WOW! WOW! WOW! ASAP Restoration and Construction is the real…read moredeal! If you're dealing with fire or water damage, do yourself a favor and do your research before hiring just anyone. We learned the hard way that many companies make big promises just to win your business. In our case, we had over $500,000 in fire and water damage, and it seemed like everyone else was more concerned about their profit margins than helping us. Some even tried to play games with the insurance company by requesting payment for items that weren't warranted. ASAP Restoration was completely different. They were honest, upfront, and transparent from day one. They took the time to review every budget, selection, and step of the process with us, making sure we understood everything along the way. The entire team is outstanding, and Josh, the owner, truly leads by example. He tells it like it is, doesn't overpromise, and works tirelessly to make sure things get done the right way. His communication is second to none,I'd much rather have someone who over-communicates than leaves me wondering what's happening. Our biggest delay wasn't ASAP at all, it was our mortgage company and lender taking their time to release funds. Throughout that entire process, Josh worked alongside us every step of the way, helping us navigate the challenges and keeping the project moving whenever possible. The finished product looks incredible, and looking back, the extra few weeks it took to get on their schedule was absolutely worth the wait. If you're looking for a restoration company that values honesty, quality, communication, and truly cares about its customers, I can't recommend ASAP Restoration and Construction enough. Thank you to Josh and the entire team for making a difficult situation so much easier!

Before the plumber even arrived, three different restoration companies showed up at my door. The strange part? I never called any of them and nobody told me anyone was coming out. I did overhear one of the technicians I allowed in for a "free evaluation" on speakerphone with the plumber asking if a $2,000 finder's fee sounded reasonable. I kept my mouth shut but it definitely raised some red flags. I listened to all three companies separately and then decided to do some serious research online. While some companies have plenty of glowing Google reviews, once you start looking at other sources like Yelp, the Arizona ROC, and the BBB, the picture can look very different. Consider this a friendly warning to homeowners: do your homework. After digging deeper, I was fortunate to find ASAP Restoration. One thing that immediately stood out is that they do not work referral deals with plumbers, do not pay kickbacks, and do not play games with deductibles. They simply focus on doing the job correctly. The team was extremely professional. The mitigation/demo crew handled the water damage quickly and thoroughly, and the reconstruction team has been excellent. We're now about 90% finished with the rebuild and everything is coming together great. I just felt the need to share my experience before heading out for spring break. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, take a breath, do your research, and call a company that focuses on integrity and quality work. For me, that company was ASAP Restoration.

My husband and I recently bought our first home, and while trying to complete some minor upgrades, we discovered mold. We immediately panicked, assuming the absolute worst. After reading their excellent reviews, I decided to give them a call--and I am so glad I did. Everyone who came out to our house was incredible, friendly, and deeply professional. They made an incredibly stressful situation completely painless, and they treated our home as if it were their own. One important tip for future customers: This company focuses strictly on remediation, meaning they do not handle the reconstruction or repairs (like replacing drywall) once the mold is gone. This wasn't an issue for me--I simply called around and found a local contractor to patch things up afterward--but it's important to go in with the right expectations and always ask questions! The team members we worked with deserve individual recognition: Brandan came out first to rule out any active plumbing leaks. Once he confirmed the mold wasn't plumbing-related, he kindly offered to inspect the rest of our new home's plumbing. He caught a few minor issues, explained his recommendations clearly, and provided no-pressure quotes. We are so relieved to finally have a trustworthy plumber on speed dial! He then immediately looped in their mold specialist, Ruben. Ruben arrived the very same day to assess the mold and provide a fair quote. He was incredibly sympathetic to our situation and reassured us that he would remove as little material as possible while keeping the home safe and thorough. We immediately knew we were in good hands. A few days later, Ruben and Ivan completed the work. They were punctual, efficient, and surprisingly quiet. Not only did they finish on time, but they also managed to save an entire wall and our builder shelves. Because they saved the wall, Ruben actually adjusted our final invoice down to reflect the lower material removal--a massive financial relief for first-time homebuyers. Ruben took extensive photos, walked me through the containment zone to explain their findings, and even returned the next day to walk my husband through the exact same breakdown so we were both fully informed. The final report they provided was incredibly thorough, detailing every single step with photographic evidence. My husband can be very picky about contracted work, and even he was completely impressed and had zero critiques. We were so incredibly stressed, and the calm presence and expertise this team brought into our home was invaluable. After a separate, highly disappointing experience with a different local plumbing company just days prior, "Good Time" completely restored our faith in local businesses. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

This review is for the first one, a bedroom ceiling/roof leak that needed mold mitigation, asbestos testing and renovation. March 2025: Leak originally started as a moisture spot on the ceiling in October 2024 but my HOA ignored it. By March 2025, the ceiling had become so compromised that water streamed in like a waterfall during a massive storm. My original contact was Noah - he gave me an estimate (along with two other companies). I really appreciated how Noah was communicative, informative and thorough. And! he didn't badger me w/ phone calls & emails, like the other two companies did. He understood that I said I would take care of the situation when I could b/c I was in the middle of Massage Therapy school. I understood the "risks" of having mold & just shut the bedroom off. Fast forward to August 2025 & now we're ready to take care of the situation. Noah followed protocol of getting an asbestos test first. Luckily, it was negative. Then Spencer, their Mitigation Specialist? built a special containment room, inside the guest bedroom that sealed off the contaminated area. Heavy duty fans stayed on for about 72 hours? so the area could be thoroughly dried after being treated w/ some kind of mold treatment. Noah was available via text when I had questions - that was surprising & super helpful! Once Mitigation was completed, Noah connected me w/ Jacob at their Restoration Department. He sent over a stellar crew led by David & they proceeded to rebuild about a quarter of the bedroom - meant to mention that they had to rip out dry wall, scaffolding, etc. This crew rebuilt and then refinished the area, including re-installing wainscotting and painting the ceiling + walls. The results? This bedroom looks gorgeous! We were thrilled with how thorough/smooth ATH was w/ this process & how the renovation turned out. Highly recommend this company for their professionalism, flexibility and high standards. Thanks to the ATH Team!

