I went today for my routine six month cleaning. My hygienist was Jean. She was absolutely amazing. My teeth have never felt so clean. dr. Hanstead is a truly amazing dentist. And the front staff Maria always make sure I know what to expect for my insurance and what my portion will be ahead of time. Absolutely love this office. Wish I had found them. read more

I liked it here until I needed my wisdom teeth taken out. They made it into a big unnecessary hassle. I had to go to a very expensive dental surgeon they recommended. I did not go through with it and instead went to another dentist that did it for me on the spot and it turned out fine. Also no $1,000-ish charge like they wanted do. Ridiculous. read more

There was a problem with my appointment this week but the office manager made it right.

Had a very good experience here today with a cavity filling. I was definitely numbed, and Dr. Hallstead was funny and he did a great job repairing my tooth! My mouth feels great again, and I can safely say that they took really good care of me. Will be going back, for sure! read more

I've been here for almost 15 years. Under this new management and dentist it's been a headache. The hygienist are amazing everything else definitely needs improvement. It took a while to get me in the office because the receptionist didn't keep my appointment. Doctor never told me about my retreat root canal until a hygienist told me a year ago that I've been having an infection for the past 3 years. Absurd. I went forward with the retreat root canal & had a crown done (twice) and I immediately changed dentist. Worst experience under the new dentist and new receptionists. read more

Used to be a good dental office, but since the brother took over things have gone hill fast. My wife went in there recently to get her teeth cleaned and was told everything was good. Some new dentist came in and began prying my wifes bridge off to the point that it is now loose and they have to replace it. Yeah, cost us over $4000! I'm getting an attorney. Consider yourself warned! read more

The ladies in the front desk are very welcoming. I had my deep cleaning twice by one of the hygienist name Jade. She makes me feel very comfortable and I felt like she keeps the conversation going to make me feel at ease. I finally met with Dr. Rodig and he is very nice and friendly. read more

Unprofessional!!! They just take money from patients. Came and check out the place and become a client because of their good review. Had my teeth check up, suddenly one of the Dr. Assessment for my tooth has to be done before it gives problem later on, I specifically told them check with insurance first. What they do is that they do the procedure first and bill your insurance. If insurance doesn't cover they will call you in between the works and have you pay out of pocket!!! My case wasn't emergency and it could've been waited until the insurance covers for it. Be careful to this clinic! Scary and they don't care! read more

Be aware of the charges!!! I paid everything in full when the work was completed. then months later I got a bill for over $500. I paid them over the phone and asked for a receipt before I hung up the phone then i was told I owe more money. What does it sound like to you? I went there because I saw some good reviews. read more

I am extremely nervous about going to the dentist, because of the potential pain and cost, so I let my dental health go unattended. I called around to other dentist but I decided to call vintage dental group and I spoke with one of the ladies in the from office Maria, who was so warm and welcoming, I still need alot of work done but Jade the hygienist and Dr. Fields were so patient, caring and gentle. I would definitely recommend vintage dental to my friends and families. read more

I had such a great first time experience here. After coming to vintage dental I can't see myself going anywhere else in town. I had a few fillings Done and never felt any kind of pain. I have been coming to the dentist office for a long time. I am not a big fan of the dentist office they understand and they treat me very kind and understand my fear they do great work I'd recommend them to anybody. Thank you very much for your outstanding service. read more

If you get really bad anxiety like me when it comes to going to the dentist, this is the perfect place to go. I'm so picky, I wasn't about to go just anywhere. I wanted to go somewhere that everyone else has had nothing but good experiences. The office is really nice and clean, and the ladies at the front desk are very welcoming. Being the chicken that I am, I was about near having a panic attack when I sat down in the dentist chair, but by the time I was done with my cleaning and exam I felt so comfortable and relaxed. The staff here is just amazing. I think Vanessa was the lady who initially helped me out and took all my xrays - she was the best! And then I met Dr. Rodig himself and he was so friendly! The hygienist who cleaned my teeth I believe was Annie and she was so kind and informative. I've never been to a dentist that's so thorough with their work and completely understanding of nervousness/anxiety. I have to go back in soon for my first ever root canal and cavity filling and I'm so scared! But I really feel like I'll be in good hands here at Vintage Dental. Never ever going anywhere else! read more

Wow! This dental office is awesome! I'm so happy I came here. Vanessa was awesome and made me feel so comfortable. I was so afraid to come now I can't wait to have all my work done! The office is clean and I was seen right away. read more

