Wow! My bad for putting this place off the radar for so long. It has been at least 10+ years since I stepped foot here and just yesterday I went to the HP location and fell in love so I ventured to the Roseville location today. Roseville is extremely well organized, large, and carries a wide variety of furniture. The parking can be tricky as this location is connected to other neighboring stores but you will find one even if you have to circle a few times. The value can be hit or miss but many of the items I bought have been fairly priced. While I haven't brought any consignment items in to sell, I may consider it in the future as a new hobby. The service was very kind and helpful. Overall, if you are seeking any type of clothing just know you can easily find something as everything is color coded. Enjoy!! read more

This is a great place to shop at, but not necessarily to consign. I've been shopping here for years and they have a great selection and some very good quality of well-known brands (Talbots, Lands End, Eddie Bauer, AnnTaylor/Loft, etc.). However, there are some items mixed in that I have no idea how they make it through the selection process (bleach stains, tears, worn out, etc). I recommend looking closely at every clothing piece before purchasing. Pricing is all over the place, it's mostly good, but sometimes it doesn't make sense to pay $20 for a pre-owned cardigan (even if it is nice-looking). However, there's enough deals to keep me coming back. I haven't had problems with service. My rule is to be kind and they'll generally be kind back, and they haven't been unkind (just the general attitude that comes with having to deal with working retail). As for consignment, I've consigned there a few times, and have been surprised how some of my items aren't selected, especially considering how I've found worse items being sold. I guess it's all about stock from reading other reviews? Still, a bit disappointing. I'd give my consignment experience 3 stars. NO public bathrooms. But there are a lot of neighboring businesses that have bathrooms for you to use if needed (like a Starbucks about a block away) Parking: free parking lot. read more

I recently purchased two chairs from the Roseville Turnstyle Store. At the time of purchase I asked how many days do I have if I want to return the chairs. I was told 6 days. Two days later I bring in my receipt and say that I've changed my mind. The young woman at the cash register put the money back on my debit card. Equaling $690.00. I went back to return the $5 coupon purchase items purchase cards from making that purchase. Another woman was there talking to the woman that checked me out. She said you were supposed to give her only store credit. I said. Oh my gosh. Then another young woman says rudely "It says so on the receipt". After experiencing this, I'm not sure if I'll ever purchase anything from there again. And when you're purchasing over $100 worth of items, you should be told by the person checking you out, that you can return items for up to 6 days and you will be given STORE CREDIT ONLY. This policy needs to be revised. It is very unfair, unprofessional, and dishonest to the customers. Thank you for this opportunity. Peace read more

While I love the clothes selection the service is terrible. Staff-they are not friendly, they do not interact, they leave you standing at front desk, more interested in wrapping up for the night. The people that work the consignment drop off are rude and condescending. The experience tells me they don't need to keep my patronage. read more

They do a great job consigning my items and they have a great selections of items. The store is very clean and well organized. One thing that would make for a more convenient transaction after my items have sold, would be to have automatic deposit into my bank account.? read more

Policies for this store need updating. We consigned two cashmere coats and went to pick up a $33 dollar check for the 1st coat and the ticket that they originally gave us was not sufficient. They wanted us to present a photo id. My wife had her ID and we had an insurance cards with our names on it, but it was still not enough. The 2nd coat was no wear to be found. So, the staff blamed it on theft. I do not recommend this location...BAD EXPERIENCE. I will not shop or consign there again. read more

So over this place-- too much trouble than it's worth in terms of co-signing. Brought stuff in today after I called them and listened to their prompts and information stating clearly that co-sign hours are open until 7pm MON-Fri-- via walk-ins only. I lugged a ton of stuff to my car. Drove up to the store at 4:30 and saw the neon sign that literally said CONSIGNMENT OPEN (see pic). I unloaded my car and brought my items in and I was told by the crew of 10+ workers that they couldn't see me. Everyone seemed annoyed and over-worked. But they always seem like that anyway. When I shared how their comms online and their sign were misleading I was immediately shut down from speaking and told I should've read the smaller papered sign taped on the front door, and that I also should've requested to speak to a live person on the phone instead of trusting their phone system. Lol I cashed out my past earnings and won't ever be back. Just rude service & they obviously aren't interested in my business. Poshmark, ThredUp and Depop sounds like SUPER easy and sweet alternatives and I can make more $$$. Not to mention much safer because of COVID. After this experience today, happy to take my business elsewhere. read more

Turn Style Consignment - Used, Vintage & Consignment Near Me - Roseville, Minnesota

My immigrant mother with a difficult name went to this location to sell a few a pieces of her designer clothing. She gave her i.d. to young lady and was told she would be called up. While my mother was waiting to be called up the girl was walking around the store and showing my mother i.d. to her colleagues and laughing at her name. Then when she did call my mother up to the desk, she said " I can't take these back , because they smell" . Not only is this down right racist but actually disgusting customer service. DO not support this establishment. Shame on you! read more

