Had the rosemary salt bagel with scallion, dill, and lemon cream cheese. And another with everything and roasted veggie cream cheese. Bagels were chewy and soft inside and the cream cheese options were delicious. Nothing like this in Northern Colorado and it's a long way to get here. It's a small shop with a few places to sit. Service was friendly.

I ordered the Britney: smoked salmon, onion, cucumber, and lemon scallion dill cream cheese on a rosemary salt bagel. The second I opened the wrapper I was hit with the smell of fresh rosemary, which immediately sold me. Flavor-wise, this sandwich was lovely. The smoked salmon tasted fresh and paired perfectly with the lemon scallion dill cream cheese. The cucumbers added the right amount of freshness and crunch, and the bagel itself had beautiful flavor. My only issue was the texture of the bagel. It was very hard, and toasting it unfortunately made it even tougher. Every bite turned into a bit of a balancing act because the sandwich kept falling apart. Still, the flavors were strong enough to make up for it. Overall, I really enjoyed it and I'm excited to go back again. Definitely won't wait years next time. 7.9/10

Two of us ordered a different pasta dish and they were great. One of us ordered a sandwich and it was phenomenal. Excellent cannoli and espresso. And the fourth person in our party had a huge bowl of delicious ham and bean soup made in-house. We all had excellent espresso and superb cannoli. I have to mention the beautiful decor, which is very Italian islands. The place is a real treasure. Friendly staff, too. Dalfonso's is at 162 Allen Street in Buffalo, N. Y.

From 2020 on we used to get food, snacks, beer and other stuff here very regularly...like three times a day sometimes. We got dinner from here at least three times a week and we loved it. At some point a new owner took over and a lot things went downhill. We eventually had to stop going there all together because of all the mistakes and lack of accountability. We recently tried them again and was happy with the food. Well, that was short lived. The last three times we've placed an order online it hasn't even been started by the time they said it would be ready and we have to wait. In addition to that, it has been totally wrong with missing items each time. It happened again this morning, our order was missing two orders of hash browns. I called the listed number in an attempt to get a refund (because this is the third time and it's adding up) and it's off the hook, busy signal. This isn't new. The kitchen literally takes the phone receiver off the cradle so that they won't receive phone orders. My husband has witnessed it in person. Apparently they don't want to cook. Since the renovation the phone is digital, but they still turn it off. This has been happening since the new owner took over and he won't do anything about it. This is strange to me. Doesn't he want business? Anyways, sorry for the long review. We can't get food here anymore (again) because times are rough (again again) and I'm not going to buy from a shop that won't refund for wrongly prepared or even completely missing items. Bye Elmwood Market (AGAIN, out of chances)!

Little did I know I'd be coming into my favorite type of literally "everything"! Eclectic and vintage decor with absolutely perfect use of vintage and antique kitchen and table ware. A very interesting and fun repurposing of an old building/house. Very friendly, patient and helpful employees (apologies to the very kind woman at the counter, because when I'm excited I tend to chatter a lot). The baked goods were delicious, the whole grain toast was hearty and so full of flavor. The croissant was large, flaky and buttery. My husband's apple cake was moist and the frosting was perfect. I really enjoyed the coffee and since they don't grind the beans for you, I bought the bag of their signature blend then stopped at Walmart for a coffee bean grinder. I love savory for breakfast so I had 2 soft boiled eggs, ham, gruyere cheese, whole grain toast and pesto. When my plate came I was very pleased to see the vintage items used and some repurposed very cleverly. If the decor isn't your "thing"...make a visit for their food and coffee.

Bagel breakfast sandwich also disappointing. Only the sesame seeds seems to been able to cling onto my everything bagel (very scan onion/poppy/garlic) on the sandwich. The eggs were bland and were extremely lightly scrambled... like why do that, just fry them and poke the top and make a fried egg sandwich OR flip your wrist 20 more times to make a more proper scramble. At least they didn't overload it with bacon (sarcasm), the bacon was also rather mundane. They do have some intriguing vegan options and a good menu. Also a bit on the pricey side, 950 for a bagel bacon/egg/cheese. If I lived right near by, I would probably pony up here often as the inside has comfy seating, good wifi. But it closes at 2pm.... so not sure if I will ever be back.

I could have eaten three. Or five. Or eight. Sadly, I am doughy and round (just like a bagel) so I only ate one. But it was so so so good. There was a crisp to the exterior, but the interior had a tender and chewy texture. It was literally the perfect bagel. Every other bagel I've ever eaten pales in comparison to this one. I don't know if I'll ever be able to eat a supermarket bagel again. So Public Espresso has ruined me for all other bagels, but maybe that's a good thing considering my doughy, round body...
