My appointment was for 1:15 but I got there early and was taken right away. The manager Issac greeted me and did the test . The website states smog tests could take up to an hour so I took a seat and within maybe 30 minutes I was all done. Issac told me my car passed and the certificate was sent over electronically to the DMV. I had a coupon for $10.00 off I found on their website and it was honored. My truck had recently undergone some repairs and unfortunately did not pass the smog test. Instead of simply sending me on my way, he took the time to explain what I needed to do. He advised me to drive the truck around town with plenty of stop-and-go driving and to take it on a longer drive outside of Ventura to help put more miles on it so it would be more likely to pass the next smog check. He also recommended that I keep my vehicle registration and my Smogies invoice with me in case I were to get pulled over while driving before the retest. That level of attention to detail and genuine care is hard to find these days. My husband and I prefer Smogies over any other smog shop.
