I ended up having to have 3 surgeries (over the better part of a year) in order to put my ankle back into a functioning state. During that time I came to know Dr. Boisvert fairly well. As a surgeon she is top shelf. My ankle was in a lot of pieces and she put them back together perfectly. As a communicator she was also great. Not only communicating with myself, but also with the wound doctor that was also tending to my ankle. She was very clear in her explanations leading up to every procedure that I had done, and encouraged my feedback every step of the way. I am very grateful to Dr. Boisvert! Though it did take 3 months to get a new patient appointment (for just an annual physical, nothing urgent), I'm happy I waited - the staff was lovely and the location was very convenient. I was brought into the room right away, only had to wait a few minutes for my doctor, received the recommended vaccinations from the nurse as soon as my time with the doctor ended, and had blood drawn immediately after that. I received the results within a few days, and the prescription refills and referral that I needed were sent off immediately. My only complaint was that I needed a form filled out for work once my bloodwork results were available, and they wouldn't hold onto the form for me - they said I needed to bring it to the Acton location myself because they don't have a medical secretary on-site, though I think they're looking for one now!

Should have listened to the other review since I did read it before going. Decided to try out for…read moremyself and it turned out to be a huge mistake. I was greeted by one of the staff's dog running around the entire office and waiting room. Didn't seem very sanitary to me considering this was a doctor's office. I had to introduce myself to Dr. He at the front desk my second visit since she never had the decency to meet me the two different times I was there as a new patient. I was really upset when Dr. He submitted my routine physical incorrectly to my insurance. The insurance company assured she was in network and covered the cost of the routine physical she just needed to submit the proper coding. I called at least three times to Dr He's office to get this fixed. Each time I was told that it would be taken care of. When I would call back to follow up I would find nothing was done and would get an excuse why nothing had been done. Each time there was a new excuse. Basically I was lied to so I would get off the phone and they had no intentions of helping me. One of the times Dr. He got on the phone and started yelling at me about how I don't understand my insurance plan. I eventually drove back to the office and handed Dr. He the phone to speak with my insurance company. They would not tell me what was discussed but did say one of the codes submitted was for a person between the ages of 40-72. I am 33. Maybe Dr. He would know how old I am if she actually took interest and met with me. In the end it sounded as though if she were to resubmit the proper coding then she would get in trouble for fraud since everything had already been processed. As a result, she would not go through with the proper coding in order to cover herself. Run the other way if you are considering this physician. Dr. He is a fraud and will process your visits incorrectly leaving you in a black hole with your insurance companies and her office staff.

The office in Maynard was fast, clean, friendly and efficient. As new patients we were registered and in a room within 5 minutes. The back room is set up similar to an ER with the doctor/ nurses station in the middle and all the patients' rooms in a larger square surrounding it. X-Rays were taken right across the hall. The doctors were able to confer with our orthopedist and pediatrician. The staff was excellent! Friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend going here.

I was seen right away by a very professional nurse & my vitals were taken & she inquired about the reason for my visit. The doctor sent me in for an X-ray prior to seeing me. Dr McDonald then explained he didn't see any major injury but after questioning me, was concerned about a possible blood clot. He then referred me to the ER to rule out this possibility of a blood clot & further suggested I see an orthopedist for the knee pain From beginning to end the care I received was thorough & professional. Middlesex Rehab was by far the most effective, caring and professional office. The patients develop a camaraderie that makes PT easier. I never dreaded my treatments. But it was time for this decade's tuneup, so after examining the list of available primary care providers, I made an appointment with Dr. Jain. I am so pleasantly surprised! The office is small (in a good sort of way) and very idyllically set in a modernized old stone building with views of fields from the waiting room window. The staff are very nice and treat you like an individual, rather than just another piece of the crowd. The phlebotomist, in particular is very sweet and put me at ease, drawing the blood samples quickly and smoothly. Dr. Jain is focused and approachable, takes her time and answers questions clearly. She is thorough and definitely gives me the impression she knows her stuff. One of my complaints was that I had lost some high end hearing in my left ear. I thought it was due to my old habit of standing next to speakers at punk rock shows, but Dr. Jain peered into my ear, and found fluid behind the ear dream. She directed me to take sudafed and lo and behold, after one dose, I can hear out of the left ear as well as the right! I hope I won't need her services too often, but I am really glad I found Dr. Jain!
