Turlock dentistry is a great place! Very accommodating -friendly staff & awesome Dr. They all make you feel comfortable .

Not only could they not figure out my insurance they were trying to make me pay $1700 for a root canal. Went somewhere else and I only paid $375 outta pocket. Also I cried with the numbing shot which I never have anywhere else because they shake my cheek to distract me from the pain of the needle. I was definitely over charged for my extractions I got done there unfortunately... paid for 50% when my insurance covers 80%. The dentist barely said anything to me which I didn't like as my normal dentist talks and walks me thru the entire procedure. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. read more

Great staff, they definitely make you comfortable if you're extremely nervous about dental extractions. Great work as well. Pain management afterwards, don't expect it. I'm still struggling to manage my pain and after contacting the DR there is still nothing they can do. I had 2 extractions and one root canal, I'd recommend you can find a place that handles pain afterwards. Maybe someone who prefers to manage their patients pain, it might be a better choice. If you have a full time job, expect to be out of work because there's no way to go back to work like they stated I was able to. Hopefully this helps someone who feels like they were left in unmanageable pain. Coming from a family in the medical field, a patient should be treated properly for pain, ESPECIALLY after oral surgery/extractions. read more

This is the best dentist office that I've been to. Stacy in the front is always so friendly and helpful and takes time to answer my questions regarding dental work + insurance coverage. Recently, I came to Dr. Chahal with what seemed to be a tooth abscess and needing a root canal and not only did they fit me in right away but they checked on me during non office hours to see how my swelling was and to prescribe antibiotics for my infection. I've never been a fan of visiting the Dentist but this group is the best in my opinion! Since taking on this office, the new Dentists are doing a great job! They are kind, happy, very knowledgeable and up to date on the lastest and greatest ways in Dentistry. For me, a special thank you will always be directed at Stacey Ramsour! She knows what she's doing and always gets me in when I need an ASAP appointment. She's professional and organized and never fails to make me feel like a friend! Staff is great but Not very happy with the services provided by Chahal. Went for the big work to use up most of the Insurance available. Instead of discussion procedures with patient he made a choice for you vs providing options and letting you decide what you want to do first. Claimed we were done with obvious work to be done( but that wasn't high dollar work)so I pointed it out. After voicing my opinion then he did the work. It was horrible work by the way since it was mediocre and was sensitive for a long time. Went to another dentist to have them fix it correctly and help stop the pain. Things were good at the beginning but true colors of his profession quickly surfaced. Too bad yelp won't let you rate less than one star otherwise he would be in the negatives read more

Dr Chahal is the best dentist I have ever been to. Very painless root canal and same day crown. Was in and out within 1 hour or so. Minimal cost out of pocket. Definitely recommend Smile Bright for anyone looking for a new dentist. read more

The staff was really great, but the reason for the 2 stars is because I specifically asked if my sons insurance was OON and they told me that it was but assured me I would not make a payment for more than the 150 but then They they collected 180 at the time of his visit. Then I received a bill and a dumb note saying "your insurance paid less than we anticipated :)" like its funny now that I need to pay $220 out of my pocket plus the 180 I already paid upfront at the office. This is why I specifically asked how much more it would be oon. I would of walked out and found a dentist in network if i would have been notified of this by there insurance specialist at the time!!! don't waste your time or money! read more

Such great staff and excellent Dr. I came here for my wisdom teeth removal but he recommended me to an oral surgeon which made me happy because he knew he couldn't do it and didn't put me at risk any other dentist would have just done it and put me at risk. Took my son in for tooth pain darn Doc pulled the wrong tooth out. i thought he was muslim my 10 year old was curious about his head wrap so i asked i don't think he liked that very well. instead of he started talking to some one from his office or maybe someone he was traning in his langue got no clue what he was saying but i didn't get good feeling. see you in court DR. read more

I don't even know where to start! All I know is it's taken me years to find such an amazing dentist. About a year-and-a-half ago I went to my regular dentist and had some work done, and somehow, he must have opened my jaws too wide, and for months I suffered from TMJ. I went back to my dentist twice after the work was done and both times he shared there was nothing he could do and that the work was fine. I then started to the chiropractor because the pain was so intense and I didn't know what else to do. I went twice a week to have my jaw popped in, and that didn't work. I was popping Motrin left and right when I finally called Kaiser and they recommended physical therapy. Then I was referred to Smile Bright Family Dentistry and Dr. Chahal shared he could make a few adjustment, and he did. And that was it!! Within a few weeks later my TMJ pain went away. My whole life I've been told I had a small mouth, and I've always dreaded going to the dentist. Dr. Chahal cured me from that. He and his entire stuff are wonderful. If anyone's ever loathed going to the dentist from fear of pain or of bad results you have to give Dr. Chahal a try! You will have no regrets! read more

Dr. Chahal is the best ever!!! I've had a fear of dentists since childhood but no more! I had two root canals that were done improperly by another dentist. When I started having trouble with those teeth at the end of last year Dr. Chahal and his office staff worked hard to get me in to a specialist so I could get help. It was during the Christmas holiday so the specialists were all closed. They got me on antibiotics and kept in touch with me and as soon as the specialist was back from holiday they worked hard to get me in to see him. After treatment I was told that I might loose one or both teeth. Many months later it was confirmed that I needed one of the teeth removed. Dr. Chahal removed the tooth yesterday. He was kind, gentle and it didn't hurt at all! I'm no longer scared of the dentist!! Dr. Chahal is highly skilled, gentle and compassionate. If you are looking for a qualified dentist who is kind, compassionate and knows what he's doing I'd recommend him without hesitation! read more