This is my favorite Turn Style location. It's always clean and well organized. I think the prices are fair for the quality pieces I've found. Great variety of sizes and styles. I have been coming here for years and I don't think I've ever left empty handed! I would say it's definitely worth a visit. read more

I like Turnstyle and would have given another star except for the one thing that really twerks me off when I shop here: You have a cup of coffee at nearby Caribou then spend an hour shopping the goods and picking out some clothes to try on and then they WON'T LET YOU USE THE BATHROOM!!! (You know they've got one because where else do the employees pee)? I don't know about you but it's hard for me to try clothes on and off and focus on if I like them when I'm afraid I might pee my pants. So then I have to leave the store when I wasn't done shopping. I always find it mystifying when establishments think it is not a human need and right to a bathroom when you have the need. read more

I have co-signed here for years. Love that Carrie calls me by name and she's always friendly! The items are moved pretty quickly which is good for co-signers. read more

I have stopped in here a few times last few months and was very impressed by the changes they seemed to have made at this store. First of all, it's very organized and the people on the floor in the houseware area were super friendly and helpful. They carry a lot of stock, and nice furniture and you can spend a long time here searching for the perfect treasure. I genuinely enjoy shopping here now and appreciate the good customer service compared to a few years ago. read more

I have been consigning here for years. I would have to say their customer service has gone way down hill in recent years. They don't make it very easy to shop or consign with them anymore. Ever since COVID they no longer offer a restroom for customers- which is just crazy. Secondly, you cannot just show up during "consignment hours"- to drop off your items, you have to first go into the store to see if they "have time" - which is very inconvenient, especially if you live as far away as I do;( Thirdly, being open until only 7pm makes it difficult to shop after work. Lastly- their furniture has taken over their store. It makes it very hard to shop. read more

I like this location a lot. Decent selection of both clothing and furniture, large parking lot, and they have fair pricing for consigning. Everything is sorted by type, color, size etc. and I've found they have a good selection of most clothing items and sizes. I've found great deals on high end brands like Burberry and Kate Spade. Last year I got a Burberry dress for $20. Just watch out for sales and you can get a pretty good deal. I think the furniture selection is also really good and I've bought a few pieces myself. I've also sold quite a few things and I've always gotten a good deal. The only downside to this location is that I feel like whenever I go there is always a long wait to checkout because nobody is around. Otherwise it's one of my go-to places for consigning and shopping for my favorite brands. read more

Rude staff and I could not get the clothes back after their review. This is the third time trying to bring clothing and I will not visit this store or recommend it to anyone. Dropped off clothes for them to do their review of the items... they took 12 items (all high end designer clothing) and gave me $10. I stated this is not enough and asked for the clothes back. They stated they already put them in the back and could not get them for me. Unfortunately, you are better off at a garage sale or donating than at this store. What I cant understand is the staff and there lack of customer service. Btw - I usually do not write reviews and all I can say is wow....just don't bother...three time and your out.... read more

I used to have a love-hate relationship with this store but since I've grown as an adult and leveled-up from Plato's Closet I simply adore Turn Style. I always know that I can find what I'm looking for here. They have such a great variety and the sheer amount of what they have is enough to spend a good few hours. This location also has households attached and they often have a great amount of decent furniture at great prices. Bonus! I recently found a Groupon for them though I have yet to use it. I also haven't used their consignment to sell anything so I have no input on how that is. I just love to shop with them and see what I can find. read more

I have been a frequent visitor to this location for YEARS. I have spent thousands across all these locations. Roseville has turned me off today. Over the last year the quality of stuff has declined. You no longer find any real decent jewelry and if they get anything of quality they have it appraised and tend to price it for more than it's worth. Today I find one little Silpada bracelet that really wasn't worth all that much as it consisted of glass. When the staff noticed it, they didn't honor the sale, stating they couldn't sell the item...and with that I am done. You'll find me less likely to be at this location until some things change. read more

Awful experience. They're very over priced. $29.00 for a used rain coat. $48.00 for a pair of used, short faux leather boots. But my largest complaint, they would not allow me access to the restroom. I explained it was an emergency. They refused. An older woman with grey hair even sarcastically commented to me, "Why did I even come in there if I was so close." I couldn't believe the rudeness of the employees who said they were both managers. According to MN statues 325.60 Restroom access, subd. 3 Retail establishment; customer access to restroom facilities: A retail establishment that has a restroom facility for its employees shall allow a customer to use that facility during normal business hours if the restroom facility is reasonable safe and all of the conditions are met: All the conditions were met. I explained to them it was an emergency. I was going to pee my pants and I had a condition. Nope. No empathy or kindness. They asked me why I was standing there. I explained I couldn't move and pleaded with them. Nope. they were hostile and steadfast. I peed my pants and left the store. NEVER EVER GO THERE! read more

