This is a cute bungalow style hotel that is only a couple minutes walk to the gorgeous white sands beach I'd Siesta Key. Upon arrival I was greeted and assisted by a very friendly staff member. Checkin was quick and easy. She provided a handful of local restaurant suggestions, beach activities, and explained the hotel's amenities which include a pool, laundry facilities, and free Wi-Fi. The room was studio style with a queen bed and kitchenette. Unit 102 comes with a refrigerator, stove, coffee pot and a few cooking utensils. The room was super cozy and clean and was just perfect for my one night stay. One assigned parking spot is provided. You're a few minutes walk to the beach area. Or a tip only shuttle over to the bars and restaurants areas. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a great stay for one night. It's a short walk down to the beach. Janna at the front desk was very helpful. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen, room, shower, all great. Courtyard had a great ambience. Cool place to relax and get away.

We only stayed 1 night but we had an excellent stay. I've stayed at Captiva also but I liked the room and grounds at this resort better. Nicely lit and landscaped. Cute patio furniture and a lovely room. One reason I liked the Capri over captiva was the shower. The one at the Capri was way better and so was the water pressure. We checked in after hours and thankfully I called and got instructions on late check in. It was super simple. The room was adorable (see pics) and I love the little street it's on and it's a walk to the beach. Definitely will return when I come down to visit my friend.

Beautiful little studio, a stone throw away from the beach. The private beach was awesome. Staff always friendly and beyond helpful. Will definitely make another trip there..

Chest of drawers in 107.

My husband and I spent three nights at The Capri over Labor Day weekend in celebration of my birthday. We stayed in 107, the Deluxe Suite. We'd never been to Siesta Key before, and WOW was it fantastic to have Becky (the manager) tell us the key points to know - how to get to the village, good places to eat, what to do on the beach - as well as welcome us to The Capri. She couldn't have been a better "welcome wagon"! Room 107 is the largest of all accommodations at The Capri. It is very well kept and updated, and provided everything we needed - oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, dishes, glasses, utensils, coffee and coffee maker, creamer, salt/pepper, pots/pans, toaster, blender, and a nice dining area both inside and outside of the room. I found the bed to be comfy, but it was the only complaint my husband had. His back hurt every day after sleeping in that bed. The bedroom itself has a nice chest of drawers and a sizable closet (with bathrobes!), along with a flat screen television. The living room was large with a couch, chair, coffee table and another flat screen. It was in the living room that we primarily accessed the complimentary Wi-Fi, and it was FAST! The bathroom was nice and clean, and I would have loved more counter space, but what can you expect at the beach, right? It was ample for what we needed, but I kept a few of the toiletries in the toiletry bag and hung it behind the door. Though there is no scheduled daily housekeeping service, if you need to have any cleaning done, it's a phone call away. Otherwise, you can exchange your bath towels and beach towels simply by placing them in the provided tote, right outside your door. The next day, the housekeeping staff will provide you with clean replacements (as well as a little surprise - Ritz Bitz peanut butter sandwiches). The Capri offers a room where you can borrow beach toys as long as you return them, and also pick up extra supplies like toilet paper, coffee, creamer, dishwashing detergent, and other items that might need replenishing. There are even beach chairs to borrow or you can rent them at the beach. We brought our own beach chairs, umbrella and table, and never had an issue finding a good spot on the beach, even during the busy holiday weekend. I also love how the front office offers DVDs for free use. Just watch your movie and return the DVD, and grab another one. Or, grab two! Or, three! Just return them to the front desk when finished. We used Jerry's Siesta Key Free Ride to get from The Capri into the village each evening. It's about a 3-mile drive and rather than dealing with parking (which can be quite an issue in the village), we would simply call Jerry for a ride to the village, and then call back when we were ready to go back to The Capri. He and his drivers work on tips only, and drive little electric vehicles that seat 5 passengers. It's really the best way to get around, and it's reliable and fairly quick! They'll even offer you a $5 coupon to use at certain businesses. This was our first trip to Siesta Key and The Capri. We loved it, and will be back!

Siesta Key Beach - Drinks at the beach

Siesta Key Beach

(932 reviews)

Siesta Beach Experience…read more Overview: Siesta Beach is widely recognized as the number one beach in the United States. During our visit, we found the beach area to be exceptionally clean, featuring powdery white sand that added to the overall appeal of the location. The unique sand texture and well-maintained environment contributed significantly to our enjoyable experience. Parking and Arrival Tips: We parked near the Snack Bar and Gift Shop at the northern end of Siesta Beach. Although there is a substantial amount of parking available, the spaces tend to fill up quickly, especially during peak times. It is advisable to arrive early to secure a parking spot, as finding a vacant space can become challenging later in the day. Water Quality and Shoreline Experience: The water at Siesta Beach was exceptionally clear, offering excellent visibility. Near the shore, the depth was shallow, making it easy and comfortable to relax in the low points. The waves were gentle and calm, creating an inviting environment for lounging and wading. During our stroll along the beach, we discovered several shells, adding an enjoyable element to the shoreline experience. Beach Access and Amenities: Reaching the water requires a lengthy walk across the beach. To assist visitors, mats are placed at certain locations on the beach, making the walk easier and more comfortable. The Snack Bar offers a variety of food and drinks, providing convenient options for refreshments. Adjacent to the Snack Bar is a Gift Shop, which sells a range of beach-themed items and clothing, enhancing the Siesta Beach Experience. They do have a QR code they you can order food, drinks, beach chairs and some other items to be delivered to you behind the life guard stands on the Beach in case you forget your own, kind of cool, I think. Overall Impression and Rating: Based on my experience at Siesta Beach, I confidently rate it 5 out of 5 stars. The exceptional cleanliness, powdery white sand, clear water, and convenient amenities all contributed to an outstanding visit. After seeing firsthand why Siesta Beach holds the distinction of being the number one beach in the United States, I wholeheartedly agree with its reputation. Gulf Coast Terry

We drove around for about 20 minutes, looking for parking till we finally found a couple that was leaving. No matter what time you visit it's busy but the beach itself it's definitely worth it. !! A little warning it was a bit of a walk to get to the water. This is my favorite kid friendly beach. The water doesn't dip off like Venice and You can actually walk out comfortably with children. Another pro is that there's plenty of shower areas throughout the beach line. Ps: On Sundays they have a drum circle which is always a good time to see people drumming and dancing.

It's not a local favorite, it's one of the quieter destinations in the area for visitors looking for peace on their trips to one of the most popular islands in the U.S. With its sweeping coastline carves out a huge "C" where it meets the Atlantic Ocean (the crescent shape, of course, giving the area its name). it maintains an "old Florida" vibe as a quieter beach with white sand and is primarily residential. If you're staying along Crescent Beach, your accommodation may provide roped-off sections of glorious white sand for your enjoyment. beautiful crescent moon-shaped beach, just right for laying out on or for strolling the strand. Soft gulf breezes. Breathtaking sunsets. It gets no better. Parking: We used public beach access # 12 (I guess there is just one public access road, Midnight Pass Rd, and it's very easy to miss). it's a cramp, one-way alley and only suitable for compact cars. to go back, drive forward, take a K-turn, and merge into the main street. yup as it's one way you can find yourself stuck when someone comes from the same side. see the pic and you would understand.
