We just loved our stay here. i was just PERFECT in every way. Dan is wonderful to work with.

My family had a great time here. Staff was great, views were amazing, and the feel of this bungalow reminded me of how the beach should be. I would stay here again and again. Just minutes away from a few local bars. Five Stars

We stayed in the Coconut bungalow right next to the main courtyard and loved every minute of it.

The price is high $600+ per night but I do like good service so I thought this time I would give it a whirl.... HUGE MISTAKE!!!!! Usually i stay at Lido Beach or Ritz & I will for sure be doing that from now on. This place is a huge disappointment. EVERYDAY we were woken up at 7am to carpet construction happening throughout the building & when they weren't ripping the carpets up & leaving crime scene tape across your room door every time you do in or out - you get to rip down tape. There are no signs saying why there is tape hanging everywhere just tools left lying in walkways everywhere. They left the carpet peeled back with carpet glue exposed in the whole hallway from the elevator & I stepped in it ruining my sand led & pants there was glue all over. I asked for the manager and there was NO MANAGER ON SITE THE ENTIRE HOLIDAY WEEKEND!!!! Are you kidding me? The power wash i g & pounding at 7am continued the entire trip, we were exhausted. When i did finally speak to the manager on our check out day ... she said she would follow up & take care of all the issues. LIE! This has not happened at all i have $430 of ruined clothes because they do not understand how to close a wing down as they do repairs. It's the Hyatt you can afford it. You dont charge someone $600 a night to vacation through construction. We will never do another Hyatt again. I was told this issue would be handled swiftly... it's now 2 months later & I haven't gotten a single response. Such service lol

We stayed in the Nook which is a one bed/one bath dog friendly unit. The property is absolutely beautiful! The plants/flowers/fruits, the pool, 2 grills, a fire-pit under the cabana; just to name a few highlights. One of many favorites is the fact that they have made it convenient for their guests to use the floats in the pool. If you head to the beach they provide beach/pool towels in the unit but outside they have a section where you can borrow beach wagons, beach chairs, umbrellas, and those foam surf boards I can't think of the name. They also have balls, sand castle making kits and various outdoor games. There are also some bikes you can use! In the unit- NOTHING WAS MISSED! Towels galore, the kitchen fully stocked with utensils and anything you may need. The bathroom was absolutely gorgeous! The bed is super comfy, king sized. I absolutely loved the high-tech stuff such as the AC remotes being available separately in the living room and bedroom; the rooms also had remote controlled ceiling fan/light. This unit is so CLEAN...I mean...certified neat freak clean. I genuinely couldn't believe the other reviews mentioning how clean everything was- now I am witness. I love it here! This is 1/3 of the cost so I'd say it's a good value. Also feels like a family owned type of deal which was nice to see. I didn't spend a lot of time in the common areas, so cannot comment much on the state of the pool or tiki bar other than that they looked well kept. On fri/sat nights there was a solid crowd using both. I was able to find some secluded areas with hammocks and fire pits, which I appreciated. My room had a spacious and fenced back yard with multiple tables and an umbrella. There is smoking allowed in the yards and a few times I could smell my neighbors cigarettes while outside. Not a huge deal. Stove, kitchen sink, microwave, mini fridge, and tv in my unit as well. Lots of utensils and plates in the cabinets. Only takeaways I could note that keep my review from being a perfect 5 stars - the parking situation is rough. The front lot was always full due to how small it is. The back lot is unpaved and shared with the public tiki bar. Tight lanes and cramped spaces that are flooded with drunk people leaving at night since they aren't staying at the hotel. I didn't feel my car was very safe from scratches/bumps on weekend nights. Also the unpaved lot kicked up lots of dust onto my luggage and shoes, which ended up all over the inside of my car. It's gravelly mud as well so it's stuck to my seats and floor mats. Probably was worse than usual since i was loading my luggage after a night of rain. That being said, the parking was free. So take this relatively menial issue as you will.

One night in unit 101 which is an efficiency style unit, 260sq ft, was $252. The rental included self parking with my own dedicated spot, which was perfect because I was driving there. The office sent me a text and an email with check in instructions. The room was clean and well stocked. My only qualm was that the toilet barely flushed. It looked like it was going to overflow every time you flush is and the toilet paper would just linger in there until it decomposed. Yes, there was a plunger in there but I wasn't about to get to work on that toilet. Nope. Instead I planned to just toss the paper in the trash and find another place to go #2 if I had to. The fridge kept my drinks and snacks cool. I did not use the cooking stuff. I wanted to use the coffee maker but there were no filters (I brought my own coffee grounds). They had some pre packaged stuff, but I opted not to use it. There were some snacks with the coffee creamers etc but the date on the peanuts was May 2024 so I didn't bother looking at anything else. The towels were nice and soft. The water pressure was insane. The kitchen sink pretty much assaulted me when I turned it on. The shower and bathroom sink were just as powerful. Water temp was good. The room itself was very cool, had a NOISY but powerful AC. It clunked every time it reached temp and turned off. Wear ear plugs. Beach access was a short walk away, as well as a wonderful breakfast spot (toasted mango), awesome ice cream place (Jake's) and delicious deli (Anna's). I walked everywhere. There are nearby fancy restaurants and local bars and the marina isn't far at all. I walked there too. I'd say this place overall was great value and very safe. I appreciated the community pool and beach access. I had my own chairs and umbrella, so I did not rent. I would stay here again. This is a quieter side of the island compared to the village.

