This place does not disappoint! Returned here after getting back in town for a meal when our house had no food in it. Service was great, attentive staff, love the atmosphere and music. We had the bang, bang shrimp, lamb wings, beef tacos, chicken and shrimp chow mein, lamb momos. Chow mein was the best bite, we ordered it spicy and it packed a punch! Everything was delicious. I enjoy the Arabic tea to finish things off. read more

The food is excellent. Very flavorful. Cocktails are also very good. I had the passion fruit lemonade very refreshing. The black pepper steak dish was very tasty too. Came with jasmine rice/ must have the salt and pepper wings too. They do get super busy there to expect a wait, the staff are not that well trained on ti let times and when it gets busy people are eating to put orders. In. The wait is well worth it for the food. Overall sold experience! Very clean and trendy restaurant. It's décor is nice and inviting. The seats are comfortable for most guest whether you are dining at a table or booth. However, if you are plus size you might not find the seats at the tables as comfortable, they might feel rather snugged. The circumference of the seats aren't wide enough to accommodate plus sized guests. You might feel more comfortable at one of the booths instead. Also, they are accommodating to large parties. We had a party of about 20 people and were giving an entire section of the restaurant to ourselves which was a mix of one of the longer tables that seats about 12-14 guests and two tables that seats 4 guests each. We were initially told that we couldn't sit at some of the boots because the restaurant wanted to save them for other customers coming to dine in. That would have been fine expect for the fact that our party included plus size guest that were uncomfortable in the seats at the tables and needed the booths to have more room. So after a short back and forth with the staff our guest were able to sit at the booths. Even though the restaurant was accommodating for the most part they are still finding their way with working with larger parties so I decided to give them some grace. I think they could have used more servers for our party as well. There were only two (2) and I think a third server would have proven a tad more efficient. There were some guest who were inadvertently overlooked during the ordering process and so not everyone's orders came out around the same time. There was a small miscommunication between the two servers which led to this as well. Also, if you have a large party and want to split the bill, they will only split it up to three (3) checks. So just keep that in mind. A work around for this would be to have individuals in your party send you their funds through one of the electronic payment platforms and then you pay the bill and reimburse yourself with the funds they sent you (e.g. venmo, cashapp, paypal). Also, gratuity was not automatically included on our bill. Under starters the menu shows that for the Crispy Chicken Spring Rolls you get 6 pieces. It wasn't clear to all in the party who ordered that starter that this was a typo and that you really only get two (2) spring rolls so that added to a bit of confusion as well. I believe this has been fixed on the website but hopefully they fix it on the hard copy menu. Even with those hiccups and areas for improvement my overall experience was great as the food was absolutely delicious and the price point is within reason. Very tasty dishes bursting with unique flavor profiles like the spicy shrimp with eggplants. It doesn't say it on the menu but I believe the sauce is made with a tasty fish paste which I enjoyed but for someone not accustom to that type of flavor profile it might catch you off-guard. So if you have any questions about any of their dishes it's good to ask you server. The fried rice is really delicious here too. Dumplings soup is flavorful. The garlic basil salmon is a winner too. I enjoyed everything and my guests had no complaints about the food either so everyone left satisfied and eager to return. I look forward to returning in a smaller party next time or even trying takeout. There appears to be a pool area, that could be a fun night with family and friends. I didn't get a chance to inquire about it but will next time. read more

We were intrigued by the number of different options at Turkey Berry. We called in for pickup and our order was ready in about 25 minutes. The space itself is large, with a huge dining area and a dedicated counter for takeout orders. We tried a variety of dishes. The papaya salad was the standout--fresh, flavorful, and definitely our favorite of the meal. The pani puri was just okay; a bit soggy, and a couple pieces were unexpectedly much spicier than the rest. The Korean chicken wings had great flavor and were very crispy, but the wings themselves didn't have much meat. The pad thai with no meat was the most disappointing--bland and lacking flavor, and we really wished it had more veggies to make up for the missing protein. Overall, it's an okay spot if you're looking for a place with lots of different Asian options, but the execution was hit or miss for us. read more

Tried this place on a Friday early afternoon. Nice and quiet (great music). However, I'm told in the evenings it's bustling. The space has trendy, pink decor but that should not deter you from the food. Lots of delicious options and everything came out hot and fresh! I have to travel for work relatively often and sometimes it puts me in areas that have a lot of interesting restaurants. Not that Philly is truly far from me, but 2.5 hours one way isn't a drive I'd voluntarily take for food. Turkey Berry's atmosphere is definitely city like, modern gray tones, bar to the left, counter and sit down seating service to the right. Neon light accents the decor like a night club and they serve pretty cool proto typical albeit mocktails, as if you were in a 1980s sit down restaurant. Food is great, love the fusion concept of cuisines I can't find near me, or when I was in NJ to be honest. Had the laab wings; super crispy and juicy. They had a nice spicy and semi sweet flavor. Also have chili chicken which was simplistic in nature but tasty. Hot peppers, bell peppers, onions, scallions with chopped up boneless chicken and some white rice topped with egg. Finished with soy sauce to give the dish a well rounded lemony salty and sweet balance. Finished with chanachur which is kind of an over the top bhel puri chana dal sev combo dish. Everything was spiced well too. Next time I visit I am going straight to Turkey Berry for more food because I can't wait to taste the Cambodian version of a banh mi. read more

Had the most delicious peach drink. Could have had a few of them as a meal. Sadly the rib eye steak was not medium rare and was tough as shoe leather. So many other things to try but everyone who had a beef dish felt it was chewy and tough. Want to try the soup next time we go. read more

