Dr Schmitt seemed knowledgeable and I was satisfied with the answers I received regarding my condition. The front desk was polite; and the lab technician friendly and personable. That said, I would not return to this practice nor recommend it to my friends or family. The medical assistant or nurse that does the intakes and vitals was extremely abrupt. To give an example, when asked what hurt, I mentioned two body parts. She said to me without making eye contact, "pick ONE!" In addition, I was surprised by the additional crew in the room. There was a Monty Tech student and the Dr has an assistant notetaker. All piled into the room without asking my consent. I am pretty easy to please. My requirements for medical visits is that I'm treated respectfully, that I feel "heard", and my privacy is honored by asking me first before inviting a team.
