entry with a simple elegance, grand without ego or pretension, designed by co-owner Tracy Sabella who also manages the restaurant with perfection. The evening was an extraordinary dining experience prepared by a culinary master chef Arthur Sabella. The ambiance feeds the senses, from the subdued lighting to the décor to the quite buzz of diners, one senses that an enjoyable experience is near. Our waiter was fully focused on explaining the menu choices. His attentiveness was impeccable, making suggestions to further enhance the experience. Impressive selection of fine wines. The bar itself was designed wide enough to accommodate guests who prefer dining at the bar. The dishes introduced to us epitomized the clean pure flavors of Italy, imported olive oil, artisan cheeses, herbs freshly picked, bronze cut imported pasta, garden bounty vegetables. It was explained to us that in an effort to preserve their powerful flavors and fragrances they keep the cooking techniques simple, slowing braising, roasting, sautéing. All the broths are made from scratch. The result is elegant, authentic and satisfying. Our appetizers were a blend of the most unusual combinations; burrata, nectarines, fresno chilies, white balsamic and honey, we also had Vongole e Salsicce Arrosto, roasted clams, sausage, sambuca infused broth, house made mozzarella, eggplant caponata, the main course was Ossobuco de Vitello, veal shank with risotto milanese and Salmone Scottato, salmon, artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes, baby spinach and white wine. We were a party of six, sharing the many dishes, every one a culinary experience, one of the pasta dishes was without question one the best most unusual I have ever tasted.. Cacioe Pepe, spaghetti alla chitarra, parmigiano, pancetta, arugula, butter, cracked black pepper! Every dish was prepared with precision and beautifully presented. The desserts are all house made.. cannoli, cheesecake, panna cotta and tiramisu. There are no words to describe these pure treats... except divine. The influence on the creation of clean food is nothing short of inspiring. Fresh herbs, sauces and flavors that remain with you long after you leave. In no way is this an average Italian restaurant with predictable menus. Tutti Noi is definitely not one of those - it is the embodiment of what fine dining is all about. I live in Manhattan and I'm a huge fan of Maialino and Scarpetta. Let's just say this Oceanside gem blew both of those restaurants out of the water! I started my meal with soft, doughy bread dipped in EVOO with grated cheese and spices. For my starter I had nectarines with melt in your mouth burrata (that rivals burrata I've had in Italy) drizzled with honey. The burrata was the perfect compliment to the fruit and the honey tied all of the flavors together perfectly. My mom had the antipasto with HOMEMADE mozzarella, roasted peppers and eggplant caponata, all made in house. For my main course I had the Osso Bucco with risotto. It was fall off the bone delicious and cooked perfectly. The vegetables and veal stock it was cooked with paired perfectly with the savory veal shank. For dessert we had the most moist and perfect Italian Cheesecake, lemon sorbet with strawberries, and chamomile tea. Even the honey dropper for my tea was cute and unique. This place has a high attention to detail and looks like a sleek restaurant you would find in the city. The servers were also attentive and outstanding. I would like to echo similar sentiments and reviews below that call out the lack of empathy and professionalism at this establishment. I tried to make a reservation via email on 1/29 for February 8th. They confirmed my reservation on email on 1/29 and because I didn't answer them asap with my phone number they cancelled the reservation. Pretty absurd considering we were more than a week out from the date. Meanwhile, I had spoke with Tracy the following day and confirmed the reservation with my phone number. I called today to give feedback on the experience and they basically brushed me off and hung up on me. They need to be on opentable or have a better system to keep track of reservations. I was so fed up with their attitude and overall lack of customer service and empathy that I will never dine at this establishment. Best of luck to them as they try to build a loyal consumer base. I went on a whim one night with my boyfriend and cousin and definitely was pleasantly surprised. The place is small and the staff is very sweet and welcoming. I wasn't very hungry so I got one of their special salads which I remember it having strawberries, feta, balsamic... I can't remember what else, but to this day I still crave that salad. I absolutely wouldn't recommend it here. I held off writing a review for a long time, but after reading some of the current ones, I felt it necessary. I came here with a reservation for 4 for 8pm. This reservation was made several days in advance. After arriving promptly on time, we were told there were no available tables. A bit weird considering a reservation was made but, we waited nonetheless. An hour passed and finally we were informed we'd be moving from the bar to a table at last. Not once were we offered at the least bread at the bar, and none of our drinks were complimentary. This was a bit of a harsh move, considering you have people waiting an entire hour after a reservation. This eventually led to my family leaving the restaurant around 9:15 without even enjoying the food. I'm sure it's all delicious but, so is my cooking at home. A huge draw of going to a restaurant is for its overall experience, and while the restaurant and menu are beautiful and alluring, the experience here was far from welcoming or warm, which seems to be a common consensus among the reviewers here that aren't clearly family and friends of the staff. The two stars are simply because I'm sure the food is great, I'll just never have the pleasure of trying it due to the way this establishment is run. With the right organization, a warm staff welcoming guests, and accommodating measures when the restaurant makes a very poor scheduling error, this place seems like it could be great. Truly a shame. Lastly, I wanted to add that the way that the less-glowing reviews are responded to really speaks volumes to what people are saying about the service here. We have frequented Tutti on several occasionsand usually against my better judgement, because we have had several bad experiances here, and I am not a fan, but my wife convinsed me to give them another try. I fail to see that the big hype is here and why they are getting all those 4-5 star reviews.The last and final time was a comolete disaster. Our waitress s actually very nice but as for her service, it was terrible, as she all but ignored us for the entire meal. As for the meal, it could be discribed as Ok, and not anything special. Our server Jen was great so with her service it was a pleasure however food to me and my guest wasn't as great. Started off with some apps the calamari was bland but the octopus was great and fresh. Everything came out at a reasonable time. Dinner now three out of four entrees were ok. My clams were chewy and hard to eat so I just ate my pasta. One thing we just didn't like and felt uncomfortable with is a male coming over to our table and felt as if he was speaking to us as if we were children. He just kept coming over and I understand it's good to have some team work but our server didn't Need the help she was great all alone. Then I'm guessing the cook past by and we made eye contact sent that guy over again to ask if we were ok, as if something was wrong just weird. May give another shot not sure. read more

Fabulous new Italian restaurant in Oceanside. A cozy and comfortable place with fabulous staff, attention to every detail. We started with a fabulous Cesar salad and a cold antipasto which was perfect for the 4 of us. I had the branzino which was grilled perfectly and served with roasted potatoes. We also had linguini with clams in a garlic and olive oil. My husband and the Sunday sauce which he said was outrageous. Desert was incredible. We had homemade ricotta cheese cake and the pistachio tartufo which was indescribable. Amazing restaurant and we can't wait to go back. read more