As people who have never gone through the insurance process or done any work to our house, we had no idea what to expect. Our initial plumber helped us through the beginning stages, and then we got to the part where we needed to rebuild our home. I turned to Yelp and saw the amazing photos and reviews of Gurr Brothers and decided to go with them after checking that they were approved by our insurance. That's when we got connected with Taylor and his team! Everyone we worked with at Gurr Brothers was kind, thoughtful, and respectful when entering our home. They also do some pretty great work. We had our kitchen and bathroom rebuilt by them. Alex did the tile in our home and went above and beyond trying to help us find more of a tile after we ran out and discovered the tile had since been discontinued after we had purchased it. We also got some new wiring done by their in house electrician and they did an amazing job. If you've never gone through a home reno project I do have a few tips: Remember to make time to be there for the contractor if you have a specific vision in mind. Keep in mind things will take more time then you think -- especially with COVID! It will be stressful regardless but the finished product is worth it! Taylor was always there to help ease our stresses -- we'd give him a ring often during the process. He was a great go to and just an overall great person. Thank you Gurr Brothers and Team!

I live in Kennedale, Texas, and I genuinely wish I could give this company NEGATIVE 10 stars…read more Hiring this company after our home flooded in August 2025 was one of the worst experiences my family has ever gone through. We were originally told the repairs would take approximately 8 weeks. It ended up taking OVER 8 MONTHS. Throughout the process, we dealt with constant lies, excuses, gaslighting, and complete unprofessionalism from management -- specifically Sam and later Cory. Both repeatedly gave us false timelines, misleading information, and empty promises. Not only was communication terrible, but the quality of work was absolutely unacceptable. The contractors this company hired were careless and unprofessional. They left our front door wide open overnight on one occasion and repeatedly left our garage open while leaving the property unattended to run errands. At one point, one of the contractors even brought his entire family into our home while working -- something we witnessed on our security cameras. Children were running around inside our house during an active restoration project. Completely unacceptable. The workmanship itself was a disaster. The flooring they installed began buckling shortly after completion, requiring them to come back out and repair it. Now the flooring is buckling AGAIN in multiple areas of the home. When I contacted Cory about fixing the issue and asked about a warranty, I was told they "do not provide warranties" and that too much time had passed -- even though the problems are clearly the result of poor installation and substandard contractors. To make matters worse, because Cory continued giving us inaccurate completion dates, we were forced to move back into an unfinished home after our rental extension could no longer be extended. For FOUR WEEKS, my family lived upstairs in our media room without a functioning kitchen, countertops, stove, or basic living necessities. This company caused my family unnecessary stress, financial hardship, and emotional exhaustion during an already difficult time. Their lack of accountability, poor workmanship, dishonest communication, and complete disregard for customers is beyond unacceptable. At this point, I truly question how this company continues operating. Based on our experience, I would NEVER recommend them to anyone -- not even my worst enemy. If anyone has information about filing a lawsuit or taking legal action against this company, please feel free to respond.

A friend recommended Voda Cleaning & Restoration, so I decided to give them a call--and I am so glad I did! The first thing they checked was my air filter. It was dirty, but honestly, not too bad. However, when they inspected my air ducts, we discovered that they were in really bad shape and badly needed to be cleaned. I scheduled Voda Cleaning & Restoration to come out, and I was extremely impressed with how careful they were. They took great care to make sure they didn't bring dust or debris into my home while doing the work. Once they finished cleaning the air ducts, the difference was **amazing**. It was like a miracle--I could breathe much easier, and my eyes weren't watering anymore! I honestly wish I had known about Voda Cleaning & Restoration a long time ago. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs their air ducts cleaned. I haven't personally used them for water damage restoration, but if I ever have water damage, **Voda will be the only company I call.** Thank you, Voda Cleaning & Restoration, for making such a noticeable difference in my home!

Such a…read morebummer to have discovered mold behind two shower enclosures while we were remodeling, but Voda came in and saved the day so we didn't fall too far behind schedule with the remainder of trades needed to finish remodeling! (And, thankfully for us, the mold was caused by tile not being sealed in the shower niche where shampoo/bottles/soaps are placed - the mold wasn't from a plumbing issue.) One thing we found out while searching for a mold remediation company is that pricing is all over the place here in the East Valley. And after speaking with a few realtors, it became clear that not everyone can be trusted to do the work well. For our specific situation, we weren't sure if the mold had spread under the concrete floor of the showers. Two other companies said there was no need to remove the concrete flooring; however, Voda's estimator video conferenced with his remediation crew during the free-estimate-walkthrough and they were certain it needed to be removed in both showers. Voda was right - the concrete shower floors needed to be removed so the subfloor could also be treated. Voda was not the least expensive, but they were the most thorough and inclusive of all work needed to be done -- and when dealing with mold removal/remediation, as a homeowner, you want to know it's gone. Voda's workers are certified and they treat your home as if it was their own (possibly even better because it was incredibly clean when they left!). Also, an unrelated, third party environmental company tested the two shower areas after Voda was finished -- and our shower areas passed the tests! Voda works with insurance companies to help you if you have a claim, and they also work directly with homeowners (like us) when it's not covered by insurance. Given Voda's other excellent reviews online, we can agree with all the other 5-star reviews. We highly recommended Voda's professional services!