Couches/ chairs were old and gross and needed sheets on them. Location is a 5 star but accommodations w roaches isn't even a 1 star. I let the owner Paul know as soon as we saw the roaches we had a problem. We counted over 20 and they were out day or night so it was not just a little problem. I own several rentals myself so I'm pretty understanding but it was an infestation. After complaining a couple days he finally came in to see and we showed him where they were coming in the bathroom and kitchen. They were caught all over our tooth brushes and even after he filled the open holes in the wall they still got in. He basically said it was in our unit the the one above... I have never ever left a bad review but to this day we have not received our deposit back and I just want people who are looking for a nice place close to the village to be aware.

We had a miscommunication about payment (it's cash or money order ONLY, due up front, unless you PayPal 7 days in advance) and that was not made clear enough considering how out of the norm that is--at least, I've only ever stayed in places where your pay upon departure. Especially since I believed my credit card was on file as they used it to collect the deposit. Anyway, no one was there to check us in in person and no one was there to collect a check on Day 1. We called to check in & were told keys were on the table, but there was zero mention of payment. On Day 2, that night we needed a few extra blankets and called for assistance. Only then did they realize they forgot to collect payment, which I said I did not have because I expected to pay via card. It was late, so I said I would do my best to get a money order the next day. Day 3, we had a boat tour and massages booked and planned to get a money order after those plans. However, the harassment started EARLY this day and management (the brother) texted, called and harassed my friend (we checked in on her phone) all day, even though she assured him we would get the money order when we had time. He harassed her ALL DAY regardless--it's clear he had made a mistake and was trying to quickly fix it, even though we had no way to address it until after our massages. As soon as we were done with massages we ran around town in the pouring rain trying to get a money order but kept running into roadblocks (machines not working, couldn't take out more than $500, etc). When I explained that we only had $500 but could try again the next day (our stay was 5 days) he threatened to KICK US OUT and call the police. I'm shaking as I write this and remember this because it was incredibly alarming. Eventually he said we could PayPal WITH AN ADDED 3% FEE, which is substantial on a 5-night stay. And even worse, REFUSED to collect the $500 money order we had spent half the day trying to obtain. We called the person we booked with (the sister) to complain about this treatment, and she said "So you're saying my brother is a liar?" No apologies, no indication that it was a misunderstanding, no leniency. It ruined the evening and put a dark cloud over the rest of the trip. Also, this place was not clean, there were ants everywhere, furniture drawers were broken and you have to pay a $200 cleaning fee even though you need to start the laundry, take out your own trash and do your own dishes. It's my understanding that they sold this place for a bunch of money (according to some guests who were also staying here), which could explain the lack of concern for their guests. Stay somewhere else.

We ordered crab cakes for appetizers but I think due to it being so late the gentleman forgot the order which was fine so we ordered a Peach Margarita which was quite well but just request for lite ice. The shrimp was large and decorated on the top of the linguine noodles. Now it does a red pepper flakes all through it even though it's not mentioned on the menu. The noodles could have been cooked a little tad more but it was delicious through it all. The waiter was very busy but still took time to come and check on us from time to time. The hotel itself was miraculous located downtown area. You can see the water which is right across the street but because of us having a Penthouse the view and seeing the sunset made it more elegant than ever. The hotel itself is overpriced in my opinion. There are "destination" fees of $28/ day but you can use it as a credit in their restaurant. Make sure you use it because you will be charged either way. Pet fee was $75, my pup loved the room and going on walks nearby but there wasn't a designated pet relief area which would've been nice for night time . However the area is extremely walkable. Parking was about $40 / night I think but we parked on the street for free. Breakfast is included and their buffet is decent. Be sure to get your omelette made to order by Rayna. Also, make sure you don't miss their nightly reception hour with two free drinks and light snacks. The rooms are large and are your typical embassy suite with kitchenette area and living room. Beds were super comfy and the shower was nice and hot. All of the staff was very friendly and super accommodating. I wish the pool was heated or they had a hot tub because it is absolutely gorgeous but too cold during my stay. All in all, a great choice for the area! I would definitely stay again but I would be sure to price around because there are quite a few hotels in the area.
