Office staff need to work on their empathy. If you are going to Turlock Imaging as a patient, you are not having a good day. You have something broken or you are going in to have a scan to determine if you have cancer. The front office is just rude. If you call for an appointment they play games with your health. They refuse to look for doctor's orders, referrals, etc. I only got in because I insisted on talking to the office manager. I will say, she was helped. Now, four days later, no results sent to my doctor. I guess Turlock Imaging got their money and does not care if you hear the results Make the drive to Modesto or go to the place in the Tower. Avoid this place. I only went again because I forgot to tell my doctor and the referral went through. This is the worst place for health care! read more

My mother had a scheduled Saturday appointment for 12pm. We got there on time, was told there was going to be a 15-20 minute delay, which is understandable at times when things are out of your control. I asked front desk, if we had time to grab something to eat and she said something quick, maybe. With uncertainty in her look. I did not want my mom to get rescheduled so figured she would wait the 15-20 mins. I've been sitting outside waiting with my kids for over an hour. I go inside to check on my mom, only to be told she was put in the tube 5 mins before 1pm. Are you kidding me?! It is 1:27pm and we are still waiting. This is ridiculous! Who ever is running this place needs to be aware that Saturday scheduled appointments are scheduled for a reason and patients should not be waiting that long with a so called scheduled appointment! They sat on an order that was placed as a STAT (do quickly order) They had it for a whole week and didn't schedule the appointment with the patient and didn't get it preapproved with insurance after having it a whole week. The patient had to call them and ask why nothing had been done. First, Bertha, tried to say that they never received it. So, we asked for the manager named Rosa. Rosa took a very long time but then discovered that Turlock Imaging had had the order from the doctor for a whole week. Meanwhile the patient is in terrible pain waiting for an MRI appointment. I went in for my 20 week scan.. my ultrasound technicians were Alexis and Alyssa. They were both very welcoming and made me very comfortable. They dimmed the lights, had some light music playing in the background and we had some good conversations. They were able to get some good ultrasound images and they very accommodating because towards the end I started to get nauseous and they were able to help me through that and even offered me water to help. My daughter was seen today for a sonogram. The blond hair lady was very rude, and didn't even know how too do her job. I was in the room for over 50 minutes in the room for her to find the sex of the baby and the dumb blonde still could not tell me the sex. She was very rough on my stomach. It was fast for me, and all staff I interacted with were very nice.. I had the option to wait in my car, and didn't wait very long. I was called in 2 minutes before my scheduled time. So disappointed with this place. Went for an ultrasound and paid my co-pay at the time of service. I never rectangular bill and then a few Months later received a notice from a collection agency for the total unpaid balance. I called Turlock Imaging and they know absolutely nothing and don't do the billing there. I called the billing company 2 times and the people I spoke with were rude and no help at all. I made a third call the next day and spoke to a supervisor who told me it was a mistake made by the billing company and to disregard the letter. Went there a few days ago with my granddaughter for an x-ray and they wouldn't see her because I didn't have my 10 year old guardianship papers with me. The technicians are fabulous here, but the front end is horrible. First off, if you are going to Turlock Imaging, you are hurt or sick with an undiagnosed issue. Not everyone has been there so we do not all know the drill. When you sign in, the office immediately yells at you to sit down. Once seated they call you back to a second window around the corner. If you return to the front desk they yell at you go around the corner. This is done in front of a room of patients and it is very embarrassing. With an appointment, I still waited 40 minutes which is understandable. Once done, I asked for a CD and was told it would be 5-10 minutes. After waiting 15 minutes, I went up and told them I would have to come back because I had to get to work. The FRONT end lady replied, "if you cannot wait 2 minutes, then go." I had waited more than 2 minutes! Convenient to have this in town, but the front end is just so rude and generally unhelpful! read more