One of my old metal filings fell out and I was really in a pickle. I called Vintage Dental and they were able to work me in the next day. The receptionist Grace was super friendly and was very clear about what to expect in this new COVID world. When I got there, the entire staff was extremely polite and efficient. The dentist that worked on me was very skilled. I did not feel the numbing shot at all and he fixed my filling in record time! Instead of having me come back for X-rays, they worked me in that day since I was already there, saving me another trip! Highly recommend! read more

Dr. Rodig is the man. His staff is so nice and understanding . The Doctor is personable and so good at his job ! I use to go to another office and my crown kept falling off ( 5 times) he was able to fix it in one try . The cost is also reasonable ! I highly suggest them ! read more

I don't mine coming to the dentist anymore because this place makes you feel so comfortable and they are so nice very flexible and will work with you on a payment plan if you can't afford it. read more

Vintage Dental - Very nice staff and they make you feel so comfortable. - General Dentistry Near Me - Modesto, California

I just took my 8 year old to Vintage Dental, and the entire staff was amazing. He was apprehensive about everything. They put him (and me!) at ease. They work with insurance from another state without batting an eyelash. I highly recommend Dr. Rodig and the entire office staff! read more

I just love this place. Can't believe I'm saying this about a dentist. My dentist is in the Bay Area . Since moving to Modesto I had no idea where to go . I'm really nervous about getting dental work done due to some really bad experiences. My cousin & grandma recommend I go to Vintage Dental , said there the best. Business was clean , and staff was super friendly. Put my mind at ease. Dentist was super knowledgeable . I'm going to be getting a lot of work done because I hear what a amazing job he does on crowns. And I have seen his work. I'm looking forward to getting it done. Had a teeth cleaning the other day. She did a fabulous job. I know I will go no where else. I'm happy I found Vintage Dental. . read more

I know I wrote a review last time I was in, however, I just want to reiterate how extremely happy I am with my dental care @ Vintage Dental... I really get anxious when going to the dentist and they are so "Understanding" of my issues. Once again, My sincere appreciation for your always "Caring" ways... read more

Most professional and friendly office. I'm glad I found them. Definitely going to be using this dentist as long as I'm living in Modesto.

The best dental team in Stanislaus County!! Have been to several dentists in our past 30+ years and this place is now my #1 place for all my dental related needs. I had a severe tooth ache that concerned me and from the moment I called in, to the moment I left, I felt like I was their priority. They have all the Covid screenings and protocols in place with drive up phone check-in and Plexiglas checkouts. Everything was seamless, never thought I would be looking forward to going back to the dentist. read more

Great staff and Dentist. Very easy to get in and be seen and their billing department is great at giving accurate estimates and knowing what your insurance will cover. I had some bad work done in the past and ended up with additional bills, that is definitely not the case here. I let Dr. Rodig know what I didn't like about my smile and he was able to fix it right away! I refer everyone I know to Vintage Dental! read more

Best Dental experiencer ever. I just had Deep cleaning done. I was concern that it would take weeks to get all 4 sections done, but they were able to get in me in within a week. They have some of the best staff there. Thanks Anna and Grace for making me feeling comfortable and keeping me inform me for the entire process. read more

This is the best dentist ever!! Our whole family loves them. They always seem to have the latest equipment.. I like the tv's they have to watch when you are getting your work done. It makes it easy to forget where you are. Really good with kids. The hygienist are very personable and always remember you. We deffinetly recommend. read more

Love Vintage Dental. I've been coming here for over 13 years! My hygienist is awesome and every six months I'm in an out of there less than an hour. They have fun raffles in the office and if you ever need any major dental work they will work out a payment plan with you. Last appointment they did try to upsale visaline (braces) to me and that was a but irritating! But still a five star in my book! :) read more

This isn't my primary dentist but I came to them because of their high reviews and because of the cosmetic dentistry. Since day one, they've been great. Today I had a visit and it was only my 3rd time here and they let me know the doctor was running a bit behind but would be with me shortly. Not only did they communicate with me about that, but also gave me a Starbucks gift card for my patience! I thought that was pretty nice and also going out of there way for their customers. I'm so glad I came to this dentist! Definitely recommend! read more

My family has been going to Dr Rodig for years. Him and his staff are great!! If you are in the need of a great dentist at very affordable prices, this is the place to go!! read more

