I had a great massage with Cameron. He was great! So 5/5 stars for Cameron!! CONS and why I gave this place 3 stars! 1st. It's in a medical supply and chiropractic Doctors office. Its not a massage or spa like atmosphere. 2. The 2 staff members at the front desk were talking my entire massage and you can hear them down the hall. Good thing the music was on kinda high in my room, but even with the zen music turn up high, you could still hear chatting from the front. 3. They make you sign medical forms & want you to use their Drs. They send you into another room after your massage to have the "chiropractor" look at your back. I don't want a chiropractor messing around with my neck or back. 4. Staff at front desk will then tell you you can pay $40 for a special X-ray, exam, chiropractor services ... etc that retails for $300-400 5. I came here for a massage. Horrible service. The receptionist didn't arrive until after my appointment was supposed to start so I arrived to a closed building.i purchased a Groupon for 3 deep tissue massages and the first was not deep tissue at all. I kept asking for her to get into the knots and she kept saying I was too tense so she would do what she thought was best. I paid for deep tissue massage because I fell down stairs during a seizure and needed to get my body worked on. I didn't need a weak back rub. The massage therapist left the door open and had a fan blowing on me the whole time even though people kept walking by the door. It seemed like it was a closet converted to massage room. The Dr goes back to speak with other patients during your appointment so you never get the full attention of the Dr. The pricing for the packages they have is outrageous and the Dr is condescending. read more

I found them first on a Groupon. The massage was reasonably priced, and decent. It's close to my house as well, I've been to many massage places just to find one I could commit to, and this place might be the one. I had Paula(sp?) on my second visit and she was lovely. Checked a few times to see how I liked the pressure and if I wanted any adjustments, but otherwise left me alone in peace and quiet. That's just the type of masseuse for me. I do not recommend this facility. I purchased 2 Groupon's as Valentines Day gifts for both my boyfriend and mother. Both of them had a horrible experience when calling and trying to schedule appointments. The receptionists were rude and said they are not schedule appointments for clients that purchased Groupon's until July or later and then they tried to up sell other services like body scans, therapeutic treatments and Chiropractic adjustments. I'm extremely disappointed that my family members were treated this way specially since this was suppose to be a special gift. Do not go to this facility unless you want to wait months to be seen and in the meantime up sold on unnecessary procedures. read more

2 stars for very well done, relaxing massages! Unfortunately, scheduling issues, poor communication, and lack of consistency cause my rating to drop significantly. I purchased 3 massages through Groupon in January. It was a great deal! First time I called, I left a voicemail asking someone to call back so I could make an appointment (I called during business hours and there was no answer). Waited 48 hours, no one called back. So I called again. Unfortunately, when I finally got a hold of the reception staff, I was told they were scheduling 3 to 4 MONTHS OUT due to a high volume of customers. I was not able to get my 1st massage until April. The next available massage appointment that worked with my schedule was in June. I scheduled my 3rd massage via telephone and the receptionist told me there was availability on Memorial Day. Great news! Or so I thought... I then get a call the week before the appointment to tell me my massage is cancelled because they are closed that day (then why was I booked in the first place?) I was told I'd be put "at the top of the list" for massage cancellations and that customers "cancel everyday." I probably received a total of 7 calls within a month, all appointment times I could not make due to working a regular 9-5. I never got my 2nd massage rescheduled, but had the previously scheduled massage in June. I show up 15 minutes early to the apt (which I booked months prior, mind you) only to sit waiting an extra 20 min past the appointment time. Turns out, my massage therapist didnt show up for work that day and no one bothered trying to contact her until I walked in the door. I was told she had a wrist injury, wasnt answering the phone, and the situation was "out of their hands." Luckily, they did reschedule me to the next day. I was able to receive an hour long massage, which was very well done! I would have loved to receive more massages from this place, but the lack of organization, communication, and inconsistency make me refrain from ever returning. read more

