This review is really long overdue. I first came here 2019/2020 (peak covid) because I needed a root canal. I had checked my surroundings at the time, and everyone else was a one to two week wait time for an appointment. If you are familiar with root canals, you know how unbearable the pain is. Dr. Grewal saw me the very next day, after I had called late afternoon. He offered affordable pricing without insurance (trust me, I compared), and immediate service. I am forever appreciative, and even more grateful that he is straight to the point with telling you what you need done vs other locations that try and get multiple unnecessary services out of you. Over time, he has turned into our family dentist. I appreciate that he works with my parents' availability to take care of them too. This place deserves all the 5 stars! read more

My sister was here from Southern California for a family emergency. She had extreme tooth pain and could not even function. We searched and found Dr. Grewal to be available to see her for an emergency visit. What a wonderful Dentist! He took care of my sister and was able to get her the medication needed to clear up an infection. We scheduled another appointment with him a few days later to complete the process. I've been going to Frontier Dental for 5+ years and they have been amazing the whole time! They worked with me even when I didn't have dental coverage and didn't charge an arm and leg. Woke up at 2:30am Sunday morning with throbbing pain in my mouth. I was super stoked to find a dentist open on a Sunday. I got an appointment for 10am and ended up missing it. I made it an hour late and he was nice enough to still work me in. Started off with some X-rays to see what was going on and after realizing I needed a root canal he still did the procedure that day. He was honest about not being able to do it until after 1pm (since I missed the original appointment); but the fact is, he stayed till after closing time and helped fix my pain! This dentist, and not I'm even sure what his name was, from the first introduction was he already clearly frustrated because I have had bad dental experiences because I gag very easily and he didn't hide that frustration that he had to work on my teeth. He then began to become hostile because I was asking questions on how my procedure was gonna go. I asked him to show me the tools he would be using and then he stormed out of the office like you just told a five year to go to their room. He brought the tools back and he explained how they were gonna be used , but by this time him and I were already arguing over the lack of compassion that he had towards a patient that had bad dental experiences and a problem gagging, also that they had zero help for patients that have issues. Finally I said ok let's do it just pull the tooth I acted pumped only to try to make myself relax and calm down. He then stormed out of the room and said he was done told me to leave and would not work on my teeth knowing it was a dental emergency. The staff I don't remember her name did great tho super helpful and got me through the X-rays just by being nice and polite even if I was reacting poorly cause I was stressed about having a procedure done so thank you to her. Also I have a problem with the fact out of the 3 dentist places I went to this week none them had a way to relax a patient not even oxygen, they all made it a point to tell me that it's only for children mostly since they can't relax. Seriously no adults have bad gag reflexes? This dentist had no patience no compassion towards someone who clearly needed help and zero patients for answering questions on said procedure. So clearly I do not recommend this dentist and I think doctors, I'm sorry he's not a dr. I think dentist should take some type of class that teaches them how to have compassion for their patients who are spending a grip of money to get their teeth fixed instead of some dentist acting like I should be so grateful to even be in his presence. So do not go to this doctor, I mean dentist. read more

I use to hate the dentist due to traumatizing experiences as a kid.. but thanks to Dr Grewal, he has changed that for me and I am now a fan of coming to the dentist, especially Frontier Dental. They truly care about the patients well being and always are checking and communicating to make sure I wasn't uncomfortable or feeling pain. I needed a molar removed and was in a great deal of pain. I was visiting my sister in Stockton so I had to select a dentist in her area. I am so glad I found Frontier Dental. They were able to get me in on a Sunday, determine the problem and arrange a safe extraction for the following Wednesday. They were professional, efficient, and very compassionate (a rare trait these days). Their services were affordable and he was the most concerned dentist I've come across in all my life. I had my first visit today with Dr. Grewal. I'm very impressed at how friendly and professional he and his assistant are. The office was very clean and nicely appointed. Dr. Grewal sets aside a two hour block of time for each patient so you aren't sitting there staring at other people (or they you). It's relaxed and comfortable. He explains his proposals very thoroughly so you don't feel like you're in the dark. I look forward to more visits to complete my rather extensive dental work. My husband and I both loved Dr Grewal. His prices are reasonable he is very personable and he does a fantastic job. Helped my husband get rid of stains that have been embarrassing to him for years. Helped me calm down when I had anxiety about a much needed root canal and crown. No longer in pain thanks to him! I have been going to Dr. Grewal for about two years now, and before I started going to him I hadn't been to the dentist in many years because I've had bad experiences with previous dentists, and also because I felt embarrassed about the state of my teeth. Dr. Grewal and his assistant Laura are amazingly professional, kind, and personable, and I will never go without a six months cleaning again. He recently extracted all four of my wisdom teeth, and although I felt very nervous at first, Dr. Grewal quickly put me at ease, making sure I felt comfortable and was not experiencing pain during the procedure. I have conveniently been offered earlier appointment times due to appointment cancellations. They have resolved a frustrating issue due to an error on the part of my insurance, resulting in me having no copay. This is the first dental office I've been too that was the best. From start to finish I was treated like family and was not nervous at all! My teeth felt great and I didn't worry about a thing.
