Breakfast here even as a take out is fantastic! I can't wait to be able to sit in. The ingredients are fresh... great combinations of flavors. read more

This place was not good when i ordered from uber eats. I ordered breakfast from here and the hash browns were overdone or old. The eggs were suppose to be poached but cooked all the way through and hard. Not worth the money at all. Sorry no pics, i threw it away. read more

I have been to the turning point restaurants in NJ and love them. They have a solid menu and execute very well. This morning I went to the Turning Point in Delaware expecting the same level of experience. They put us in the back room that was 80+ degrees and sat us at a booth up against the windows. The shades were up and it was upwards of 90 degrees with the sun beaming everyone in the face. When I asked that they bring the shade down they told me that that's all the shade goes down which is clearly BS as there is plenty of slack. We tried to tough it out but was unbearable for my pregnant wife. When I told the waitress that it was too hot and that we would like to cancel the order and leave, without a care or possibly even to move us to a different table she said ok and that was it. I'm willing to give them another shot when I visit the NJ but I will not be visiting the Delaware restaurant again. If I could give a zero, I would. read more

Went here for my bfs birthday back in November. Staff was so friendly and our meals were excellent. I am vegan and find their vegan pancakes to be fluffy and delicious. We will definitely be returning customers! read more

One of the best brunches I've been to. Good food. Good service and the manager was very courteous.

I order the OMG and Grand French toast with iced coffee and tropical bliss smoothie. Why are offering 20% right now. Friendly stuff working there with high efficiency. Short time in the waiting lists. Convenient location, just close to the Honeygrow. Grand opening, worth it to try read more

I've been to another Turning Point in another state several times but stopped going because the service began to suffer majorly(even after we were given a free meal to come back we refused to because it had trended so poorly), so when I saw this location open recently a little closer to home we were hesitant but decided to give it a shot for my wife's birthday breakfast. I was glad we did. The location is in what seems like a new(er) shopping center in Christians and is a much bigger and airier location than the previous location I went to. We were immediately greeted and sat with our order being taken within a few minutes. My son ordered one of the new fruit and vegetable juices and the server gave him other options because she had a feeling he wouldn't like beet juice (thank you!). I ordered their southern chicken and waffles with lightly crisped and spicy boneless fried chicken breast topped with Craisins, walnuts and their awesome gravy. Topped with warmed maple syrup it was absolutely amazing. As an appetizer we had their bacon lollipops which are thick cut pieces of cooked bacon wrapped around a soft warm apple slice topped with caramel and brown sugar...drool. Wife has a Benedict which were good as well. I considered the French press coffee but opted for their regular iced coffee and it was great. The service was fantastic, clean, bright and airy atmosphere and good quick food, can't ask for more Can't wait to come back, but will definitely not return to one of their NJ locations read more

Food was very Tasty, The apple bacon bites was good and so was the service. Lots of parking and good shopping in the area. BlueMountain coffee was the same as the coffee in Jamaica, Made the same way. read more

I can't believe i'm the first to review but i'm happy I am! My husband and I have been waiting for this to open. Driving by at least once a week until we finally saw the we're open sign! Beautiful atmosphere and such a comfortable home feeling. Walking in we were greeted at the door as if we were walking into our friends home. The blonde manager Karen was very attentive and you can tell she loves what she does. She took time to talk to us and welcome us to the family as she said. Many more trips to come! Definitely try the bacon lollipops and their mexican egg dish they were amazing! We'll be coming back next week read more

Atmosphere and decor was adorable. Southern charm. The staff needs some work. We waited about 10 mins for someone to clean off a table so we could be seated. Our server seemed inexperienced. The food was very good, however, a little overpriced and portions were small. read more

I just had the absolute worst experience at the Christiana restaurant on July 18th and I didn't even get food. I called ahead for a table of 4, which had a 45-60 min wait. We showed up with 20-30 minutes left to wait. I checked in at front and was told there was 3 ppl ahead of us. After 15-20 minutes went by, I went up to front again and sure enough my reservation in line was deleted even though we were sitting inside right near counter. They did apologize and told me it would be another 10-15 minutes and then proceeded to continue sitting other people. I just want to note that me, my husband, my 4 year old daughter, and my infant son sat there for another 15 minutes without being seated and just now left. No food, terrible service, and so disappointed, because we know the food here is delicious. Some better management is needed ASAP. read more

