    Sunrise from the porch

We stayed here for a 40th birthday weekend. We had 3 cottages all with great views of the bay. The common areas were amazing for hanging out by the water and even a few dinners. They provide kayaks we used to check out nearby mangroves and look for manatees. Fishing poles provided with a nearby bait shop to catch fish, we caught about 10 in one night. Dolphins were easily spotted from our front porch every morning. We enjoyed naps on our private hammock and even took a dip in our hot tub. The kids loved the pool while the adults hung out nearby. The room was a bit old Florida with decor. The staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations for nearby dining. We will definitely put this in our list of must return resorts.

I surprised my girlfriend with a quick get-away trip to Siesta Key and had the pleasure of staying at the Turtle Beach Resort. As soon as you walk in you cannot help but feel tranquil and serene. The landscaping and entire presentation was peaceful. Our cottage was pleasant, having our own kitchen and eating area was very convenient. The views?? Amazing. Waking up every morning ocean side with our own dock and jacuzzi facing the water was fantastic. The only downside was the activity equipment needs updating. When I expressed my concern to ownership, my feedback was heard and I was told that they will be updating the equipment relatively soon. The fact that my feedback taken seriously really shows how much ownership cares about their customers and it ensured that I will be returning again on my next visit to Siesta Key. Thank you again for a wonderful and pleasant stay!!

Loved this little slice of "old Florida"! Quaint, relaxed, quiet, tucked back with sweet surprises! Great view from our room Southwest- see photos. We enjoyed the pool, our private hot tub and an early canoe ride that yielded many photo opportunities! Walk Turtle beach grill was a short walk as was the trolley. Perfect! We will be back!!!

I visited this summer and stayed for one week. I stayed in Key West which has two bedrooms, an open floor plan with a kitchen table, kitchen area, and living area, hot tub, hammock, porch with a table and an additional table near the hammock and hot tub. The bedrooms were good size with spacious closets(enough room for vacation stay), dressers, a TV, and ceiling fan. The kitchen cabinets looked recently remodeled and there was an electric stove and stainless steel refrigerator. What I look for in a place is enough space to feel comfortable with other guests around, cleanliness, and up to date appliances. Not necessarily big on state of the art or top of the line but working condition and made within the last 5-7 years. The bathroom was nice but small(not enough room for two people to be in at one time comfortably such as if one person wanted to brush their teeth while another person wanted to utilize the hair dryer attached to the wall) and it had a shower but no bath which was fine for us but again something others may need and or want. The interior provided everything I look for and I felt it was clean. One thing I'll mention is the place I stayed did not have a dishwasher which wasn't a big deal to us but could be to others. We used their chairs and umbrellas. They were satisfactory. Some of the chairs had more rust than others and parts of the umbrellas poles had rust on them as well. We used their bikes which were in okay condition. In addition, we utilized their kayaks and one was in good shape while the other had a seat with a broken strap but otherwise in working condition(3 kayaks total available for use and a canoe). The hot tub was newer looking, clean, and able to be used in sun or light rain as there is a roof overtop. We prepared a couple dinners on the outdoor gas grill which had an extra propane tank available for when the current one ran out. The pool was nice and there were plenty of comfortable furniture to sit on in different areas around the pool. I also used the swing on the deck a couple times which was nice but could use a new paint job and showed rust on the chains. All in all I recommend this place and would stay here again. I think some of their outdoor physical equipment could use some extra tlc but to us it wasn't enough to worry about. It was especially nice to stay at a place that had all the amenities and activities provided to utilize at our leisure and the landscaping surrounding the buildings is beautiful.

    View from pool area.

Paradise. If you like hanging outside in a hammock, sitting on a swing on a dock overlooking the bay, kayaking through the mangroves or to a private beach, fishing, or relaxing by the pool then this is the place for you. There's so much life in the bay that this resort sits on. The mullet continuously are jumping out of the water. You can see schools of fish everywhere around the grass beds and sandbars. We saw dolphin feeding this morning 100 feet off the dock. We caught 2 keeper drum right off the docks. They have grills right there so you can cook your catch if you're up for it. The staff was great! They were extremely friendly and helpful with any questions we had. We've vacationed in Siesta Key and Turtle Beach many times and this is our favorite spot. We would definitely return. Keep in mind, they have 2 locations. One family friendly and one that's more geared towards couples. We stayed in the more family friendly one with our young kids and close friends and their child.

The price is high $600+ per night but I do like good service so I thought this time I would give it a whirl.... HUGE MISTAKE!!!!! Usually i stay at Lido Beach or Ritz & I will for sure be doing that from now on. This place is a huge disappointment. EVERYDAY we were woken up at 7am to carpet construction happening throughout the building & when they weren't ripping the carpets up & leaving crime scene tape across your room door every time you do in or out - you get to rip down tape. There are no signs saying why there is tape hanging everywhere just tools left lying in walkways everywhere. They left the carpet peeled back with carpet glue exposed in the whole hallway from the elevator & I stepped in it ruining my sand led & pants there was glue all over. I asked for the manager and there was NO MANAGER ON SITE THE ENTIRE HOLIDAY WEEKEND!!!! Are you kidding me? The power wash i g & pounding at 7am continued the entire trip, we were exhausted. When i did finally speak to the manager on our check out day ... she said she would follow up & take care of all the issues. LIE! This has not happened at all i have $430 of ruined clothes because they do not understand how to close a wing down as they do repairs. It's the Hyatt you can afford it. You dont charge someone $600 a night to vacation through construction. We will never do another Hyatt again. I was told this issue would be handled swiftly... it's now 2 months later & I haven't gotten a single response. Such service lol