I was planning to consign some items. I went to the Turnstyle website to find out the process. The website stated that consignment hours go until 90 minutes prior to closing, so I made sure to show up within that timeframe. I am disabled, so getting things together and bringing them into the store is a major undertaking. When I arrived, I saw a sign on the Dorr stating that consignment was closed for the day. I spoke to an employee in the consignment area, and she was very rude. She stated that she "did not write website" and it was not her job to follow it. Hmmm, then whose job is it? It was so frustrating and shows a lack of concern for the people with whom they do business. read more

They have nice items but if you plan to sell, I'm not sure it's worth it. I dropped off some things I should have kept and never received a dime. Better to give it to charity. read more

I have been consigning here for years! Knowledgeable and efficient way to consign. They often ask me what I want to put in my items. Love that. Sometimes it is up to them. Thank you for being here Turnstyle! read more

Absolutely infuriating. They say one thing on their phone and website and then when you go there completely change it. I went there lady told me to hang on my closing I spent a ton of time hanging the clothing on a hanger and then proceeds to tell me that oh we don't take that kind of clothing why don't you just notify me before I spend my time following your stupid rules. I tried to consign the same good that I bought from them and they have the nerve to tell me oh we don't take these type of household items I bought them from you. They are liars don't give them your business. The manager or supervisor has no manners. read more

How can you improve? Deal more honestly with your clients. I was very disappointed when I brought several bedspreads in today. I needed to go purchase a clear plastic bag for one of them and while I was gone, the staff had already closed out my account so they were not willing to take the one I had bought the bag for. No problem, it is a nice quilt that I know I can sell for twice what they would give me. The problem came when the manager came to "examine" the quilt and had another employee help her. They folded it up a couple of times and then "found" an ink spot on it (that I know was not there when I came in.) At one point the employee had her hand awkwardly tucked inside the fold and that is where the spot turned out to be. They made such a show of examining it that I asked why they were doing it that way. I was told that they always examine bedspreads that way. They always take everything out of the bag to look at it carefully. Later, I went to check the prices of the other things I had brought in. At least one set had clearly not been removed from the bag at all. It was marked as a queen set but had they opened it, they would have known it was two twin bedspreads. I can deal with having to get plastic bags. I can deal with only being able to bring one donation in per day. But lying to me regarding the reason for not taking my donation and damaging it to cover up that lie is not ok. Just really bad business practices. read more

First of all, it's nearly impossible to consign anything in under two hours. Making an appointment is a joke. Despite how long it takes to get someone to actually look at your items and then how long it takes them to decide what to take, they sell clothing with stains and holes. Not worth your time either for consigning it's buying. read more

Excellent spot to buy gently used clothing. But I sometimes wonder who is determining the value of the items. The clothing styles are primarily preppy and trendy. Personally, I would like to see them carry some more unique items. The brands I find the most of are: The Loft, Express, Gap, Ann Taylor, etc. They say most items are priced around 20% to 40% of original retail; however, I think it all depends on who is appraising clothing that day, and what they think of each brand name. For example, a pair of Gap jeans may be priced at $15, while a pair of Madewell jeans (original retail $130+) are marked at $13. How does that math work out? I guess this place is a gold mine if you know a thing or two about your brands! I'll keep shopping here. :) read more

Let me start by saying that I've shopped at and consigned every Turnstyle in the Twin Cities. Roseville and Edina (which went out of business) are the absolute worst in customer service. If you're a consigner, expect to drop off your stuff and come back 4 or more hours later. If you're a customer, they will treat you like you're a nuisance and not worthy of their time. Like they're doing you a favor.. I was in two days prior to their Memorial Day Sale where everything full price is 25% off. My total was $125. Had I waited two days, I would've saved $31.25. I came in the day the sale started and told them I still have the items in my car, they haven't even been taken out yet. May I return them and rebuy them? The young manager (blond hair in a bun working the consignment area) says "well, that wouldn't be fair to the consigner". I asked her what wasn't fair about it, I still want to buy the items. She proceeded to get short with me and downright rude. Telling me that if I want to return the stuff I can and get a store credit BUT I won't be able to buy them back because they'll be put away for future resale! As I was contemplating what I wanted to do I roamed the store looking at stuff, I overheard her telling the cashier at the front "I'm dead serious, if she returns that stuff you better not resell it to her!". Wow. I left the store without returning or buying anything. It will be a cold day in h*ll before I spend another penny at that store or consign another thing for them to make money off of! read more

