The wings themselves were pretty good, I would give them a 4 star. They are sweet and spicy, close enough to a normal wing that it hits the spot, but different enough to be a change of pace. Some of the people voted this as their favorite, but it's not an top 3 wing for me. So why the 3 star review? This was our worst service of the day. The women behind the bar had a terrible attitude. Right out of the bat I gave her a $20 for the wings and said keep the change(about a $10 tip) because of the size of our group and that we would also tip on drinks. Her response was "fine". She got everyone their drinks and then sat in the corner seemingly bothered or inconvenienced. She really killed the vibe for the group. I have been before and service was better with other bartenders, but this is the 2nd or 3rd time I have received similar service from this bartender in particular.

By the time she came back we were ready to order. We asked for the kids finger meal, Well our waitress Maggie clearly knew what it's like to dine with kids, our little helpers food came first and in record time. Super crispy chicken and fries which were reviewed as "super awesome ". I got a cup of French onion soup, it had a good layer of cheese and was full of onions, even on a 80 degree day that soup satisfied. The misses got the chicken bacon ranch pizza, which came out with a seriously generous covering of chicken and bacon and a nice perfectly cooked cheese/dough. Fantastic flavor and very well made. The garlic parm wings were great, came out extra crispy and saucy....this was definitely a house made sauce, it was well made and worthy of a French fry sopping. I was pleasantly surprised they were also quite meaty. I'm also a bleu cheese fan, theirs was chunky and had a familiar tang to it. I'm a huge fan of great service and good food. Lock 34 delivered on both. Even though it's out of the way of our normal area we eagerly are looking forward to a return visit.

Find some amazing non-traditional/house wings and try them out so we could figure out some of the bests of Lockport. The Ski Lodge Ski style wings were one of our choices. The wings were cooked great, nice and crispy. The sauce itself was good, but left a little something to be desired. From what I understand you can double dip wings(mix sauces) and I think they could be stellar if they were mixed with something else. Outside of the wings, I have been here for food a number of other times. I have to say, this is a place that surprises me often with their menu selection and how good the food is. I will be back and would suggest a stop if you haven't been before.