One night in unit 101 which is an efficiency style unit, 260sq ft, was $252. The rental included self parking with my own dedicated spot, which was perfect because I was driving there. The office sent me a text and an email with check in instructions. The room was clean and well stocked. My only qualm was that the toilet barely flushed. It looked like it was going to overflow every time you flush is and the toilet paper would just linger in there until it decomposed. Yes, there was a plunger in there but I wasn't about to get to work on that toilet. Nope. Instead I planned to just toss the paper in the trash and find another place to go #2 if I had to. The fridge kept my drinks and snacks cool. I did not use the cooking stuff. I wanted to use the coffee maker but there were no filters (I brought my own coffee grounds). They had some pre packaged stuff, but I opted not to use it. There were some snacks with the coffee creamers etc but the date on the peanuts was May 2024 so I didn't bother looking at anything else. The towels were nice and soft. The water pressure was insane. The kitchen sink pretty much assaulted me when I turned it on. The shower and bathroom sink were just as powerful. Water temp was good. The room itself was very cool, had a NOISY but powerful AC. It clunked every time it reached temp and turned off. Wear ear plugs. Beach access was a short walk away, as well as a wonderful breakfast spot (toasted mango), awesome ice cream place (Jake's) and delicious deli (Anna's). I walked everywhere. There are nearby fancy restaurants and local bars and the marina isn't far at all. I walked there too. I'd say this place overall was great value and very safe. I appreciated the community pool and beach access. I had my own chairs and umbrella, so I did not rent. I would stay here again. This is a quieter side of the island compared to the village.

We had a miscommunication about payment (it's cash or money order ONLY, due up front, unless you PayPal 7 days in advance) and that was not made clear enough considering how out of the norm that is--at least, I've only ever stayed in places where your pay upon departure. Especially since I believed my credit card was on file as they used it to collect the deposit. Anyway, no one was there to check us in in person and no one was there to collect a check on Day 1. We called to check in & were told keys were on the table, but there was zero mention of payment. On Day 2, that night we needed a few extra blankets and called for assistance. Only then did they realize they forgot to collect payment, which I said I did not have because I expected to pay via card. It was late, so I said I would do my best to get a money order the next day. Day 3, we had a boat tour and massages booked and planned to get a money order after those plans. However, the harassment started EARLY this day and management (the brother) texted, called and harassed my friend (we checked in on her phone) all day, even though she assured him we would get the money order when we had time. He harassed her ALL DAY regardless--it's clear he had made a mistake and was trying to quickly fix it, even though we had no way to address it until after our massages. As soon as we were done with massages we ran around town in the pouring rain trying to get a money order but kept running into roadblocks (machines not working, couldn't take out more than $500, etc). When I explained that we only had $500 but could try again the next day (our stay was 5 days) he threatened to KICK US OUT and call the police. I'm shaking as I write this and remember this because it was incredibly alarming. Eventually he said we could PayPal WITH AN ADDED 3% FEE, which is substantial on a 5-night stay. And even worse, REFUSED to collect the $500 money order we had spent half the day trying to obtain. We called the person we booked with (the sister) to complain about this treatment, and she said "So you're saying my brother is a liar?" No apologies, no indication that it was a misunderstanding, no leniency. It ruined the evening and put a dark cloud over the rest of the trip. Also, this place was not clean, there were ants everywhere, furniture drawers were broken and you have to pay a $200 cleaning fee even though you need to start the laundry, take out your own trash and do your own dishes. It's my understanding that they sold this place for a bunch of money (according to some guests who were also staying here), which could explain the lack of concern for their guests. Stay somewhere else.

The emails went over key points, gave website and photo gallery information, and more. The website itself had so much information about the location. The boutique resort is about 0.8 miles from siesta key beach. We had friends staying at Siesta Royal Apartments, so we had free parking, and I cannot attest to the public access beach nearby. Siesta Key Palms Resort was so cute! It was a little difficult to find the office when we first arrived, but that's only because we parked in the back lot. Once I checked in at the office, the gentleman was very nice, helpful, and knowledgable of the area. He recommended beach access and restaurants on a large map, went over the amenities, showed me to my family's room with a quick tour on the way, and was very friendly overall. We stayed in room number 3, a studio room. We walked in and had a workspace desk for 2 chairs, that opened for more table space. There was a queen size bed, a pullout full size sofa, mini fridge, microwave, stove/oven, sink, dishes, a coffee table, and a nice sized flat screen tv. There was a 3/4 bathroom with a large shower and medicine cabinet. They even had body wash, shampoo, and conditioner attached to the shower wall, in dispensers! We had a private patio area out the back door, with a wooden 6' privacy fence, little water fountain, 4 chair/table/umbrella patio set, and a bar bistro table set for 2. The decor was beautiful! Now, that's all INSIDE our room. The actual resort itself is amazing. There's lush vegetation everywhere, colorful hammocks and chairs outside, TWO heated pools (one 21+ and one for families), pool play toys/floaties, sandy "beach" areas, gazebos, hanging pool furniture, grilling area, laundry, ice, screened in game room, and more! They also had bikes to rent for FREE (not for children, though). In summary, I highly recommend this boutique hotel. So cute, great communication from management, friendly and helpful office staff, groundskeepers, and housekeeping. We will most definitely be returning here next time!
