He was on so many different medications it was making him physically sick (her constantly changing the doses didn't help either). The one and only time I went with him she was rude as hell to me. She came into the room (after taking forever) said hi to my husband and then turned, looked at me and rudely asks "who are you?" I of course told her I was his wife, her response? "...Huh" . She doesn't even dress professionally either, when I saw her she was in a pair of jeans a freaking t-shirt (I understand wearing sneakers so that didn't bother me). I was given eyedrops to use in addition to the ones I had at home, and told to use warm compresses and wash my hands lots. As the nurse herself said, antibiotics do NOT cure viral infections, but may patients still want- and sometimes insist- on having them. My only concern is that I was offered them at all: " Prescribing antibiotics for viral infections is completely ineffective, as antibiotics kill bacteria but have absolutely no effect on viruses. Doing so does not speed up recovery or relieve symptoms. Instead, it introduces serious health risks to the patient and contributes to a critical global health crisis (I am quoting AI here).

I'm banned from the Athol Memorial Hospital ER. I've been suffering from chronic pancreatitis for 8…read moreyears. Also during this time I was on fentanyl patches 100Mcg for 8 years. The last time I was there about 5 months ago, a nurse, PA that I have never seen before told the ER Dr. Spangler that sometime in the last 8 years I've been going there that I threaten to sue her if she didn't give me drugs. That Dr. ALWAYS treated me well as he know my med situation better then me. He would give me several injection of 2mg of Dilauted and, write scripts for me for narcotic pain meds like dilated scripts. The last time, he came into my room at the ER mad as hell! He kicked me out without treating me, breaking a federal concerning stabilize and treating patients in a ER. He told me to never come back to the ER. Breaking another law. So I'm screwed the next time I need an ER. The Athol Ambulance can ONLY take a patients to the Athol ER. The other hospital ER is about 45 minutes to close to an hour away. And, there is a coverup going on. I had some PR lady messaged me calling me a liar and stating that the ER NEVER turns a patient away. Oh yeah?