Popular brunch sport so a reservation is suggested. I didn't have one and we waited over a hour for a table in a Sunday. However the food and coffee and non coffee drinks are plentiful! 10/10! read more

Came into this new establishment with 8 other people (9 total) and had an unusual wait time. Unusual in the fact that the staff did not know how long it would take to sit us. While waiting 45 minutes and watching all other parties get seated we asked again and got the same clueless answer. A lot of attitude from the hostess came along with the experience as well. Really unprofessional. Ultimately my party had to turn back from turning point, hungry and angry, or hangry as the establishment would like to put it as; something that the establishment claims to cure. So much for that. read more

Arrived with a party of 9 around 11:45am on a Monday. Left at 12:30 without being seated. The bar was completely empty and we werent offered to sit at the bar. As other patrons arrived, they were advised of the wait time and were offered to sit at the bar. When i asked our estimated wait time, we were not given a time. It really felt like they werent trying to seat us. Whether intentional or not, the hostess needs to be aware. She let a party of 9 walk out the door. read more

Our server was FANTASTIC! They also have gluten free bread for French toast, which is what I ordered! I decided to add a side of eggs and they were very quick to get them out to me. 10/10 service and food! Will definitely return & recommend! read more

Well what can I say about this establishment ...Not a bad experience just not a good enough one to brag on.I traveled to this location from Maryland to get a newer experience under my belt and the one word that pops in my head about this place is "Disappointed"..The food was definitely nothing to write about and the service....let's just say I won't be returning ,Enjoy...P.S ,My wife had the Key West Shrimp Omelette and she said it was good so we'll give this experience another star for that. read more

Been here a total of 3 times. First time was alright so we decided to come back more. Second time we waited longer than the wait time given by a good amount and then were charged for the wrong bill in the end. And I had to call back to get it all situated for us getting the wrong bill. Then the third time I Was told there would be a 30 minute wait, ended up sitting in my car for 80 minutes total. We were 3rd in line according to the wait and watched as more than 3 tables worth got sat before us. Need to figure out how to tell people a decent wait time and management of the restaurant. Something is not there, food is great horrible at everything else read more

Super greasy and unimpressive. The price was reasonable enough but service was slow, the place had a cheap sense of decor, and the food was pretty unappealing to look at or eat. (Hence the reason why I didn't even bother to photograph it.) Probably won't be returning. read more

Was excited to eat breakfast here, the server was helpful and the drink I ordered which I can't remember the name of was delicious however the avocado toast I ordered was not the best. The toast was over cooked and some of Guacamole was hard as if it had been defrosted. read more

I'll give it two stars because the food when finally served was actually good. Almost an hour to be seated was fine, however once seated we were met with one disappointment after another. We had a large party so we were seated in the back. Another large party was seated next to us and we were so close we should've just been seated altogether! Almost 20 minutes before our server introduced herself. When she did, she proceeded to tell us most if not all of the popular menu items weren't available because they sold out the day before. 40-60 minutes for food to be served, and half the order had been forgotten. Food was good however I'd lost my appetite for the experience by this time. Waitress didn't check in once after the forgotten items were dropped off and we waited nearly 30 minutes after we were done for a bill. Just don't think I could do it again. read more

The food was great! Would definitely recommend the lemon blueberry pancakes, french toast, s'mores hot chocolate and key west shrimp omelette. Great for smaller parties. Parties of 7+ may have a wait longer than you'd like but call ahead if you can. read more

Overall, our lunch was good. Two of us ordered salads. Both were fresh. The third order was to be a Wilbur Skillet. My friend questioned why there wasn't avacado and the waitress kindly brought some to our table. When we received the bill, it turns out it was the western omelette she received. That answered why it didn't come in a skillet and why there were onions and red pepper in it. I would have thought the waitress would have picked up on that, but evidently she had no idea. Also, I have never returned a dirty fork and had it returned with a cup of hot water in case I need to clean more utensils. For that, I won't bother returning. read more

