I arrived this evening to find that they were having an electrical issue inside the food truck and there was a repair technician present and trying to work on the electric. He had his tools including meters, testers, a cordless drill, hand tools, Etc. sitting on top of the food prep surface, and also on top of the stack of foil squares that they use to wrap up the food. In addition the cook/employee on site did the following in the short time I was standing there waiting to order: he was wearing gloves but I watched him multiple times take his cell phone in and out of his pocket to use it as a flashlight for the technician, scratched his hair with his gloved hand, put his jacket on and took it back off, moved heavy equipment around to give the technician more space, moved multiple other non-sanitary items including an extension cord that had been running across the ground outside between the food truck and the main building. Immediately after doing so, a food delivery driver arrived and with the same gloves that he had done all this stuff with, picked up prepared food off the counter to put it in the Panini Press, then took the food off The Panini Press once it was toasted, moved the tools off of the foil wrappers, and proceeded to wrap up the food that had just had dirty technician tools/equipment all over it. Never change his gloves, didn't rinse them, nothing. That is a major illness waiting to happen. Know your food safety guys, please! Because your food is really good but it's not worth getting sick or dying from. Gloves are a great idea as long as the person wearing them follows health code regulations and Common Sense. I feel for the poor unsuspecting victim who is waiting patiently at home for his food delivery driver to arrive.
