The last time I was there about 5 months ago, a nurse, PA that I have never seen before told the ER Dr. Spangler that sometime in the last 8 years I've been going there that I threaten to sue her if she didn't give me drugs. That Dr. ALWAYS treated me well as he know my med situation better then me. He would give me several injection of 2mg of Dilauted and, write scripts for me for narcotic pain meds like dilated scripts. The last time, he came into my room at the ER mad as hell! He kicked me out without treating me, breaking a federal concerning stabilize and treating patients in a ER. He told me to never come back to the ER. Breaking another law. So I'm screwed the next time I need an ER. The Athol Ambulance can ONLY take a patients to the Athol ER. The other hospital ER is about 45 minutes to close to an hour away. And, there is a coverup going on. I had some PR lady messaged me calling me a liar and stating that the ER NEVER turns a patient away. Oh yeah?

I have found a lawyer that is very interested in the details of my horrible experience, perhaps I can do something to at least prevent another from the chances of being mistreated abused misdiagnosed left in pain and humiliated. I typically wait only 5 minutes or so in the waiting room when I arrive for an appointment, and then maybe 3-5 minutes max in the exam room for the doctor. Typically you get good, quick service, which isn't true everywhere. The only potential issue is that it can take a while to get routine appointments (they book 3-4 weeks out sometimes). But the few times I've had an urgent appointment they've gotten me in the same day. You usually see the nurse practitioner, but she's great so that's not an issue. I'd recommend this practice to anyone.