Okay let me start I'm writing this at 6:21PM so the temperature is lower now than it was at 12:30 when i went today ... let's start , so i called them and asked if we needed to make a reservation to be seated they said no. Me and my wife go there and ask for a seat then they tell us we should have called to make a reservation for a seat , the Host said wait out side we will have you seated in about 10-15 minutes. Okay no problem we wait outside next thing you know we have been sitting there in the blistering heat for about 35 minutes dying of dehydration and getting sunburnt so I'm about to go full blown Karen and have a shit show in this bitch , i walk in and ask for our seats she says 5 more minutes so we stand there and just as we are about to walk out they call us to sit. At this point I'm so tired and thirsty , exhausted from dehydration along with my pregnant wife all i could think of was a ice cold glass of sweet tea , guess what they don't have ? Fucking sweet tea , it's hotter then the devils asshole out and you don't have any sweet tea to quench my thirst absolutely racist if you ask me. As we order our me the food came out fast and it was pretty good. They have dog shit smoothies tho don't get the fucking smoothie for god sake and all of humanity sake don't get the fucking smoothie. Food was a solid 7/10 not worth fighting in the gooch of satan for 35 minutes tho. P.s it smells like fart in that bitch idk if it was the eggs or not. Thanks for listening. read more

Turning Point - Vegan pancakes, potatoes and an orange drink with ginger (I forget what it's called) - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Newark, Delaware

this place routinely crushes it. the managers are 'in it' with the team, and it shows. i worked in restaurants for a long time and i can tell this place is a well oiled machine. ESPECIALLY during a pandemic, they don't take shit from customers with unrealistic expectations, and the managers politely redirect people to wait outside to protect everyone. i love the menu revamps, especially the vegan options. the food is always great, and my experience has never been less than stellar. one of my absolute favorite restaurants in the area. do yourself a favor and join the waitlist on yelp on weekends before you head out, otherwise you're looking at an hour wait, at least, and there's a reason for it. read more

Very OK breakfast joint. Our waitress was nice but failed to pay attention to small details. Told her I wanted fried eggs and they came out scrambled, my boyfriends eggs were supposed to be over easy and they came out fried hard (which was very apparent even without cutting into the egg). The espresso drinks are very sugary, probably going to get the French press if we return. Got the country shrimp skillet, the shrimp was very low quality, wasn't properly cleaned and WAY over cooked. Neither of us liked it, but we got it so we didn't waste it. Avocado toast was good and the cinnamon roll pancake was okay. Over all an ok experience. Unsure if I'll return. read more

I LOVE this place!! The decor is beautiful and the food was amazing. We went for breakfast and got avocado toast and a shrimp omelet. The two of us split the avocado toast and it was so filling that I only was able to finish half my omelet. Everything was delicious. I can't say enough good things. Service was awesome!! I will be back soon!! read more

I've been waiting to visit Turning Point for a while and it was overall a great experience. The restaurant is beautiful and makes you feel like you are at home! The only concern during my visit was that it took over 5 minutes for someone to greet us at the front to get seated. Also, it took 15-20 minutes for our avacado toast appetizer to come out. The food though was 10/10! I ordered the Bourbon Walnut Banana Cakes and they melted in my mouth! Their coffee is also amazing! The menu is a bit pricy but defiantly worth it! read more

Good service but the food was mediocre. I got a Tuscany omelet and it was pretty dry and not great flavor. Also the potatoes weren't very good, didn't taste great and just weren't very fresh. read more

I would give it 0 stars if that was an option. Stopped in for breakfast and we each had an omelet. I ordered bacon on the side and my husband ordered sausage. We had 2 small ice teas- no offer for refills and with tip the bill was $41+. I was served 3 cold petrified pieces of bacon; my husband got 2 sausages. He said they were much better than the bacon. The cost for both of those meats was almost $9.00. The potatoes were cold, highly seasoned so much so the salt made them inedible. English muffins were not toasted and had to ask for butter and jelly. For this much money it should have been hot, well prepared and appropriate amount of food. We don't mind paying for a good meal. This meal was not good! It was awful. I spoke with the manager and he said he would tell the cook. This was an inadequate response. We used to go to this franchise in NJ and it was always above average. This place in Christiana is dismal. Don't waste your money. read more

Best place ever ,the staff is soo friendly and always recieve you with a smile and that's a plus ,the food is delicious or like my husband would say banging ,theres soo many things in the menu ,the avocado toast ,bacon lollipops are to dye for the Wilbur skillet and the Huevos rancheros are our favorites ,we love everything about this place sometimes it gets to crowdy but it's worth the wait read more

The food was delicious, although it would be nice if there were truly breakfast entree without having to purchase meat, etc separately. My server was not very attentive.