Dr. Rick Rodig is one of the best dentist I have yet come across, I have been going there for a few years and he definitely takes care of his patients. He actually started me off on invisalign which are invisible braces. Although, it's a long process and you have to have a lot of patience I was determined to have amazing teeth, he definitely helped me along the way. If I'm going to pay over 3,000 for something I'm going to be very picky about what I want. We had to send impressions of my teeth a few times to the invisalign company and he never made me feel like I was being an obnoxious needy patient. If he noticed something wrong with the invisalign he would mention it never rushed my process. Now the staff, is just as great. They're always so welcoming and friendly they remember you, and make you feel like family. I have nothing but great things to say about vintage dental, dr. Rodig and his staff. I highly recommend this place read more

I have hated going to the dentist for any reason all my life, Until now. I had never had a totally pain free dental experience. I have to tell you they way they did everything, I didnt even feel the numbing shots. They even made the crown while I was in the chair and had it on and fixed before I left that day. I now look forward to going in for my cleanings, I have had two already and both pain free. The Dr. his wife and the entire staff are very friendly and treat everyone like family and friends. To me thats important along with payment plans, working with insurance companies and letting you know all of the options before they do anything. Oh and a friend of mine got her invisalign braces here and she is so happy and amazed how well they are wirking for her. Thank you Dr Rick and Staff. read more

I'm a real chicken and they have the solution; sedation dentistry. Very patient and professional.

I first went to Vintage Dental for a consultation for some bridge work I had gotten done elsewhere that was giving me pain. They were very nice and explained everything to me as they went along. They made me feel like I mattered so I went back to them after I was awarded money back for the substandard job the first dentist did. I had developed a fear of dental work after my last episode but they were so gentile and caring always and made sure I was comfortable always . The Dr. did an excellent job on my two new permanent bridges and the whole staff there is always more than awesome and work not just as a team but as a family. I highly recommend them. read more

Do you love going to the dentist? No? Oddly enough, neither do I. The good news is that the folks at Vintage Dental are the best! Dr. Rick Rodig gives the best shots! I honestly could not feel them. His approach is very different from any dentist I've ever been to. And way more successful. Here's something else that's different... Even though the office seems very busy I was never left alone in the room. Every other dentist I've been to left me alone in the room while my mouth got numb after the shots. I LOVE that extra little personal attention. Seriously, it's just no fun to have to go to the dentist. But if you HAVE to, isn't it a good idea to go where they truly seem to care about you as a person? Oh, and he did not try to talk me into spending a lot of money I don't have. I am so impressed about that! No attempt to up-sell me on something I don't need. In today's world, that's refreshing. And one last thing... I LOVE the Halloween picture on Yelp!! read more

Doc Rodig and his staff are the best! After my dentist of some 20 years retired, a relative of mine suggested Vintage Dental. I'm happy I chose this practice. They have the two most important qualities of any profession down pat: competence and compassion. Their location, across from Vintage Faire, and their hours are icing on the cake. Give them a try. You won't be sorry. read more

Dr. Rodig is THE BEST dentist I have ever been to. I have been a patient for over 10 years now. I got a full set of veneer's several years ago and I am still thrilled with my results. Rick and his amazing staff take very good care of me. I feel like a part of the family when I go to their office. Everyone in the office seems to really enjoy being there. It's not an act. Do yourself a favor and go see Dr. Rodig for your dental health! read more

So prior to coming here I hadn't been to a dental appointment in over 8 years... I was in the military and my appointments were made for me to whomever was available. I was in the market for a new dentist. I am extremely happy to report that I made the right choice! From the moment you walk in, your greeted by very friendly and warm staff. They get to know you by name and treat you as family. All my work that I've had done here including cleanings and fillings have been superb with very minimal hindrance In my daily routine. Painless and professional they are! Highly recommend. read more

I highly recommend Vintage Dental. They are professional, experienced, and are passionate about what they do!! Dr. Rodig truly cares about his patients. I've been to Dentists before and it was obvious that they just wanted to sell their services and move on to the next patient. Not Dr. Rodig. Love going to the dentist now!! read more

I really enjoyed my appointment at Vintage Dental. During my first appointment, all of my concerns were thoroughly addressed including wisdom teeth, gum recession, and x-rays needed. The hygienist provided me with in depth information about the root cause of the problem and how to prevent it getting worse in the future rather than trying to treat the symptoms. I appreciated the honesty and care that was exhibited by all of the staff. Very happy to find this office in town! read more

This is the best dentist office. They took care of a bad tooth problem the same day I called! Always friendly and helpful