I had seen these shops, but I am not a big consignment shopper so I had not been inside one. I recently wandered in one day after visiting Blick, and wow! They had all sorts of just...useless stuff, or... "home decor". It blows my mind how people here in MN buy so much, just...stuff. And the clothes! I was amazed as it looked like they would take anything. All sorts of cheap labels mixed in with a few decent ones. Keeping my new discovery of a place stuffed to the gills with peoples' used crap, I had a few bags of old clothing I was planning no taking to Goodwill, so I thought I would bring them here first. Some was vintage, but all of it was ok quality and hardly worn. The thing that cracks me up is they rejected everything (ok, I get the point of having things on hangers and not wrinkled), telling me that they don't accept things more than 3 years old, and no pleated pants (pleats are in all the fashion magazines ladies). But they did take one old, outdated item that they accepted, I'm sure, because of the popular but rarely consigned label -- and it was so old they clearly are not familiar with it. Confusing at best, but overly Minnesota snobby. As a shopper, too much to dig through, but I'm not a big shopper. read more

The lighting, layout, and fitting rooms are pretty terrible at this location. However, I walked out with some pretty fantastic brand name pieces - a sweater, heels, and black dress pants - making me a very happy shopper. DO NOT CONSIGN HERE! I took clothes purses and authentic Burberry snow boots here. I asked 3 times if I do not like the price can I come get the items. The person told me yes but we have 24 hours to price and you have to call. She said NOTHING about I would have to be at the store by 7pm or my items they chose not to consign are donated. I asked her 3 times!! They "donated" my authentic like new Kate spade bag and BURBERRY boots! They kept saying it was on the doc I signed but I asked the person. They Should have told me!!!!! I feel they basically stole these from me. Where is the receipt they donated them?! I've asked to speak to a manager by the end of the day. Will see if they make this right or not. Update: I received a call and they returned my Burberry boots and Kate spade purse along with my other items. I'm pleased I received my belongings back read more

I drop clothes off to consign, but always find at least one great purchase too. I always look at shoes, bags, and work pants.

Stopped to shop with friends and not a so great check out experience. Our friend checked out first. The cashier shoved her purchase into the smallest bag they had and then the credit card didn't take. Cashier said give me your card. Just plain rude. Next was my turn and the cashier says to me wow. I said she is a friend of ours and I shop here a lot. We won't be back. The cashier name was Susanna, kind of leaves a sour taste in m mouth. Poor customer service. read more

I always walk out of this place frustrated. I've sold clothes and home items here a number of times, but the service typically makes me want to never come back. You wander around the store while they look at your stuff, and they don't let you know when they are done. I always have to go ask, and usually get quite the attitude when I do. Which I don't understand. I always want to know why they don't accept something, but they don't volunteer that. Which usually makes for another uncomfortable interaction. I do go back here to sell on occasion because it's the only home consignment place I know, but boy I wish I didn't have to. read more

pretty decent store and what I love is that they have one whole side dedicated to home decor and I can always find something there. The clothing side is very nicely organized and you can save some dollar and make yourself holla if you do a little pickin'. They have a very large selection of shoes also. There have been times I have been in a clothing crunch and my wallet was slim this has always been one of the first places I will try to find something adequate. read more

Not open till 9 -- only 8, she said, for the last two years. Fix it? Such a pain in the ass.

I brought some clothes and shoes here to consign . The process was easy, they took everything I brought (limit is 50 items) except a pair of Toms wedges, they did have a small stain on the back. If you bring clothes, they must be on hangers. I didn't know that, so they made an exception for me. It took them about an hour to go through my things and make decisions. I shopped a little and then waited at Starbucks. I don't give 5 stars because I am not sure about the prices given to my items. I have no idea what to expect when they sell. I should have asked more questions, and they should have explained it better. I guess I will just be thankful for what I do get back. As for the shopping, I saw some nice things. There are a lot of housewares at this Roseville location. I am purging closets, so I wasn't in a shopping mode. I would come here if I needed something! read more

Don't expect to do anything in this store but waste your time. The staff was rude to me and cast off my clothes like I had brought in garbage. They wouldn't look twice at some expensive, never-worn, beautiful quality clothes (i.e Express dress pants) because they were six years old. But take a look through their store, and all you'll see is older, much more worn, off brand clothing past its prime. They're elitist and only accept high end brands on a whim or whatever they think is good enough. They treated me like I was stupid for even having them pick through my clothes which must've taken all of five minutes and yet I was told to "look around and come back in a half hour". Only to find out not one piece in five bags of clothing could be accepted. While looking around I noticed they had a Kate Spade purse on display at an outrageously high price ($78) compared to the other high end designer purses (like Coach, Calvin Klein, etc. for around $20-34) which made me sick to think this store would try to profit off of the tragic death of Kate Spade just weeks before. Needless to say, you're better off having a garage sale than trying to consign with TurnStyle. read more

DO NOT SELL HERE!! Okay place to buy you will get screwed over selling. If the items YOU brought in do not sell, they CHARGE YOU to pick them back up no matter what. & if you don't pick them up they donate them.