I Can Breathe! Before I met Dr. Laila and Dr. Nick, l couldn't breathe through my nose. Now I can breathe without using nasal sprays, medication, or essential oils. Here's how it started: Before I came in, I had to blow my nose every morning as soon as I woke up. Around May was my first visit to the chiropractor. As soon as I got my first adjustment, I sat up and could breathe through my nose! I haven't been able to breathe through my nose since before kindergarten. This review is related to massage. I received a Groupon gift certificate as a Christmas present for three "deep tissue or Swedish" massages. When I called to make an appointment the receptionist told me she was in the middle of returning calls received while she was at lunch and she would call me back when she had completed that task. Huh? When she finally returned my call it took several weeks to find an available appointment because they had "several Groupon customers to schedule". My massage was o. kay. The masseuse didn't stop talking the entire time. She asked how long it had been since I'd seen a chiropractor and when my last massage was. During the massage, She informed me I had a slight curvature of my spine and that a consultation with the chiropractor would address that. She told me this FOUR times. I learned about the $40 special that includes x-rays and a foot scan to learn if I needed shoe levelers. I told her i had insurance that covered chiropractic me care and she offered to take my insurance card up to the front when we were finished. So, I've had better massages. The foot massage places in the mall are way better. When I went to learn about the $40 special and schedule my next massage, the receptionist said, "I'm not an insurance specialist. After your second appointment, they will go over with you what your insurance covers." I replied i wasn't interested then. She asked me twice and stressed what a great deal it is and that it has a $500 value; why wouldn't I want to do it. Bottom line: I think this place uses Groupon to grow their chiropractic business by getting people to come for a massage and badgering them into trying other services and spending more money. I finished my massage and was looking for it everywhere and then she said I had left it there earlier. That threw me off! The massage was supposed to be for an hour but Rebecca did only for 45mins. First off, when you're running a business and trying to acquire new business from your promo deals on Groupon - you better WOW the customer. Second, when you run a reputable business - make sure to answer your calls or at least be available the next hour or day to take them. When you finally do pick up while I'm leaving you a voicemail - maybe don't transfer me and put me on hold 2 other times? Third, don't continue running Groupon if you are SO booked that you are booked up 3-4 weeks out and know that your 3 massage deal on Groupon expires in 90 days. *I have called this business about 12 times in 3 days and no one cares to answer. I tried to call 12 times over 3 days. When you finally do answer because I'm leaving you a voicemail asking why no one picks up, you are booked up to the point where it makes no sense to stress over using the Groupons on time. *I would highly advise you to make a wise business decision and stop running Groupon until you can handle it. If this is the treatment in just the beginning, I wouldn't trust this Dr with my care. The sad thing is that I'm always looking for a good chiropractor and holistic practice. I purchased this as a groupon for a deal - it came out to about ~$27 for one 60-hour massage. I was requested to come in 15 minutes early and fill the paperwork. Jackie, my masseuse, instantly made a good impression by actually reading it! You know how doctors/medical practitioners/therapists make you fill out pages upon pages and somehow ask you the same question that's on the page? Yeah, huge pet peeve. Anyway....she came in knowing exactly where things hurt, and asked if I wanted any other specific areas worked on. It was the most relaxing 1 hour I have ever experienced. She placed the right amount of pressure (I asked for the deep tissue massage), and was such a pleasure to talk with. It seems the prices are reasonable here as many people come in for a monthly massage. Their holiday special is 3 massages for around ~$149, which is a steal! If I lived in the area, I would frequent this place more. Lastly, one more plug for Jackie. I hands down would recommend her! Definitely request her for your upcoming massage, you won't regret it. read more

We found a deal on yelp for the massage. We went the massage was great, and we were sold on an consultation with the chiropractor. Consultation went okay, we were told our insurance copay is $50, so they will just charge just cash and match our copay so the office can save time on insurance paper work (lied to us). We agreed on 12 adjustments deal. 2 weeks later I called my insurance company and my copay was $15. We immediately called the office and they said oh but we offer wellness program and which others don't. Prior to us cancelling the packages we were paying the copay as we were using the services. The office staff was nice to us, we could cancel, reschedule anytime. Now we wanted to finish our yelp deal massage so called to schedule our last appointment. We were given an appointment 2 weeks out, which was fine because now they are "super busy" as we are not an regular customer. Monday - day of appointment, called to cancel the appointment due to unable to make it. 1st the girl at the desk said sure, then she said let me look you up... oh wait a minute the time changed, the staff that was nice became ass and said we will charge you $25 cancellation fees. Because if we had an emergency we had to call 24 hrs before (Sunday) since emergencies happens in advance and the girl knew ours wasn't an emergency, because she has magical powers? Since we are disgust by their "friendliness" we won't even use the last massage. They can keep it and buy some Halloween candy. All in all this place is there to make money and rip people off. They don't care about their patients, shame on the facility and the chiropractor to lead a business like this. read more

I purchased the Groupon deal for 3 massages. I just received massage number 2 and will admit that both massages so far have been very good! I had a different therapist each time and both were able to effectively get the knots out of my neck and I left feeling more relaxed. The only downside of this place is that they are clearly trying to sell their chiropractic services from these massages. I get asked multiple times about my current chiropractor whenever I'm there and feel the pressure to commit to their services, or purchase more massages. I haven't decided whether I will commit to purchasing more massages from there or not. Their appointments fill up pretty quickly and you generally have to book at least one week in advance. read more