Don't come here!!!! I brought my mother in for and X-ray today. I had called a couple days before and confirmed no appointment could be made for X-rays as it was walk in only. I was worried as all the others reviews said they had to wait 2-3 hours to be seen. Well guess what we came in at 11:30am all for them to tell us that "one of the rooms was down" whatever that means ?? Said they were not taking appointments at this time and to come back at 2pm. I honestly think that they just said this because they hoped I would come back another day. After trying to kill come time in town (we come from Patterson area) we came back right around 2pm. Lady at the front desk was not pleasant. Literally starred us down and overall just looked miserable. Back office staff and techs who actually took images were the complete opposite. They were friendly and even comforted my mother who was in pain from her current medical condition. My husband was sent here to do an x-ray. When he came that day they told him it would be at least a three-hour wait. The girl my husband spoke to told him that people get here usually by 7 they let people in by 7:30 and they start doing x-rays at 8. So we decided to leave and come back Monday but I called to see if we could make an appointment. When we spoke to somebody on the phone they said do to Covid they were only doing walk ins and that you were not able to make an appointment. We live in Modesto so we had to wake up at 6 a.m. to get here by 7. My husband is waiting outside for at least 30 minutes there is no signs on the door or anything indicating where to line up or how any of this works. He starts to notice that people are walking through the other door. So he goes around and they have been taking people in on a list and said that they didn't see him waiting. Not only that apparently there's an option to wait in your car again no clear signage. When he gets up to reception they ask him if he has an appointment. My husband starts to notice that they're asking everybody whether or not they have an appointment he also starts to notice that they're taking in people who have come in after he came in. When he asks what's going on the girl at the front desk tells him people who have appointments go first. This place is so disorganized. There is no clear signage to let anybody know how anything works and you're told two different things about whether or not you can make an appointment. They shouldn't just assume that people know how this works especially if they've never been here before. So you end up completely wasting your time and end up having six or seven people ahead of you when you were first in line it's ridiculous Update: so I called to convey to them how frustrating the situation was. The first girl I talked to had a very "it is what it is" attitude I was told that I could talk to the office manager if I wanted to I said yes. When the office manager gets on the phone she keeps trying to cut me off. She tells me they do their best to communicate but can't accommodate everybody's needs and let everybody know every single little change. The appointment situation is not a little change, it is something that is vital to the operation of their facility. The other thing is it doesn't take a lot of effort to clearly communicate to people or put up a sign that says "line up here" or "line up at other door" If you've at least done that then any misunderstanding is on the person not reading the signs or not listening. Then you can say "We've done what we can" but simply not doing anything and blaming it on covid and "difficult times" is not acceptable, we have all had to adapt. Their refusal to do so is unacceptable. Their attitude is also unacceptable. I get that it's frustrating, I get the people are constantly complaining but you still shouldn't try to just cut people off. People are just as frustrated as you are. read more

s charged $20.00 by Turlock Imaging. Ihave not been there in over two years. The bill was for another person, not me. The charge hitmy bank when I was low on funds andthe bank charged mne $35.00 in addition for an over draw. I have written four letters to Turlock Imaging asking for payment of $55.00. I get the blown off every time. I have told my insurance company to and All Care to stop using Turlock Imaging. There are other places to go to. read more

This place is highly organized. You can just show up with a form from your doctor, sign in, & have a seat in a comfortable chair. In a few minutes, you will be called to a window for paper work. Soon after taking a seat, you are called back for an X-Ray by a professional person who does the job while treating you with courtesy & respect. read more

What a great experience! I am very fearful of doctors procedures, in general but this place put me at ease. The staff members were professional, friendly, kind and patient. I understand these times make wait times longer than normal and policies are different. Even in the midst of a pandemic, things were organized and clean. I felt very safe and taken care of. Came here on a holiday and thank goodness they were open. Not only do they open their doors 45 mins early but they are very attentive. They took our information quick and took my daughter's x-rays all of this within an hour. I expected to be there over an hour. The technician was nothing but sweet to my daughter, knowing she was scared she made her feel comfortable and safe. Definitely would recommend and would be back. read more