Turkey Berry Restaurant offers a delightful atmosphere with its beautiful decor and inviting vibes, making it a great spot for a casual dining experience. The interior is tastefully designed, with a blend of modern and cozy touches that create a welcoming ambiance. However, while the atmosphere is top-notch, the food falls a bit short of exceptional. The dishes are decent, but they lack the wow factor that would make them stand out. I opted for the Indonesian shrimp fried rice and Korean fried wings to start. Overall, it's a place where you can enjoy a pleasant meal in a lovely setting, but the food could use some improvement to match the overall experience. Service was prompt and welcoming. read more

Loveee the decor! The name of this place certainly throws me through a loop but the menu items are so fresh and well balanced. The service was adequate, a bit slower towards the end while we waited for our check and to-go orders, however, during our wait one of the staff members (can't remember her name, but she's super sweet) came over to our table to chat with us about the restaurant, our experience and the food. Extremely Disappointing Experience - Long Delays, No AC, and Poor Food Quality "I am writing this review to share our very disappointing experience at Turkey Berry. My family and a group of friends drove over an hour and a half for a reservation, hoping for a pleasant outing. Unfortunately, the evening was a total failure. Despite having a reservation, we weren't seated until 30 minutes after our scheduled time. Once seated, we discovered there was no working air conditioning. The restaurant was stiflingly hot, making the experience unbearable for our group, especially for the children, who eventually had to go back out to the car just to find some relief. Despite bringing this to the staff's attention multiple times, no action was taken to address the heat. We noticed many other tables around us leaving in frustration due to long wait times. We decided to stay and give it a chance, but it was a mistake. Our food took over an hour to arrive, and it was not served all at once. When it finally did arrive, the quality was unacceptable--the food had a bad smell and was essentially inedible. The wings we ordered specifically for the children didn't arrive until an hour and fifteen minutes after we were seated. Ultimately, we were so upset that we cancelled the remainder of our order, paid for what had been brought out (though most of it went untouched due to the quality), and left. We ended up having to go to a completely different restaurant just to ensure the kids could get a proper meal. This experience completely ruined the occasion we had planned. We will certainly not be returning." read more

Unique atmosphere! I tried this place out of curiosity, I've been to the restaurant before it turned into turkey berry. Not gonna like the name is a little off putting in my opinion but I'm glad I tried it! I decided to order takeout, I got the Thai chili wings & drunken noodles with beef. The wings stayed crispy throughout my travels back home. They were big, meaty, crispy & delicious! The drunken noodles had excellent flavor however the noodle itself was a little too squishy for my linking (hence why I took one star off) im not sure if they got a little over cooked because they were to go or if they just serve their noodles that soft. However I would definitely order from here again and would love to dine in next time! read more

Turkey Berry is an interesting space with very eclectic decor and a lively, albeit random and inconsistent atmosphere. The service was very friendly and we received some much appreciated recommendations. The tamarind wings had a great dry rub and were very crispy. The korean fried wings had a nice sauce, but could have had a stronger flavor. The pepper beef was very good! The sauce glazed the meat well and it was very tender and paired well with the veggies. The fried noodles were solid with decent flavor and the meat was cooked perfectly for it. Looking forward to coming back and trying the rest of the extensive menu! read more

This was my first time trying Turkey Berry and I'm ecstatic to say that the food was great. I've been wanting something different lately and Turkey Berry was it. We tried Indonesian chicken fried rice, Korean wings, and pad Thai chicken as well as a Mango boba. We loved all of it. The wings were perfectly crispy; the rice was deliciously savory, and the pad Thai chicken was incredibly flavorful. I look forward to coming back and trying something new. When I say this place is a 10/10, I mean it!! Had the pleasure of dining here for the first time yesterday. So glad we did!! Everything was perfect. There is on site parking. They have pool tables and hookah. The restaurant is beautiful. Although they do not have liquor, the mocktail options are so good. We played pool which is offered for $20 an hour. For drinks, I had a pina coloda & the leeche rose. Both tasted so good to be mocktails. For starters, I had the beef lemongrass. When I say this was the most tender well seasoned meat ive ever had, I mean it!!! For my main, I had indonesian shrimp fried rice with lamb. Perfect combination! The best part was the customer service. The owner personally came to check on us serveral times to make sure everything was to our liking. Everyone was so attentive and so sweet. They made sure we enjoyed EVERYTHING. I will for sure be going back next time Im in the area. read more

I gave them a call they explained that they didn't get to my online order in time that it was cancelled and I should be received my money back... It's been a week now still no money.. tried to call them no answer so I called my bank they informed me that my money is still pending for them to receive it and that they don't see any refunds from them coming in... Great food. Great service and love love love the ambiance. Love the colors in the inside. Very pleasing to the eye. Very instagrammable, very clean, very photogenic. They have a "virgin bar" inside along with a dessert bar and a few pool tables in the back. Nice music and we pretty had the place to ourselves even on a Friday night. Good location with free parking. Food was really good and a plus with it being halal. Add on another plus for it being so fresh you can taste it. My favorite so far are the shrimp balls and the Korean fried chicken. the shrimp balls with the sauce was very good and the Korean fried chicken was fried right! Like it should be. It's hard to find good Korean fried chicken even at Korean restaurants but this hit the spot. You can control the amount of spice on their menu items which I love because my spice limit is really low, like Chipotle chicken is a little too hot sometimes. My only critique is that the food could have come out a little faster. It seemed everything was made to order and I get they are new but all of our food didn't come out at the same time. It was timely and wasn't a super long wait but we also had patience because they are new and the food was sooo good. Big enough serving to take some home. And just a heads up that they offer a cash discount if you pay your bill in cash! Prices are reasonable, they have a good variety of dishes and some fun cocktails.