This review is for the massage ONLY! This was my worst message. The lady who did my massage never introduced herself, so I don't know who she was. She starts off by asking if I ever had a massage. I said yes and sharply she asked "Where?" It's rude to ask. She immediately starts to tell me about the chiropractor package deal they have and I said I will talk about it with the front after the massage and she didn't care. She didn't get the hint and talked about it MOST of the massage. I came to relax and get my sore spots taken care of and for her to ramble about the package and try to maintain a conversation with me, took her focus away from the actual massage. Ok, so I live in the OC and these guys I picked from a long list of chiropractors turned out to be a very special group of people. They are not only experts at what they do but they truly care about your well being too. They take the time to actually explain everything about your condition and the treatments given in detail. The staff has been nothing but patient with me, specially, since I am a very difficult person to get along with when it comes to my health. I have three bulging disks in my lower back that sometimes rear their ugly heads in the form of sciatica down my right leg. But these guys have been persistent with following up with my treatments. I've been going to Nayab Wellness Center for about 7 months. Dr. Nayab is amazing! She genuinely cares for her patients and treat with TLC. This is not only with me, but I watch how other patients are treated and I truly feel that everyone feels the same way I do. The staff is amazing & kind. I initially started going in for lower back discomfort (being a student and also working from home, sitting all day really took a toll on me). Then, I was in a car accident, my therapy saved me! At times I have literally walked in feeling exhausted and down, but after my therapy and my adjustments my spirits lifted, I became energized, and walked out with a smile. Purchased a one time massage Groupon and had a great experience! Amanda was very professional and gave a wonderful, relaxing massage. As a part of the Groupon they have you meet with the doctor for a few minutes afterwards where she goes over problem areas and offers more chiropractic services. She wasn't pushy which I appreciated. Four star rating because of limited hours and availability (only open for massages on Thursdays) so with a busy schedule I had to book my appointment for two months in advance. This review is being written about 3 months after my first appointment with TBWB and will be update periodically. I was told I MAY have scoliosis when I was in middle school (you know when they have nurses that make you bend over in PE class and do an external diagnosis). I then when to my family GP and was told that it was nothing to worry about. At the end of my senior year in high school, I had gone to see my GP again and they had told me that I had scoliosis and that surgery was "recommended". I was PISSED. Anyways, long story short, I had gone to see a chiropractor a year later and was under the care of my previous chiropractor for a year. My previous experience wasn't that great so I discontinued. I felt that all they did was take an x-ray and "cracked my back". KEEP IN MIND EVERYONE: everyone's experiences are going to be different. I say: keep an open mind, have a goal, invest in yourself and never stop learning/educating yourself. The worst thing you can do is be driven by finances. If it matters (which, your LIFE DOES), find a way, otherwise, you'll be paying for it for the rest of your life. Here's my story: My symptoms were getting worse due to my scoliosis. I had a lot of gut issues, chest pains, always fatigued, I couldn't walk or stand for extended periods of time, I had at least 1-2 faint spells per year where my vision went white and I would hyperventilate for a good minute, pain, obviously, in my neck, entire back, and sacrum area, numbness in my left arm every now and then, breathing issues, severe menstrual pains, and the list goes on. I was told by my previous chiropractor that I had scoliosis and a forward head position and that it needed to be corrected by getting adjusted. Ok, meaning...? I was getting sick of my symptoms, being that I'm in my mid 20's and feeling like I was breaking apart already. A friend of mine had actually mentioned to me that she was going to see a chiropractor and that I should check it out. So I did. I attended a dinner seminar that TBWB was hosting and loved how the doctor emphasized education and spent some time with me answering my questions. I set up a follow up session where they took my x-rays and a foot scan (that was new!). I then came back on another day and literally got schooled. All I can say is the education itself was so worth the investment! I loved how they didn't just tell you what they were going to do, but why and the pros and cons of doing vs not doing. The staff is amazing, so sweet, and very understanding. Professional, yet has fun at the same time. There are 2 doctors and they are both very knowledgeable and you can tell by their energy that they love what they do and only want the best for your health. Only 3 months in and the majority of my symptoms have subsided and if not, it's not as severe. Everything is always a work in progress and TBWB just speeds up the process. I have been coming here for the past 6 months and I can't say how happy I am that I made that choice. I came in on a massage promo from groupon, and they were running a special on an adjustment and evaluation. It was great to learn more about my body and some of the aches and pains and what may be causing these issues. After a few adjustments my lower back pain subsided and I felt great. They also helped me by getting me orthotics and lifts