Wait time was very short and this was the most comfortable MRI I've ever had, thanks to the care and reassurances of the tech. I wish I could remember her name. I'm claustrophobic and hadn't taken anything in advance to calm me down. Plus this was with contrast, so I had an IV. But my tech's demeanor was so calm that I was fine, and the 25 minutes passed quickly. She even answered my dumb question about whether I could get stuck in the MRI if there was an earthquake or power outage. She acted like it was a perfectly reasonable thing to worry about, reassuring me that she'd be in the room with me within 5 seconds and could easily release me from the tube. I definitely recommend this facility and would use it again if needed. read more

Last week, I needed an MRI, and got there, only to be let down and disappointed that there was ONLY closed mri. Wasted my time and effort. I needed an X-ray and they don't make appointments. I went in about noon the first time and I was told it was a 2-3 hour wait. I asked when was a better time and I was told mornings and the techs were there about 7:30. I went last Friday at 7:20. There was only one lady at the desk and she was so busy doing Covid screening as people walked in, she didn't have time to start registering anyone. About 8:10 I was called back for registration as other workers came in. I then told them I had another appt at 8:30. She said to go and come back and she'd put my chart up. When I came back at 8:45 not much had changed. Someone else was at the counter complaining. I waited until 9:15, when a man there before me, asked how much longer. He was told there were 7 patients ahead of him. At that point, I went to the desk to inquire since I know they do different testing, and she told me that they were only using ONE room and they were doing a procedure. I then asked for my X-ray order to take elsewhere. They don't deserve my business or my money. No wonder why there weren't any comment cards left in their office. Took 6 weeks for an appointment for an MRI of my brain. My doctors office and myself were told multiple times "it is pending insurance authorization". When 5 weeks passed, I asked what the date was that it was sent to my insurance for authorization, to then be advised that it had not been sent to my insurance company at all. I was told that it would be sent off and to call the following week. When I called back 4 days later, still no one had sent it off. The person who I spoke to that day was actually honest and understanding of the huge delay. She sent it off immediately and called me back within 5 minutes with approval and scheduled me ASAP. The tech was extremely nice the day of my appointment. She advised that my MRI results would be ready that day and to call around lunch time to pick up that evening. When I called, the lady who I spoke to was extremely rude and told me they needed 24 hours for pick up. I told her exactly what the tech advised me of. She proceeded to ask me if I needed them for an appointment or for myself. She did not care what the tech told me and proceeded to advise me of "the policy". Do not go to Turlock Imaging if you can avoid it! Front staff is unprofessional, rude, and no one is making sure things don't fall through the cracks. This place has horrible customer service, patient care, and processes in place to help patients. I was referred here for an xray last year. The report indicated a bone tumor on my hip. The doctor recommended follow up xrays for comparison and so far I have had two. The ONLY thing asked of Turlock Imaging was to compare my first xray to the second and then third. In neither case did they do this. On the third xray the report simply said my xray was unremarkable. To top this off the customer service is awful. When you call to make an appointment they highly discourage you and argue about it. This last week I said I wanted an appt. The girl said it wasn't necessary. I said that the time before a machine had been down and the xray had saved me a lot of time as the waiting room was full. She said it hadn't mattered. This time I again insisted and got called before many people. One girl asked how I got in so quickly when she had been waiting 45 minutes and I told her I had an appt. When I called about the second report which was read incorrectly I was told it was none of my business and they would talk only to my doctor. I said that it was literally only my business. Then when I pressed about seeing my report the girl put me on hold and came back saying there was a mistake and IT had noted in my chart that it had been read incorrectly. This is just unacceptable. Today I came to Turlock Imaging to have X-rays, per my doctor. They no longer make appointments for X-rays. It was a 3 1/2 hour process! I waited almost an hour just to be called to register. No kidding. While all of the staff I dealt with were professional and a couple were even very friendly, it was a frustrating process. I got through it but could see the extra burden this was on older people with health and/or mobility issues. Another patient I was chatting with in the dressing room said she was told two of the three X-ray machines were down. This wasn't just a fluke today- I had called to inquire about getting said X-ray a week and a half prior and the person who took my call warned me the wait could get to be 2-3 hours or more and if I was coming in the afternoon (my original plan was to come after work), I should call and see if they were even taking any more patients for X-rays. Wow. I sure hope this issue will be remedied. read more
