I have finally found a top notch and reliable tutoring company in Tutor Doctor. From initial contact, to our consultation with Noel Zhang to the assignment of the most amazing, patient and knowledgeable tutor Joe Ibrani, our experience couldn't have been better. Noel understood our urgent need to get math tutoring for son who was struggling, barely keeping his head above water and his final exam was rapidly approaching. Although the time frame to find a tutor match could take about a week, she was able to match us up with the perfect tutor within days. Joe Ibrani was the perfect fit for our son. Joe made extra effort to work around my son's school and athletic schedule. He was very responsive in all his communications. He was also extremely patient and kind when working with my son. My son never felt embarrassed if he didn't understand something and he was able to let his guard down with Joe and learn in a comfortable environment. I can't say enough good things about Joe. I am so glad that I did not give up on my search for a tutor because Noel and Joe at Tutor Doctor have been such a blessing from the moment I connected with them. By the way, my son did well on his final exam and passed his class, which wouldn't have happened without Joe's help! We are so grateful and would recommend Tutor Doctor 100% based on our experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Highly recommend Tutor Doctor. read more

I contacted Tutor Doctor because I wanted my 3-yo son to maintain his learning progress that he made from his Montessori school while staying at home. After Tutor Doctor's call center understood what I wanted from their 1 on 1 at-home tutoring service, they immediately scheduled me a free education consultant session the next day so they could match us the best fit tutor with lots of Montessori experience. We can't not be more happier with their service. Highly recommend to anyone In need. read more

My son needed help getting up to speed in 6th grade algebra because we'd home-schooled him for 5 months and I didn't do any math. His tutor, Jon, had him completely caught up very, very quickly. The one-on-one sessions really make a difference, and I recommend the 1.5 hour session because your tutor can really get into the subject with your child and make sure they know the concepts without saving anything for "next time." I really loved the way Azita took time to get to know our son before matching him with a tutor--Jon was the perfect tutor for Jack. I can't recommend Tutor Doctor, Azita, or Jon highly enough. This was money incredibly well-spent. read more

Tutor Doctor was a great experience for my son. We just had it for a short duration but it helped him a lot and got him back on track. It was a great experience working with Noel (the coordinator). We were assigned a tutor that worked for my son without any delay. The best thing I liked about tutor Doctor is the flexibility to have your tutor help with another subject too, that really helped my high schooler and he got help in both math & Chemistry. Scheduling with the tutor was also very seamless and was overall a wonderful experience. read more

Our son with Aspergers was struggling to pass algebra 2 at community college. Tutor Doctor was AMAZING!!!!! We went from all F's, three semesters in a row, to a 94%!!!!!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Laren (our tutor), Azita (she matched us with Lauren), and Karen (the office manager). This has been a wonderful experience! read more

Researched a couple tutor services in a crunch as my high school Jr son was struggling in Chemistry late into semester. Slow on my end to get him one sooner, but Noel was amazing calming my anxiety and placing a tutor for my son within two days. She is very flexible and RESPONSIVE in timely manner, even late at night, Sundays or just last minute request day before. Pool of tutors to choose from come heavily qualified and professional. You can stay with one, but my sons hectic schedule with baseball had him working with a variety of staff. All very good to excellent in that he worked with Vesta, Corey, Aamir and Remington. Whether in person or virtual they were prepared and on time! As well compared to others, Tutor Doctor's fees are very reasonable. Noel expressed if not happy with a session within first 30 mins, you may halt session and there is no fee. Just great customer service by all staff! read more

My Daughter for years was having trouble reading, Every parent teacher meeting was the same she is falling behind on her reading and writing. This is a statement that not only was a fear to hear but devastating as a parent. Owners Azrita and Alex are very attentive and accommodating, they begin with a thorough interview process and accommodate our student's needs. They wore masks and conducted the meeting outdoors. Extremely helpful and beneficial for my son and daughter. My son took a practice SAT test sponsored by Tutor Doctor, and then the results were emailed within a day or two. We then scheduled a meeting to go over the results in detail with Azita who is an Educational Consultant with Tutor Doctor and she reviewed the practice SAT results in detail, told my son where to focus his studying, and then gave some great advice regarding what colleges are looking for in applicants. My daughter listened in too, so overall it was time extremely well spent. Very valuable. Thank you. read more

Hello, my name is Stephen Morgan ll and I recently entered into your program just a month ago. I needed someone who could successfully teach me Science and more importantly, Math. As I was aware that I would be matched with one of their tutors, I was nervous. I had limited time to pass both the science and math HISET exams. I was worried I wouldn't make my graduation. This is the situation I brought to one of their tutors just a few short weeks ago. During my first session with Priscilla, she understood my position and proceeded to say, "I promise I will explain things in a way that will help you understand". Then as we tackled the first set of science problems, I could see how important my success became to her. She is a phenomenal instructor and I felt that she went above and beyond for me. For example, our schedules posed a challenge in the beginning but Priscilla willingly would zoom with me late in the nights or early in the mornings. Also, she readily made herself available to offer her expertise by letting me message her problems at any point I felt stuck. Additionally, she would pull from every available resource and scout the internet to ensure that I understood everything. I ended up passing with a higher score that I thought I was capable of. I also felt confident when I took my test. Needless to say, I could not have done it without her. Priscilla has a contagious passion for math and science and she made me feel supported through her own grit and determination. Above all else, I am confident that Priscilla plays a pivotal part in an already impressive mission. To strengthen the human brain as educational difficulty ascends. It's clear that Priscilla understands that difficulty very well and ensures that her client walks away prepared to face their academic challenges. This program demonstrates amazing effort! I would encourage anyone who needs academic help to trust this program. It gives me great relief that when I find myself stuck again, I will have the people at tutor doctor to support me. read more

We've been using Tutor Doctor for several months now for our 6 year old son. I've got a baby at home and it's hard to give my 6 year old the time he deserves to assist him with his reading and writing. We wanted to give him the tools to excel and we feel that Tutor Doctor has really made a difference. Even his teacher has noticed a big difference in him. Nobody wants their kids to struggle and we are so happy that this has been the best decision we made for him. It's so convenient for me as I can be home preparing dinner while he is getting an hour of tutor time in. He loves his tutor, she is so good and patient with him. Being a 6 year old boy it's hard to keep his attention. His tutor always brings fun new things for him to do to keep him interested and having a desire to learn. She awards him when he does well and he really looks forward to his time with her. His tutor goes above and beyond to always text me to confirm the appointment and she is always on time. I highly recommend tutor doctor for kids of all ages. read more