for my shoes. This was huge for me since I am athletic and put a lot of wear and tear on my legs. The lifts in the shoes alone changed my life since one leg is significantly longer then the other. My hip pain vanished and I could exercise longer with less pain. I am ended my treatment plan soon and excite about the results, my posture is much better and I have much less pain throughout my body. Dr. Nick and dr. Leila are very knowledgable and can get help with anything from nutrition, adjustments, massages and any and all pain you may have in your body. Came in for a consultation on my stiff and sore neck and tight shoulders. I have been experiencing some mild headaches and generally not feeling 100% so I came in to get checked out. The girl at the front desk is very warm and welcomes you in and makes you feel at ease. She was very calming. Sometimes I get really nervous about doctors offices but she made me feel comfortable from the start. After I signed necessary new patient paperwork she had me watch an informational video from the chiropractor herself on education for chiropractic care and how your body moves and heals itself daily. After watching this I was given some X-rays to check my back and spine for any degeneration and bulging discs etc. these will be reviewed at my next visit. The next step was getting my adjustment by the make chiropractor. I'm awful with names but he has dark brown hair and he's tall. Very gentle and calm and has a good sense of humor (I make awful jokes). He was really amazing at explaining everything and did a thorough exam. His actual adjustments were the best I've ever had. I have seen a few chiropractors in the past but he really got in the spots that other doctors had missed before. I came to Dr. Nayab after 15 years of playing baseball in my childhood. After years of repetitive throwing and batting without proper stretching, I developed pain in my hips, lower back and right shoulder once I stopped playing. This went on for some time before I contacted a chiropractor. My first encounter with chiropractic was with an "old-school" style chiro doctor in 2012. He had been in the industry for over 30 years and had a good track record, but his lack of modern equipment caused me to plateau in my recovery. My appointments were every 6 weeks for "maintenance" and I noticed my pain would come back around the same time between appointments. It was time to look for a new chiropractor but I wasn't sure where to look. After browsing Groupon deals and checking reviews on Yelp, I found a good deal at Tustin Bodywork Bistro for a massage and 2 adjustments. On my initial appointment, the friendly staff ran a test to see where I held tension in my neck and back. Already a step above my previous chiro! Then, the masseuse used that info to work the areas that needed the most attention. When I came back for my adjustments, Dr. Nick and Brigette explained the results of the tests and what needed to happen to fix my issues. I felt like I had a thorough understanding of what caused my pain and the path to recovery. After the initial 2 adjustments, I signed up for a comprehensive care package that included adjustments and traction. Traction helps get your neck muscles strengthened so there isn't so much strain on your neck and head. You know, the kind you get from looking down at your phone or computer screen too long! Overall, my experience with Dr. Layla, Dr. Nick, Brigette and the rest of the team at Tustin Bodywork has been top notch. The massage Therapist has no massage skills at all and I was counting the minutes until my time was up. She was very tentative in giving me a massage and spent more time adjusting the sheet around me then massaging me. What was even worse, in the middle of the massage, she excused herself to go use the restroom and came back 5 minutes later. I purchased groupons for the massage group. I have for almost two months been trying to get my second and third massage. I finally asked to refund me since they could not reach their massage therapist and were looking for another, Instead they refused to refund and sent me to groupon. What started so well is ending in me realizing they have poor customer service and are poorly run. I also cancelled any chiropractic work , the massage is a lead in to getting an back evaluation. It sounded great and BTW you CANNOT refuse they WILL provide the back evaluation. I was even upset with that. I simply wanted what I came there for a MASSAGE and instead a runaround, Instead they are up selling me into back services and refusing to refund money when they no longer have a massage therapist. read more

You get what you paid for. I got a deal using either Groupon or LivingSocial. Upon arrival, they have to do a 'muscle' imbalance test where they didn't provide the option to opt out. This was said to provide the therapist a better idea of where to work on. I had tried massages both at the upscale and foot massage places and this place resembles more of a foot massage-type of place. I'm not even sure if the young girl is a licensed massage therapist because she did not look at my 'muscle' imbalance test results and still asked me where I needed the work. In addition to the massage being mediocre, my massage ended in 50 minutes instead of 60 minutes, which I had paid for. I will be careful to purchase any online deals in the future. I bought a Groupon deal for a 1 hour massage. The place is very nice but the massage session not so much. There were people right outside the door laughing and talking loudly the whole time, no music or aromatherapy inside, too much light, the ambiance sucked and it was really hard to relax, which defeats the purpose of a massage. The massage itself was alright, even though she stopped before the hour time, but everything else was terrible.
